This was a very important night and we literally had to wait 2 1/2 hours for our food to be served to us. The staff was very friendly and respectful and even accommodated us due to the delay of service with complimentary meals for everyone. I know a lot of places are over worked and under staffed so if you are thinking about eating in a restaurant be mindful of that. I had the fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese with a piece of cornbread on the side! Everything was hot and delicious and the cornbread grew on me it’s sweet and super thick but I definitely enjoyed it.

My guest and I decided to dine in at this restaurant. I have heard of this restaurant before, but this was my first time eating at this restaurant. I enjoyed my visit here. I like the way that this restaurant gives southern food a sense of pride and class, by way of presentation. This place doesn't have a long extensive menu. Instead, their menu focuses on core southern meals, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. They also have a ton a wine selections on the menu. For my entrée, I ordered the "Campfire Trout," without bacon. It tasted so good. I like the way that they incorporated green onions on top of my trout. My guest ordered the "skillet-fried chicken entree," which camp with grits, green beans and southern cornbread. My guest let me try some food off their entree and their grits are to die for. I've never tasted grits cooked like that before. Whenever, I visit Greensboro, NC again, I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

So had a recent trip to greensboro..I saw this place a few decent reviews. So we went to celebrate our 8th anniversary. When we arrived. The outside looked nice enough. We noticed they had outdoor seating as well. ( covered and closed in). When we walked in the atmosphere was actually very nice.. we had a reservation but it was kind of early in the night. So there was plenty of seating. The server, (alex) Was very nice. And informative. The food was brought in a decent manner. It all looked good. I had some devil eggs.. it was a first time I been to a restaurant with devil eggs so I was excited bout that. The plate I ordered was plentiful. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't cooked with soul .. if you know what I mean. But all in all it was good. The service and atmosphere mad up for alot. So I would reccomend this place for sure.

I love this place. Food was excellent. I ordered Cornmeal catfish with creamy grits, topped with bacon, and side of whipped sweet potatoes. The server Mahogany was great and attentive. Server provided excellent suggestions according my party's taste. The manager, Rose, visited the table to ensure great service and satisfaction. Both was on point. Trust me, I will return. Go check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Family outing with great food. I had the salmon , grits, macaroni and cheese. It was good with some wine. It was during Mother’s Day. It was just loud and they couldn’t hear us as well. But we returned and smooth service and great food again.

We had a wonderful evening on a busy Saturday night for our Valentines dinner. Great food, wonderful service from the hosts and all the servers. We had Grilled Salmon and a Ribeye with mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly. Try the sorbet for dessert. Very nice interior.

When I entered the restaurant, the first thing you notice is the relaxed ambiance. I ordered the New York Strip with fries and mashed potatoes and it was all delicious! My girlfriend ordered the skillet-fried chicken and it was very underwhelming. They let us replace her fried chicken free of charge. She got the Suffolk Chicken instead which she really enjoyed. Our server was very nice and accommodating.

WOW! My fiancée and I are low carb and sometimes restaurants have a hard time adjusting their menu to fit our needs however they accommodated a low carb Jambalaya with mixed veggies instead of rice. DELICIOUS food, yummy drinks, friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 recommend!

Me and my friend decided to eat dinner here. For the appetizer we had artichoke dip and fried green tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes was awesome. The artichoke dip was also great but the crackers was very salty. For the meal we had the exotic mushroom spinach grits w/ salmon and creole sauce. It was disgusting. The sauce tasted like can tomato soup and the mushrooms was tough. The grits didn’t have flavor either. We had a really good waiter by the way. After we voiced our opinions to the waiter she did tell her manager and the bill was adjusted. We left there feeling unsatisfied because of the food. I gave it 4 stars because of our waiter!

I recently visited Lucky 32 for my birthday and while it had its moments, I must admit that the overall experience fell short of my expectations. The ambiance at Lucky 32 was amazing enough, but the food lacked the wow factor that sets apart exceptional dining establishments. The service was great and our food was delivered in a timely manner. Our waitress was attentive and paid attention to detail. When it comes to the food, Lucky 32 had its highlights, but there were missed opportunities for excellence. Some dishes were enjoyable for example my dessert , but the salmon lacked the flavor and finesse I was hoping for. Even some of my party had to add salt and pepper to their food. For this to be titled “southern kitchen” it didn’t taste southern at all. It felt like the potential for greatness was there, but it didn't quite hit the mark. I also called a few weeks ago for my birthday dinner and expected to be placed in a private area or reserved area , we were placed right on the floor with everyone else. Upon finishing the meal we walked to an area of the restaurant that had a reserved sign and was more private and that’s what I was hoping for , for a birthday. While Lucky 32 has some room for improvement, it's worth noting that tastes and preferences can vary. It's possible that others may find the experience more to their liking. This restaurant didn’t stand out enough for me to return.

Taste, ambience and staff- PERFECT. If you want a place that is as beautiful as the people are nice, this is it. Fresh bread and a great list of wines without being too pricey. The collard greens had just the right amount of vinegar and the macaroni and cheese was delicious. Definitely going back!

We had another great experience on Wednesday evening! Our server was very attentive and provided wonderful service! My favorite food item was the cold cucumber soup and spinach and artichoke dip! The cucumber soup was so refreshing, just as our waiter suggested it would be! The green beans were my least favorite because they didn’t have any flavor at all, so that’s my constructive feedback.

Really enjoyed my first visit. Staff was courteous. Drinks were strong and well flavored. The short ribs and NY Strip were delicious. So were the side dishes! Music was nice. We will be returning!

the place is very beautiful, has three areas to eat: bar, an indoor and outdoor terrace (so pretty). the food is good and the plates are big. we ordered the bacon wrapper meatloaf and shrimp and grits and they both were very tasteful. the only thing that I would like to alert to foreigners is the amount of pepper: if tou dont like pepper or have some tolerance is important to say. about the service is good but it took too long to bring our drinks (they came together with the food), despite that, it was all great.

Amazing as always! The service is outstanding and you feel welcomed and catered to here. We had the fall specialty cocktails, so creative and delicious. The pecan crusted goat cheese appetizer with apple butter was divine. The fried chicken entree was delicious!

Excellent service along with excellent food. We didn’t have to wait for anything for very long even though they were fairly busy. Everyone that we interacted with from our server to the person that brought the food to the hostess, were gracious, polite and very friendly. We were visit NCAT with our daughter and decided to stop at Lucky 32 for dinner. We are certainly coming back.

The food was good but the truffle fries were amazing the portion was huge we only ate half of it so we could have room for our lunch! The server was attentive and nice as was the atmosphere. We went in the day time sobI can imagine how nice it would be for an evening out. This was our first time here we will definitely be back for a dinner and try their fried chicken that we were told was awesome.

Alex was our server! Excellent service!! We literally didn’t have to flag him down for anything! The food was amazing, nice and hot! Our glasses were never empty. Our seating was quick and the ambiance in the outside patio was so beautiful! I truly enjoyed this place, for brunch. All staff was hands on! Ipening doors and greeting us all. Loved it here! Will have to come again!

Slightly upscale family-friendly restaurant. The food was good across the board and the drink selection was on point. We had a huge group go here for thanksgiving, which is no easy task to serve and please all. This place did the trick and the service was very good. You wouldn't have known it was a full house with the amount of attentiveness the wait staff provided.

I didn’t love it but I didn’t dislike it. Service was fine, not over the top but well. Drinks were on point. We had the shrimp and artichoke dip they give you some stale plastic in the box crackers, we ended up using the bread. This dish seemed to be lacking the shrimp. The catfish however was a delight ! Good fillet, cooked to perfection. The cucumber salad and fries tasted great. The shrimp and grits, a bit runny, grits were good but the shrimp were soggy, it was decent but could have been better with a higher quality shrimp. Gulf shrimp or Argentina shrimp FTW. I’ll keep 32 on my list as they had other items I would like to try as I find my key meals there. Prices were on par and I would recommend this place to friends. Stars may change as we try it another time.

First time visiting Lucky 32 yesterday. Staff is professional and friendly. I didn't personally like what I ordered and I mentioned it to our server and she actually got me something else from the menu and Jeffrey the manager personally brought it to our table. That was incredibly nice and handled perfectly. Thank you and we'll definitely be back.

Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen was a great experience all around. The food was very good and the service was nothing but exceptional. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped meatloaf. Portions were larger than expected. My family and I were all surprised by the speed of service; our food was at the table in what seemed to be less than ten minutes! It was probably that fastest I have ever gotten food from the time of ordering at any sit-down restaurant. The server was very nice and attentive. He had a type of dry humor that made for a unique and positive experience. My sister had mentioned it was my birthday. At the end of the main course I was given a free brownie with topped vanilla ice cream, which I was not expecting. I highly recommend this place.

Jade was excellent this evening! Gave great recommendations and checked on us frequently to ensure we were satisfied. She was very attentive to us and took care of a very small situation that happened. Also we came when they were closing in 30 minutes, and we never felt rushed or that we were an inconvenience. Will return and hope she waits on us again!

The only thing worse than an under-attentive waiter is an over-attentive one. Our server Alex was annoyingly persistent and we felt rushed to do everything – order, eat, pay our bill. He “checked in” way more than was necessary and was honestly a bit creepy. The food, however, was decent, though I did think the collard greens were a bit salty and I wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce on the smothered chicken. It reminded me of jarred salsa.

I’ve been coming to L32 since I was a kid (20+ years)The food is usually great. I miss the pizza they used to have and also the roasted split chicken with the raspberry dipping sauce (taking it back to 1998 with those). All of that being said- I ordered take out this evening and got the house salad add grilled chicken. I was charged $18 ($8 for the chicken, $10 for the salad) and the grilled chicken was not a full piece and had been cut up. I just think that is ridiculous. I feel like restaurants should look out for their customers. $18 for a box of lettuce and 3oz of chicken is wrong. I could have ordered the grilled chicken entree for $19 and gotten 2 sides and a full chicken breast. Really doesn’t make any sense.

Wonderful dining experience. Servers were very professional and attentive. Atmosphere was dim and sophisticated. As an appetizer we ordered the truffle fries which were so good and so gone after we attacked them. For dinner I ordered the red wine short rib with mash potatoes and fried cabbage and my fiancé ordered the steak, mash potatoes and seasonal vegetable. The food was delicious. The drinks were super boozy and delicious! Pomegranate perception and an old fashion!

I went to Lucky 32 for my birthday Saturday 9/4 l was excited because they are known for their collard greens. I loved the okra and fried green tomatoes and the steak is pretty good but the shrimp and grits I rated a 1 they looked and tasted like instant grits, faked ham pieces and the quality and taste of the shrimp for sure I rated. My friend had the Jambalaya it dry looking and it was just not good. I say this because I was a flight attendant for 18 years and l know the difference and both entrees were not good however, the Waitress and atmosphere were excellent

We dined in for the first time in a year and were thrilled that the high standards in food preparation and in service have not suffered. Our friendly, attentive server anticipated every need. The fried chicken was super crunchy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside--a combination that's hard to come by. The banana pudding cheesecake blended two favorite desserts into a creamy indulgence. The experience could not have been better.

We were a party of 7. All we can say is - it was delicious…. Everything was amazing, hot, tender; we all had different items and it was great. Staff was friendly and quickly refilled our drinks. Great recommendations by staff for wine.
