Cracker Barrel is Known for its country home cooking, but it doesn’t taste like it’s from scratch. The food is ok, the service is ok, and the attached store is full of fun clothing, old time candy, home deco, and various other items. They are a little over priced IMO but make for a fun, nostalgic vibe. This particular location is right off the highway and near a couple of hotels, as is typical for a Cracker Barrel as they cater to the traveler.

Stopped on our way home from NC. It's Cracker Barrel so you know what to expect. However I was surprised at how small the cornbread biscuits were. I know everything is being downsized but they were about the size of an Oreo and the height of maybe 2 Oreos, not even enough to split to butter. Hubby did not eat his broccoli as it was overcooked. Our server never offered to refill my lemonade, was not very friendly or personable. Only there to take your order and move on. I have been to plenty of Cracker Barrel's with both great food and great staff. This was not our experience here at this location.

They've taken so much from the menu so there's nothing that was appealing for breakfast. The mocha is so strong it'll grow hair in your teeth! Wouldn't have given it 3 stars were it not for the staff being so nice. Always loved Cracker Barrel but am Highly Disappointed! Never would have thought I could ever say that but I've been proven wrong I guess.

When I got there the order was a meal short. They fixed in less than 10 minutes and I left with a free sweet tea and 2 pieces of pie. Great service from the ladies up front.

Had a rude experience with elderly gentleman because I didn't like dry cold chicken and ask if I could have fresh cooked that I would wait on it. Hewas very snappy and rude anther management came out with a great personality

Our favorite location. Always quick and exceptional service. Today especially, there was a huge traffic jam on i70 and manager Darrel refused to let the groups next us food get cold so retuned it to the kitchen and brought it out fresh for them when they were able to get here. We love to see people be well taken care of and serviced a hot meal! We don’t care about the wait times or price when service is this good!! Great job 👏

Family and I went here for Thanksgiving dinner. The staff handled our food orders with grace and got all of the orders correct. That's not an easy thing to do, and having to manage the multiple checks too. Everyone did a excellent job.

The food was amazing DUMPLINGS 😋 as the stuffed cheesecake pancakes 🥞 was so good, as my daughter loved their 🥩 and mash potatoes. The service was amazing fast and friendly they cared about our happiness cause the hostess tried to sit us in a spot I did not want and she said well honey we want you to be happy and satisfied on where you sit and eat as well, as I appreciated that. The place was amazing and the staff was kind pleasant fast and the food was hot fresh and delicious especially rolling in about 45mins before closing time I was little nervous about but as the food came out delicious. Thank you for your hard workers and kind loving caring staff all around and tell kitchen crew and cook they are amazing as well do an awesome 😎 job

Horrible management. Don’t tell someone you’re going to hire them just to lead them on for 3 weeks without giving a definitive answer. The managers at the Greenfield IN Cracker Barrel brought me in for an interview and continued to give me vague information over the span of 10 totals calls. Finally i asked a new manager on the 11th call what was going on and he told me that it’s “likely I wasn’t going to get hired”. Every time they stated they would call me at some later time and never called me a single time. If you’re not going to hire someone, just tell them no. Have the decency to tell someone no instead of leading me on. Wasted 3 weeks of my life I could have been working because they’re too scared to tell someone no. Definitely not fit to be managers for such a large brand like Cracker Barrel. Thanks Brock.

This is as American as apple pie. So many items bring back memories of years gone by and childhood. Make sure to check out the toys for a walk down memory lane. Shopping while waiting for a friend or a table makes the time waiting manageable. The food is reminiscent of Grandma's kitchen. Good ole country cooking. I have to have their turnip greens with vinegar. They temp me to peek into the kitchen to see if Grandma is cooking!

Very good rainbow trout! Our server Chloe was also very nice and talkative. Very good atmosphere. Would definitely go again if given the option.

Love this old time favorite. The manager was very pleasant and the crew working were just as Pleasant as well as informative. . I will be returning often! Hopefully as their new server!!! Pray for me folks.

Usually we enjoy Cracker Barrel but the Greenfield location failed last evening. The quality of the food was poor. I believe the muffins were old and reheated. Our waitress brought out some fresh ones when we made her aware. No one was pleased with their orders. It was just not what we have come to expect. I will give them another chance but I am disappointed.

We love sweet tea so … we gotta love Cracker Barrel! Today, it didn’t seem to busy but the server was a bit slower than normal and my wife needed to ask for a coffee refill (something that rarely happens at Cracker Barrel.) Other than that, the atmosphere is always wonderful. I think if it was a little cooler out, they would’ve had the fireplace going. But, it wasn’t needed today. We always enjoy shopping in the country store. So, as usual, we still love, Cracker Barrel.

I had breakfast for dinner. I love their pancakes and scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. I bought a nice fall top on clearance and a hooded jacket. The Christmas trees are decorated so pretty❤

Ordered food through ubereats and ordered items from the store. The food itself is good but the employees do not pay attention to what you order in the store and puts the wrong size on the order. It wouldn't be bad except the item they put in the order costs half as much as i paid. This is actually the second time they have done this. Manager doesn't seem to care they are scamming customers or of their money. Don't order any store items online. They will mess it up!!!!

Waitress was very nice. My husband's and daughter's food choices were good. However, I had the chicken fried steak and it was not very good. It reminded me of school cafeteria food.

Good food, good portions, great taste. Servers are always nice and friendly. I always seem to be seated and waited on right away. Only thing, I wish they had sausage gravy lol.

Food is never hot! The meatloaf, green beans, desert, was good, but not hot! Went back and ordered chicken fingers, they were cold and dry, like they had been setting for awhile. The green beans and Mac n cheese was also cold. It tastes like it has been setting on a cafeteria warmer.

The customer service here is great. The servers are attentive and food usually comes out hot and fast. Also, I love their craft soda selection. So if you like craft sodas, they have a VERY good selection.

While staying in the area, I went for dinner. I wasn't looking for anything special, just Cracker Barrel favorites. It appeared that everyone shows at the same time at this one which was 6PM. Having a staffing problem like most service businesses these days meant that once seated I waited about 15 minutes for someone to appear and it wasn't even my waitress but other staff was trying to fill in as needed. A shout out to them...trying to get through the dinner rush together. I had the fried chicken, hash brown casserole and green beans. The fried chicken wasn't great, probably not even considered good. Obviously it had been cooked earlier in the day and reheated for dinner. The hash brown casserole was cold. The green beans were hot and tasty. I noted around me that many had ordered the mac and cheese, and most not happy with it. The comments were that it was too cheesy. Maybe someone inadvertantly got a little too happy with the cheese when making it. Bottom line.. it's Cracker Barrel during a dinner rush so expectations always have to be tempered especially with so many staffing issues. As far as the place itself it was clean.

Absolutely terrible. Awful service the rudest waitress I have ever had in my life. We had no silverware and had to ask when it arrived had 2 spoons and no forks. Never came back to check on us and ask us how our food was or if we wanted refills. Food was cold. Very few biscuits. We thanked her several times and no response not your welcome, my pleasure nothing. She just was rude and kinda out of it.One member of our party had to ask for her sweet tea she ordered. When It arrived it wasn’t sweet, my mom told her she ordered sweet tea and she just stared at her didn’t offer to get what she ordered or make it right just continued to stare. This waitress should not be in the service industry. She just walked around aimlessly in the kitchen and played with her hair or was on her phone. I wasn’t asked how my meal was, not told thanks for coming in, or have a nice evening. There are plenty of restaurants in Greenfield with more coming, very disappointed in tonight’s service and meal. I expect more from this establishment. It used to be a pleasure to dine here. People like this will put your company out of business.
