Tonight was our first time visiting The Twisted Olive. I have always wanted to eat here. Our group of eight, ate here tonight. I can't believe I waited so long to eat here! 🤦‍♀️. The food was fantastic, the drinks....well worth the cost, and the service was impeccable! I highly recommend not just for a special occasion but encourage you for a fantastic meal with service that will impress!

An evening at the Twisted Olive REQUIRES you to start with the crispy brussels sprouts, along with a cocktail or glass of wine. Seriously, these will be the best sprouts you’ve ever had. Entrées to follow are what makes the evening turn from good to great! The selection of pastas, filets, healthies, and pies are what make the menu vast yet not too overwhelming. We enjoyed the evening catching up with close friends while being surrounded by a warm, homey atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back in the summer with our pup on the patio!

What a great find- wish I would have known about sooner. The restaurant is a warm and inviting rustic setting- great outside seating as well. Everyone in my party had a great meal. Great chicken wings. One item that stands out is the brussels sprouts appetizer- try it you will be pleasantly surprised. The service was top-notch as well.

A beautiful place with amazing food! Highly recommend the twisted Mac and cheese! The drinks are amazing, and the service is always prompt and thorough! After eating, you can take a walk through the park behind the building or around the pond outside. Always a great time going here!

Everything about The Twisted Olive is amazing: the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Went there to their annual Wilderfest was very enjoyable, but the best part to me was enjoying the natural beauty of the grounds surrounding the restaurant on such a beautiful fall day.

After a long work day on a Monday, we decided to go out for dinner. We went to one of our favorite places and we were not disappointed. We didn’t have any wait to be seated and we got there in time for the happy hour prices which was a nice surprise. We ate downstairs and the bartender and server were wonderful. Delicious food, as always!🍷

You want to talk about an excellent experience. My family and I were absolutely impressed with everything, from the awesome facility, knowledgeable and high energy waitress and the phenomenal flavors. All of the meats and other entrees were cooked to perfection and the drinks were great. I'm bummed I missed happy hour, but the brussel sprouts are a must. I will definitely be returning with family and clients.

Delicious, higher-end place for lunch or dinner. The calamari appetizer is my absolute favorite. Have tried a number of their pastas, all of which have tasted great, and the pizza is a good wallet-friendly pick as well. I don’t often drink at restaurants so I haven’t tried any, but if you’re a wine fan this seems like a great place to try out a wide selection. They take reservations and get pretty busy sometimes, so usually worth calling ahead.

A member of the Gervasi family of restaurants. Cuisine is focused on Italian American with a twist. We went there as a foursome for dinner and were happy we made reservations on a Monday night as it was packed!!! Food was excellent - as it tends to be at all the Gervasi properties we've been to. Service was top notch and the employees appeared happy and long serving. Our waitress told us she was there for several years. This is a good testament to a good organization. Prices were moderate for rthe quality of the food we received. Two of our party are Pescatarians and there was no problem in substituting any of the proteins on the dishes selected. The waitress made sure the kitchen was aware of our desires and also steered us away from those dishes were we could not be accommodated. This is exactly what should happen. I think our favorite dish was the Feta spread appetizer due to its uniqueness, but all the dishes were absolutely excellent!

The restaurant and grounds are beautiful. I always find something to eat and enjoy it. The menu, though, really is twisted; the dishes are weird, always some component they've included which makes me shake my head and not order something that would otherwise be perfect. I don't want to special order, leave "this" out. A note to The Twisted Olive (owner). We have been dining at your establishment since you opened the doors. Obviously, it's not that I "don't like" your menu, My choices become limited, simply because I don't want to special order. Going forward, I will request that the kitchen leave out whatever I don't want to eat.

This favorite has become a delight in the area of Green off Massillon Rd. Easy to get to off I 77. Lunch or an intimate dinner ask for Kim and she will take care of you. Our selections were delicious and filling. Plenty of room for parties and an event. Loved my dessert. Take in the balcony and view of the lake, bring your dog.

The Braised Short Ribs were absolutely perfectly cooked. Garlic Mashed Potatoes are delicious. The wife's vegetable of the day, green beans, were under al dente and unpleasant. Her Filet Oscar was cooked well. Both entrees plating could have used some finesse. Rather sloppy and could have used a towel to the rim. But overall a very nice meal.

Lastnight was my first time visiting Twisted Olive and it was hands down 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. From the moment my friend and I walked through the door everyone was so friendly. We had a small wait but with how busy the restaurant was we expected to wait longer. Once we got to our table our waiter was so friendly and personable and knew the menu impressively. Everything he said was true from drinks to certain dishes. Our food came out quickly which was unbelievable with how busy the restaurant was and was so delicious. The entire is place is beautiful with an awesome atmosphere . My friend and I will be back weekly! Twisted Olive you guys rock! 10 out of 10 you hit every mark!

I spend my Birthday lunch here and all I can say is PERFECT! We choose outdoor as it’s heated and the view is priceless and the server is very polite and attentive! The food is so good and delicious. I really enjoy the Cream Brûlée Cheesecake and my Entree Lobster Ravioli is so so Good the food portion is generous 🤩 it really worth the money! I really recommend this place ♥️

This is one of the best restaurants in North Canton. The food taste delicious and the service was amazing. We tried their non alcoholic blue mojito for drinks, chicken cheese tortellini and walleye with mashed potatoes for entrees. Great ambiance, great people and great food. All in all, amazing experience.

We had lunch. We ordered the roasted Brussel sprouts and crispy shrimp appetizers. They were the best part of the meal. My husband had the Napoli pie, and I had the loaded burger and fries. The burger and fries were slightly overcooked. He had tiramisu. They do have a large gluten-free menu. We would go there again and try something else.

I've been here so many times but only recently discovered they have a nice lake view in the background. We always enjoy coming here not only for the great food but also for the warm homey space and chill atmosphere. One of my favorite dish on the menu is their calamari with their own sauce. While chaperoning my kids for homecoming, I quickly discovered they have non alcoholic cocktails which were all refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend Twisted Olive specially for a date night.

The Greek chicken meatballs were outstanding! I wanted to try something different and the Greek chicken meatballs definitely fit that bill. They had great flavor and the sauce and feta cheese were so delicious. Definitely on my list of restaurants to visit whenever I get a chance to travel to the Akron -Canton area.

Wonderful food. I've never eaten or heard of a bar dish. The atmosphere is upscale but laid back. The deck overlooks Southgate Park and a pond. It's a beautiful spot to hang out for drinks and appetizers or full meals. It's not enclosed, it's only open in warm months. This is a bit on the pricier side but well worth it for the ambiance, food and scenery. They also have a gluten free menu. Make sure you ask for gluten free option instead of rolls. You're not left out of anything!

I didn't like the fact it was Coca-Cola products, then found out a salad doesn't come with your PASTA 🙄 ( as it should) only with an Entre....like, really!! The scenery is beautiful, though!! I never had peas, corn in my pasta before, took one bite... yuck! The server did correct it, and I re-ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. I asked if it came with sautéed onions/mushrooms, and no, it didn't. Told them that mine is much better. I am not able to recommend any dishes. The loaded Fries were at least good.I guess it's still Olive Garden for me.

I'm late to the party with this one but happy I finally made it out to try the Twisted Olive, a Gervasi winery restaurant. This place is stunning inside and out and the restrooms were immaculate which I certainly appreciate. We decided to sit at the bar because we always seem to get the best service there and this was no exception. Garrett our bartender was so friendly and welcoming we instantly felt at home. We started with the shrimp appetizer with calabrian chili sauce that was topped with crispy bacon and was a little on the sweet side but very tasty nonetheless. I ordered the pesto shrimp fettuccine and it had really great flavor and big juicy shrimp. I wish there was just a little more fettuccine in the dish but overall it was very good. My husband ordered their new lasagna dish with pickled peppers and meat sauce and I had total order envy because it was truly magnificent! Massive portion and completely loaded with meat, cheese, pasta, and peppers. Hands down one of the best I've had in the area. We'll definitely be back soon

A nice restaurant with plenty of energy and views. Loved the seared scallops and risotto. The crispy shrimp appetizer was as a wonderful start to a relaxing evening with a lovely view of nature. The moscato from Gervasi was a perfect way to accent our evening.

A very modern take on a classy italian restaurant! Although pricey the food was well worth it. Of particular note was the meat balls and crab cakes! I will be going back. Along with wanting to explore the patio and grounds.

Don't. Don't recommend this place because of the food. They can't really cook it. We ordered Calamari, Panco breaded walleye, and Braised beef short ribs. What was good: calamari, mushrooms from short ribs plate. Average taste: mashed potato, ribs. Horrible taste: walleye(no taste, it was no difference between their walleye and tilapia), risotto(mashed pumpkin style, how could you .ucked up risotto???), asparagus at both plated was completely overburned and empty inside. Blood orange Aperol spritz is a joke. It was served in a wine glass(half a glass) with orange skin on the top of the glass. Yes, orange skin they pilled, not a piece of orange) Service was average, the waitress was polite.

My family decided to take me to Twisted Olive for my birthday. We made reservations to possibly avoid the busy time. So this was a very disappointing meal and time! Besides waiting 90 min for our meal, it was unedable. The steak was the poorest cut of meat I have ever had. The 2 floor managers, a man and woman gave no apologies and acted as if I didn't matter. We could have gone to Burger King for a better meal!! The Managers there should work at Burger King to get better manager skills. This is a definite no return for anyone in our family. The waitress did comp my meal, but a ruined ending of a great day. I was not there for a comp meal. Thx Twisted Olive!! Oh, here is what a steak looks like when you get one here!! Half of it is unedible as the pic shows. You would think they would get better cuts of meat to charge you 38.00.

My wife has Celiac's diseases. We had the gluten free menu and we're ordering off of it. She ordered the gluten free white pizza. They gave her a regular one. She ate a few slices before she realized. She vomited the whole night. It's is a great atmosphere, however, I cannot recommend a resteraunt that messes up someone's dietary restrictions, especially when they tell them multiple times.

  • 3/5 Christopher J. 3 years ago on Google
The tiramisu is not always cooked properly and results in it tasting like it came from the frozen section, the molten hot cake (their version of a hot lava cake) has a very doughy texture, and the servers are not always around to check on you to see if you need anything.

Service was average, not exactly what you'd expect from a supposedly higher-end restaurant. I ordered scallops/sea food/lobster pasta. While the scallops were good, the pasta was dry and barely had any sauce or other veggies in it. Definitely not worth the expense. The brussel sprouts appetizer was very good, but the starter salad had much to be desired. Very little ingredients. Beautiful setting, but overall sub-par dining experience. Probably would recommend other dining establishments for better service and quality of food.

I usually love this place but after dinner with my wife and parents last night, I don't know when we will return. I spent $50 for a so called "14oz Prime Delmonico" steak done up Oscar style and I got was, what I can best describe as, an Applebee's $9.99 strip steak special. No way it was prime, no way was it 14oz, and no way did the chef know what medium rare was. It seems like this place only knows how to make drinks anymore. Completely unacceptable to pay over $150 for a dinner and be so thoroughly disappointed.

The food was excellent as was the service. We ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts (a generous portion and fantastic), a chopped wedge salad with grilled chicken (I requested the fig balsamic vinaigrette on the side instead of the buttermilk emulsion dressing and it was delicious!) The salad was HUGE, enough to bring some home, a trip of Italian meatballs and our waitress brought a basket of rolls and butter. Lynn was our waitress and she was fabulous: attentive, personable, had wonderful suggestions and boxed up what we couldn't finish. We can't wait to return when we can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Sorry I forgot to take photos.

This place is excellent! What a fantastic addition to the Gervasi Legacy! The service was decent, attentive for sure. The food came out quickly and was beyond ahhhmazing! Priced accordingly with nice, balanced portions. The flavors incorporated are built to serve, tantalize, and impress the taste buds! The atmosphere is welcoming and calm. The artwork is fantastic. Each dining room, and area within, seems to change and offer a different experience in each. We tried the wine, lots of each food grouping and the desserts. Nothing was sub par by any means. This could be great for date night or night out with the fam or even group fun outings. Thanks so much, we will be back and will highly recommend!

This place is absolutely fantastic. I will start with the bad because there is not much of it. The hostesses who greeted us were a bit pretentious. They were busy whispering and giggling to each other while customers were waiting well past there reservation times. Our reservation was at 6pm and we didn't get seated until 640pm while other customers seemed to be seated ahead of us and their reservations were after ours! Also, if you are going to require that your customers wait you should provide adequate seating arrangements as opposed to making them stand. Having said all of that I must say that the dining experience was well worth the wait. The good. Man, the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The cocktails were tasty and beautiful too! Our server, Danielle was WONDERFUL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND WASN'T SHY ABOUT GIVING US HER OPINIONS ABOUT THE DISHES. We loved her. The service was quick. I can't wait to experience this place when the weather gets warmer. We will be back. Go to the TWISTED OLIVE!!!

Lovely lovely place to get lunch or dinner. This cozy, yet spacious restaurant has such a nice atmosphere. We went for a lunch and our server was such a nice guy. He was knowledgeable about wine and food pairings and engaging to talk to. I didn't love my pasta but that is personal preference and yet they were more than willing to accommodate. I don't like to cause a problem so I barely said I did not like it, but he could tell and insisted I find something on the dessert menu. Their Manager is so friendly and very aware of her top notch staff and aided in such a delightful experience.
