I don’t normally like to leave negative reviews, but I had a bad experience and I think other people should be aware. I came here because it was in-network with my insurance. It was my first visit to a dentist in 13 years after being uninsured. My cleaning and initial consultation seemed to go well, but the second time I came in (for 3 fillings), they lost my paperwork so I had to fill it out again. No biggie, but then I waited for over an hour because the doctor had an emergency appointment. I can understand that to a point, but I took time off work; I should’ve asked them to reschedule. The doctor came in to do my fillings and the first one took much longer than expected – it was the end of the day and they asked me to come back for the second 2. My bite was off but I couldn’t tell if it was just the numbing effects. Over the next week, I kept waking up clenching my teeth. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and had my x-rays transferred; I didn’t realize it, but the x-rays from Carolina Smiles didn’t include all my teeth, or the full shot of the roots. I had to get all new x-rays, and my new dentist did a much more thorough exam. It’s 2 months later and my filling from Carolina Smiles has already popped off – I’m getting it redone at my new dentist. I’m leaving 2 stars because the dental hygienist who did my cleaning was so nice, and so was the one who assisted with my filling. I expected to have to do a lot of work after 13 years without a cleaning, but having to pay double for x-rays, redo my filling after 2 months, repeatedly take time off work, and pay out of pocket is a real bummer.

This is the one! If you nervous for your appointment or to make one, Don’t be. I was so scared for my wisdom extraction but honestly they really know what they doing and show you all your options, very detailed with their care. Id trust them any day. From little ones to adults they are great and everyone so friendly and welcoming.

This Place is a joke they quote you service that is covered under your insurance and file it a different way so it's then not so you owe them. I asked several times for them to resend they did in October I heard nothing from them ,while I forgot about it I have had several other health issues received nothing in the mail and today I receive a phone call from a collection agency for a bill that was originally under my insurance so they said. I will pay the bill but I WILL NOT GO BACK........... Conversation with accounting was rude do you all need to send people to collections whom have always paid in the office if there was a bill left over at any service,. I will not be back and I will not recommend your office to ANYONE. VERY SAD....

I lost a crown and cracked a tooth. New to the State and to this dental group, Called them and they fit me in that day to look at the tooth. They also said they Could do a cleaning that day and I was over due. Due to losing my crown, issues under it, said that what tooth I had left was no longer salvageable. They put me on wait list to have my tooth extracted. Called me back that day and got me in. They were all very nice, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. The dentist who extracted my tooth was the most personable dentist I have ever had! Made me feel super comfortable.

I always have a good experience with Carolina Smiles. I had a dental emergency late in the evening and I was given sound advice on what to do until morning. They were able to work me in early the very next morning and took care of my needs and I have been doing well!

This place really busy cant get appointment to extract my wisdom tooth I been waiting over 2 months. Every time get message only 5 minutes respond it the spot already taken by some one. Just do not know how this place to maintain good customer service and earn 5 star if the patient can get a chance to make an appointment.

I have been going here for a long time and I am very pleased with the service I have been receiving so far. Everyone is so polite and courteous. I will continue to come here in the future and I recommend them to everyone looking for a dental office.
