Visited on a Sunday evening after getting a craving for seafood. Bar area was quiet with ample seating, although some plates from prior customers were still at a few otherwise empty seats. This place appears to be appealing to local regulars, families, and older couples from what I saw this visit. I settled on ordering a mule for a drink, the crab cake appetizer, the house salad with salmon, the trout with vegetable and asparagus, and a piece of cheesecake. The drink came promptly and tasted as expected even if a little heavy with the ice. The crab cakes had good balance of meat to binder and good seasoning but felt texturally soft without the crispiness at the bottom or the top. The remoulade had a nice bright taste. The salad looked and felt fresh with lightly dressed and balanced ingredients. The salmon had an appealing look, good char, and good cook throughout. (I wonder whether they could consider cooking at temperatures other than medium for patrons like me.) The trout was well seasoned but dry. The sauce had an odd taste that led me to leave it off the fish entirely. The vegetables were well cooked and not over cooked. Cheesecake tasted fine as did the accompanying raspberry sauce. Some whipped cream would have been a welcome garnish. Service was more attentive than not, and my server made sure my order was placed correctly which I appreciated. Bill totaled just under $70 before tax and tip, so I am not sure if I felt the value with this experience. I suppose I could return and focus on the salmon and the salad and veggies for a quick dinner if I were in the neighborhood.

Love love love this place, my absolute favorite! Bang bang shrimp is a must try and I assure you that you will fall in love with it if you’re a shrimp fan. We did ask them if they sell their bang bang sauce, but unfortunately they don’t! This would continue to be on the top of my favorite restaurants list.

I recently visited the restaurant this past Friday, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I went expecting an atmosphere and quality similar to that of my local diner, however, the restaurant itself was quite nice and more of a fine dining feel. Upon arrival I waited a little longer for service, they were quite busy, nothing too bad about 5-10 minutes. I was quickly met later apologetically by my server. The service itself was wonderful and my server quite nice and helpful the only reason I would give four stars rather than five was due to the wait. We were met by the manager and compensated quite fairly, both interactions were quite professional and nice. The food itself was excellent, Calamari cooked almost to perfection with an appetizing sauce as well. Along with this a sirloin steak order medium cooked exactly as it should be with creamy fresh garlic mashed potatoes. The plating was nice and clean and food very flavorful. Portion sizes are more than enough for my appetite and well worth my money. In the end I ordered a warm chocolate chip cookie, which I highly recommend, it was delicious and felt like a warm hug. My only complaint was that there was no option for ice cream to pair with. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would very highly recommend. Great thank you to all the staff and cooks there, as I will be visiting again soon.

I went there to finish up some work and have early start for my birthday. I’m very pleased with the service and food. I forgot the server name but he recommend good drink and good meal. I absolutely loved the calamari it’s super fresh and the best I had so far. The meal is very good as well but I recommend adding heavy cream for the salmon it will give it more sauce and better flavor from my experience but over all I was happy with my food and service. I’ll definitely go back when I’m back in town.

This review is only for their Social Hour menu. The Appetizers, Ahi tuna and shrimp nachos were just ok, with nachos being extra salty and tuna not mixed well with slightly soggy salad. Old fashioned , or bold fashioned , as they call it, was nothing spectacular at $15. Straight Jefferson bourbon costs $8 during social hour. Maybe, enhancing the menu with more tasty appetizers and bringing the price of cocktails by a dollar or two during social hour can bring in more diverse crowd than just local regulars.

This was a good idea in theory. We have eaten at Bonefish in Las Vegas on several occasions and loved it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Fairfax, VA location. My husband ordered crab legs w/jasmine rice and whipped garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered the creamy parmesan risotto and a Caesar salad as I was going to share the crab legs. Well the rice was dry and hard, the potatoes were brown and the crab legs were cold. And this was after they served us cream that was partially curdled. We were so disappointed 😞! The complimentary dessert was the best thing they served; key lime cake. Can't recommend this one.

Always a great, reliable, quality dining experience. Tried the coconut crush which was delicious, bang bang shrimp is always a must, consistently crunchy appetizer that also makes a great meal. Crab fries were not worth it, not much crab at all. Seabass is always amazing!
