During the start of Covid I hit the biggest mental health crisis of my life. I won’t go into the personal details but in short, I needed help. My doctor insisted I search for a therapist as soon as possible and suggested using my insurance directory to find someone quickly within my coverage plan. It took me weeks of going through the list to no avail. The numbers and facilities were always outdated or incorrect. After a month and a half I gave up, told my doctor I didn’t care anymore and I just wanted it all to stop. She didn’t accept that. Within the hour she had put in a request with LifeStance Health for help, I was assigned a therapist and had an appointment the following week. I am extremely grateful for their quick response. They had time for me even when I didn’t have time for myself. So far I have had 2 virtual sessions (once a week) and that is perfect for me. I would recommend LifeStance Health for anyone who is in crisis. They are quick, friendly and very flexible with scheduling.

I find both Asia and Darcy to be very thorough and helpful. I am hoping to find a psychologist or someone certified in talk therapy as well. I haven’t seen a therapist for over 3 years and I feel it’s an important part of the process.

YOUR WEBSITE IS FAULTY to an almost malfeasant extent. It’s accidentally two separate entities to book an appointment and your patient profile. THEN NOT ONLY THAT, but EVERYONE is always either “on the another call”, “at lunch,” or “in a meeting.” And no one calls back until you threatened legal action. So review readers, that’s the trick you must employ. Threaten. Legal. Recourse.
