👍 So excited to try this place out! Walking in the door the staff immediately greeted me and was super friendly. The burger was delicious and the chili cheese fries are the best I’ve had. The shakes were yummy but just a little on the thick side. Thoroughly enjoyed this vegan fast food experience and... People often mention vegan, burger, fries, burgers, cheese, good,

So excited to try this place out! Walking in the door the staff immediately greeted me and was super friendly. The burger was delicious and the chili cheese fries are the best I’ve had. The shakes were yummy but just a little on the thick side. Thoroughly enjoyed this vegan fast food experience and would recommend to everyone to try it out. When I’m back in town I’d absolutely eat here again. Really wish you’d open a Wilmington location next 🤔

Black owned vegan spot located right near uncg! Let me start off by saying I've heard nothing but good things about this place. The staff is nice and friendly and professional! The restaurant itself was clean, and they made the food to order. The "where art thou burger" was delicious even the suace that came on it was good. I typically don't rock with ketchup, but their house sauce took the burger to the next level. The fries babyyyy was so crunchy and crispy and super fresh! I tried the oreo milkshake, which was extra thick and creamy, and honestly, I couldn't finish the entire thing. The strawberry lemonade is freshly squeezed you can taste the tartness from the lemons. Overall, it is a very good, affordable vegan spot, and I will be back to try more menu items.

*Update: My first 2 experiences may have been on good days because my 3rd experience was horrible to the point where I requested a refund. The sanitation practices were terrible. I watched a young lady (who was not present during my previous encounters) put on fresh gloves, played on her dirty cell phone with the gloves and then reached her gloves into the bag of frozen fries in the freezer. While the fries cooked, she took one glove off, played on her cell phone again while leaning her face onto the other glove that was still on. When the fries were done, she put the previous dirty glove back on, retrieved the fries and dug her hand straight into the fries while holding them to be placed inside the bag. The young man cooking this day did not have his hair tied back and you could see his hair hanging directly over the food as he sang songs and played openly in the kitchen with a street jacket on (no apron or work attire). The young lady at the register took her personal phone and started video recording directly over my completed burgers. The germs! I hope things get better and better supervisor is provided because this day was hard to watch! Romeo's Vegan Burgers have the best burgers hands down!! When we arrived at the Greensboro location, we had a little trouble finding a park at the front of the restaurant so we found a parking deck around the corner that was walking distance. We were welcomed with a warm smile and excitement from the front register host. He guided us through the menu and was patient as we decided on our vegan burger choices. My husband got the Where Art Though Double and I got the Romeo Mac double, both with the Impossible patty. Both were freshly cooked and filled with so much flavor!! The Romeo Mac was actually better than a real Big Mac in my opinion. The fries were hot, fresh and seasoned very well. The house sauce that they offer paired well with the burger and fries! The oreo shake was delicious and made with almond milk. They had other options like a kale wrap, tater tots as well as vegan chocolate chip cookies for those who wanted to try something outside of burgers and fries. We did not have to wait long at all for our order. Their strawberry lemonade was very tasty and not too sweet. I've been to many vegan restaurants and Romeo's has topped all of the vegan burgers in the area in my opinion.10/10! Definitely make time to visit this vegan gem! We'll definitely be back!!

This is the BEST vegan burger joint I have eaten at! The buffalo chicken sandwich is a must - and the chocolate shake is wonderful. The house sauce is great for dipping your fries or tots! Even better than the food??? The friendliness and service of the employees. I’m going to start to look for reasons to come to Greensboro just so I can eat here with these great people! Well done!

Food and service was very pleasant. Only item I didn't care to much for was the plant based oreo milkshake... Besides that I enjoyed my visit here. I will be revisiting this business...

Ever thought that you can eat a healthier burger? Forget leaner meats like poultry and dive into Romeo's Vegan delights! Their burgers come within a variety of spices and flavor combinations well loved in a good burger. Below are three selections- Mexico Romeo's, Tobacco Road, and BBQ Bacon. Each has their own character and is seasoned to perfection. Get this, their vegan cheese and bacon have the same qualities of the animal products people can crave! We have cheese that melts and tastes great. The vegan bacon still has a great texture reminiscent of the original. However, you're not going to have any regrets because plant based foods lack cholesterol. Overall, we highly recommend Romeo's Vegan Burgers- excellent staff and food! The only thing missing is a gluten free bun option. Regardless, the restaurant deserves 5 stars for guilt free burgers !

A fun burger place that is a known Tate Street classic near the University of North Carolina Greensboro. It is a must try for vegetarians or those seeking meat alternatives- you can even choose between Impossible and Beyond Meat patties for your burgers. Short wait time, friendly staff, & delicious comfort/ American style vegetarian food.

The bbq burger, chili fries, oreo shake, and cookie were amazing. I would definitely est here the next time I'm in Greensboro. It's rather pricey for a burger spot but it was worth it.

Delicious vegan food, easily competing with McDonalds, but vegan! I was genuinely delighted by the pseudo-Big-Mac & chocolate shake. Well worth a visit!

So this is a nice place if you want some fast food and you want the assurance that everything is vegan. I think they use the impossible burger for the patty which I prefer over the beyond because it reminds me of a real burger from when I used to eat meat. The chili cheese fries were a nice addition. The shakes were also good until I realized I was probably drinking soy delicious ice cream and vanilla silk milk. There was no way to substitute the chili cheese fries for the regular tots or fries like in the combo but with a slightly higher price. Over all the food was tasty but a little on the pricey side. Would visit again but not incredibly swooned.

Absolutely fantastic burger, vegan or not. I am not a vegan but I have a dairy allergy so it’s incredibly rare for me to find a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries I can eat. Romeo’s hit the spot and then some—the Where Art Thou Burger was perfect. Husband didn’t want to order anything because he was skeptical about the vegan burger but once he saw my burger and then tried my burger he now wants to get his own next time 😅. Super happy to have this place here in Greensboro!
