We found this place just looking for something different, and couldn’t be better! Even with my lactose intolerance, we ate pizza and avocado salad perfectly adapted! The food is great. Gulu City is growing at an exponential rate. I was here before covid, but the place is almost unrecognisable. The roads are in great condition and very safe. I was able to drive safely to most attractions. Around falls is a brilliant place to visit once in the city.

Where to start about Orchid Cafe?. The food has been fantastic and seemed to get better with each visit lately. The staff is always attentive and very responsive. The manager has genuine concern about your experience, and constantly seeks feedback to improve the service. I haven't had everything on the menu but unlike many restaurants in the city, the items are actually available and prepared very well. The mushroom soup, any breakfast menu item, the variety of teas and juices, are all done to your satisfaction and well proportioned. Orchid is one of few places in Gulu where you can go and actually have a SANDWICH. I look forward to having their pizza as I have already crowned some other restaurant in town the pizza king of Gulu beforehand. Local food is also available, but when you have a taste for something different I highly recommend Orchid Cafe with their reasonable prices and well selected variety.

Excellent cafe in Gulu to rest and enjoy meal. Ambience and food quality is very good. I requested roasted chicken and chips, which was delicious and quantity was also enough for two people.

Orchid Cafe has transformed withPatrick Oundo as manager. Fast service, great menu, friendly attentive wait staff, and a kitchen wanting and ready to please. Spicy veg pizza was great, ox liver tender and delicious, and and a custom vanilla latte with ground cinnamon just right! Well done!

There's not a lot of places that have a cappuccino machine in Gulu. This is by far the best one in town. Their food is good and their service is excellent. I highly recommend you stop by.

I ate the most loving pizza there,its a great place to go and spend some cash,I loved the workers,they are really good and welcoming,they have that slow music that makes you Meditate as you eat your food,the seats are so comfy and the Lights in the cafe are just my favourite.. its a great place that I recommend you to go when you visit Gulu City
