Restaurant Asian fusion restaurant

👍 As its name suggests, this counter service restaurant serves up a broad menu of rice, salad, noodle bowls, Chinese baos, hibachi, burritos, and quesadillas with your choice of fillings. We tried bowls with the Thai chicken, which was small cuts of seasoned meat, and the Kari chicken, which was like... People often mention good, rice, bowl,

The food was absolutely tasty and affordable. The prices weren’t too far up there and you can get your food without having to wait for a long time. Their bubble tea is decent but they’re rice bowls are really good. I would definitely come here again because it’s convenient and yummy.

As its name suggests, this counter service restaurant serves up a broad menu of rice, salad, noodle bowls, Chinese baos, hibachi, burritos, and quesadillas with your choice of fillings. We tried bowls with the Thai chicken, which was small cuts of seasoned meat, and the Kari chicken, which was like tempura Chicken bites. For the same price $8.50-$8.75, the bowls were definitely better values than the kimchee noodle bowl, which had egg and cheese, but no other protein and the noodles seemed like instant ramen. The "spicy Korean soup" that came with it was too spicy to drink and also seemed suspiciously like it came from instant ramen. The tapioca boba in the bubble milk teas were too soft. Maybe they're better earlier in the day. The red bean milk tea was too sweet and tasted artificial.

The food is good but very disappointing that the store does not follow listed store hours. The listed hours for today (Thursday) were from 11-10:30pm. I walked up at 9:42 and the chairs were on the tables and door was locked with no sign indicating an early closure. I drove 20 minutes and was very disappointed when I got here. The people inside appeared to hide behind the counter as I walked up. Sounds like they don't want the business...

We came here for the Bao and all of the options sounded good. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. The buns were a perfect texture and the fillings were full of flavor and decently portioned. We will be back.

First time I ordered here a few months back the food was incredible, but today I ordered 2 egg rolls with my meal and they were undercooked, second layer of the roll was raw, and everything inside was wet and runny. I called and the manager was very nice and offered to give me 2 for free delivered to my address, however those weren’t much better, still very undercooked. 3/5 because their main courses are very good and I appreciated the attempt to solve the problem. But I definitely wouldn’t recommend the egg rolls here. I added pictures where you can see how wet and raw the inside is. First 2 pics are first order, 3rd pic was when they delivered them to me again.

A very good restaurant serving up Asian flare. Meals were packed with food. Really liked the eel dish; it was nicely seasoned. Lots of eel and rice, felt good about that. The pork bao was so good. Loved the sweet bun and tasteful pork. Grilled perfectly. Throw on a fried egg.. and bam, ties it all together.

I paid 😤7$ for EXTRA STEAK! And If I hadn't checked my bag, it would not have been a good day for them. If a RECEIPT says something SPECIFIC especially when MY MONEY is concerned I expect to get what I'm paying for. Im taking a break from there, again. I suggest ALL customers check your food before walking out, especially at the inflated price of food these days. And thats not just for this restaurant; ALL RESTAURANTS! Nevertheless, I got my food and it was hot and satisfying😊

Great food, best Japanese food on campus imo. Expensive yes but a woman I believe is the owner or manager went out of her way last semester to show me how to order my favorite meal in a way that would save me money. Employees have never been anything less than great to me

I came in for the taco baos, but their ok. The bread isn't homemade and it's a little on the thick side. All of the taco baos are bland. They need a little bit of something in them to create a distinctive flavor. I also had some wings too, and they were good. Service was 👍good. I would have to comeback and try out the other dishes on the menu.

This establishment should be ashamed if itself…way too overpriced for the servings it gives. Spent almost $20 for a salmon poke bowl. Took forever to be served, and when asked for a different sauce they acted very stingy . They are located on UNCG campus so they are targeting school students. Appalling

I really enjoy eating food from Happy Bowl. The portion sizes are good, the food is always hot and tasty, and there are plenty of options to choose from. The service is great. The staff serve the food in a timely manner, and they are very friendly. I Love eating the Tankotsu Ramen. Just a heads up, the ramen takes longer to make than the bowl options. This means if you want to eat right a way get a bowl instead of a ramen. Regardless whether you get ramen, a bowl, bao, etc. The food always taste great.

The food here is always fresh and made to order. The owner is very much apart of the day to day operations and it is very evident in the quality of food produced and service provided. One of my favorite places in Greensboro and on uncg campus.

I've had poke at many restaurants around the country...this is not authentic and more of a rice bowl since it was 90% full of rice. The avocado was turning black and the salmon had an odd flavor. Nothing about this meal was memorable. If you enjoy good poke this is not the place.

The kimchi noodles were typical "student fare", as in the kind of food a poor college student would make. The spring rolls were simply bad, old, and dry. The vegetable gyoza were good, though.

The food is good, and the price of it is only slightly higher than I’d like. It definitely beats most other places around the UNCG campus. They are however consistently stingy on the vegetables and the drinks are a straight up scam. I wish they’d add a menu option to add extra vegetables to their bowls.

My first time here and the food was trash! Should have not wasted my precious lunch break. Got the Thai crispy chicken. The chicken taste funny and so did the rice. I asked for sauce to mask the taste but of course you have to pay extra 🙄 nope want be coming back. Your welcome!
