I ate here recently and was very pleased. I love salsa and unfortunately most places don’t have a good salsa. Taco Mama definitely does. After ordering and paying at the counter, the food took less than 10 mins to hit our table and everything was to our liking. Will be back

I love this place! People are always so nice, the food is delicious and just the right quantity. Order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. The front of the restaurant is screened in so on a warm breezy day it’s a nice treat.

Had a long line when we arrived which moved very quick, the food came out very fast and each of the 3 tacos I got came out loaded and everything tasted very fresh. Also had the watermelon margarita and was incredible!

The tacos, steak burrito, chips and questions were awesome. Best Tex-Mex I've had in a while.

Taco mama? More like"taste like Mama's" Decided on a whim to venture into the lovely adjoining string of restaurants that sit next to LawndalexBattleground and really had a hankering for some tacos, so to Taco Mama's we went! To say I was astonished at the sheer size of the interior of the restaurant would be an understatement. This place is huge! Loads of tables, lots of leg room and a huge menu over the order area/small hand out menus when you come in. The place was packed with a handful of tables remaining but we had a minute to wait in line and look over the menu and make our choice. The 1st surprise came when a waiting personnel came to us in line and asked if we would like a margarita while we waited and of course we said yes. I ordered the seasonal Blood Orange Marg, and she the skinny (low carb) Marg. The blood Orange Marg was absolutely a HIT with it's citrus tones and sweet flavor. The skinny was a standard Marg but made with a low sugar simple syrup. We ordered, waited and vibed at a table that had now become open while waiting and seen the efficiency of the staff. No one needed to leave their seats for anything. You were waited on nonstop for any need. When our food was served, the spread caused our eyes to relay to our stomach, "aye chief, it's friggin go time". The chips were delicate yet crunchy, the salsa fresh and flavorful, the Mexican Mac and cheese mild yet scrumptious, and the burrito was pretty damn good. I won't lie, I was a little lit from the margarita and dos Equis and was just thoroughly enjoying our meals. Take a peek at the pics, I'm still a little lit but had an absolute wonderful time. This is going to become a new after work hangout lol.

Small, clean restaurant in a small strip-style center. Order and pay at the register. They bring the food to your table. Self-serve soda machine. Prices are decent. The food is good for being in Virginia. (I lived in California, where the mexican food was delicious.) Service was good. Interesting decor. Clean restrooms. Rock music was just a bit too loud for my taste. (I like rock. I think I'm getting old and cranky, 😄) Overall, a positive experience.

My daughter told me I needed to try this place so we we're in the area and stopped in. It's a very quaint place if you will in small but it accommodates how busy they are very well considering. When you walk in you can grab a paper menu, you then stand in line and decide what you want. There are certain things that come with free salsa and chips and a free side this is what we chose to get. I had the burrito and my daughter had the quesadilla. When you order they give you a number and based on how busy they were I was pleasantly surprised on how quick you receive your food. I thought the food was very good and I would definitely go back.

This is our go to spot for awesome tacos! This business is usually busy so parking in front of this establishment is limited. You build your own tacos! Whatever you can imagine. They have great drinks and the employees are very attentive to your needs. Worth a visit and check out the online menu for the details.

I’ve eaten A LOT of Mexican food in my life, and I gotta say I was pretty disappointed with my burrito last night. First off let me say the staff was very friendly. They did they’re job well. My Judge burrito was a different story though. The chicken was sooooo salty. I don’t know if that’s the way it usually is or if I just got a batch that was way over seasoned. My second issue was how soggy the burrito was. It was dripping with water and basically fell apart, and I had to eat it with a fork. I think it was from the black beans not being properly drained. Properly drained beans is burrito 101. I feel like this place is more concerned with the vibe of the restaurant then the food. Such a bummer for someone who loves Mexican food like I do.

After eating here over a dozen times since Taco Mama opened I can say I have never had something I didnt enjoy. Eating in amplifies the expereince as the service and portions make it worth every penny. I love the personal costumization options, allowing even picky eaters to enjoy. My go to meals are nachos or salad! O and lets not forget the amazing chips and salsa.

Awesome pomegranate margarita and shrimp tacos at a very affordable price. Great vibe and super friendly service.

After having a bad experience from our favorite taco truck...we ventured out. Awesome experience. Was greeted at the door, was recommended to try what he liked and he did not disappoint. Very knowledgeable about the menu and you got well over the money's worth. This will be our new place to visit! Dont be scared by the price remember you get what you pay for, and it was well worth every penny!

Wow! What a great place. The inside style is very impressive at setting the mood for your meal and the meal does not dissapoint. A lot of food and menu options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even gave us fresh chips to take with out leftovers. A place I will recommend and be visiting again!

We ordered to take out. When we arrived home and open the containers we were so dissapointed. It was mostly chips. The tacos barely had any meat. The build your own beef nachos chips and beans were not good. The steak burrito is small. The complete order is not worth the 70 dlls that we paid for.. please check your pickup food before leaving the place.. especially when you pay over 60 dlls for food and the contents weigh a pound or less. Please know you will be eating chips with some vegies and small thing slices of "beef".

The food was ok. The service was impeccable the young lady that waited on me was patient and knowledgeable.

This is a great place for tacos and burritos. They season well and the food has fresh, vibrant flavor. Only reason food doesn't get 5 stars is due to one of the burritos only had 4 small pieces of steak but the other 2 we ordered were packed. I was surprised how good the margaritas were. The seating is well arranged, feels like communal seating by the bench which lends itself to interacting with other patrons. Overall great place. Would definitely recommend.

Food was delicious and the Margaritas were good as well. They have a nice selection or you can pretty much build your meal how u want… will be back.

Enjoyable early dinner with my daughter. The chalk menu on the wall is great, but grab a paper menu for more info and prices. I had the ahi tuna tacos and my daughter had the chorizo. Both were well filled, tasty and satisfying. Chips were fresh and salsa light and crisp. The aioli for the tuna was very good, nice and flavorful. Not long after we started eating, the line grew to the door. This place is busy for a reason. No shortage of seating. Cold beer options. Great food. What’s not to like?

Short story: Go eat here. Eat all your meals here. Long story: You enter the establishment, seat yourself, you get in line, order your food, you sit down and the food shows up. Pretty standard. However, the food is so delicious it still haunts my dreams. The cocktails were delicious as well. La Playa was my favorite margarita. I can’t sing the songs of praise for this place lore than I have. This is a great spot to unwind after work or with a group of friends. If I lived in Greensboro I would go here every day. Sadly I was only in town for work a couple days. The staff is friendly, the food is great, the vibe is casual and delightful. What more could one ask for??

Placed order and food arrived as guest and I arrived at the table. Nobody ever approached tavle to check up on us. Nobody greeted us as we entered. Other than that everything was wonderful. Employees stayed busy. Restaurant was clean and spacious. Business was steady and moderate. I would go again.

Great business. Had a small problem the last time I was there but nothing notable and they went out of their way to fix it. The food is phenomenal and the drinks are as well. Would recommend to friends

Food was fresh and delicious. Chips were really well executed and fresh. If they could manage the ordering process just a bit better it would be 5 star. Food & beverages were top notch. Cooks kept a clean line and management presence on the floor was positive. Bar staff getting people drinks while waiting in line was a nice touch. We will definitely return to get that 5 star food.

Food is very bland, the employee's are great and the atmosphere is great. I ordered the marinated chicken tacos. I'm not sure what they marinate it in but the flavor was very plain. My wife ordered the steak tacos, again just cooked chunks of flank steak. Very little flavor. This place has so much more to offer, they just need to get into the flavor game.

Service was good, the atmosphere was good and the pomegranate margarita was the bomb! We had ordered the steak burrito and you add whichever topping you like. The burrito was okay, but the steak was very bland, I believe the chicken would have tasted better.

First time here- so good! The Justice is Served taco (with shrimp) and Cheezy Beef taco were both incredible. Marg was delicious too. We’ll be back ☺️😋

Whew!!! The margaritas here are NO joke! 😋 Superrr tasty. The food was okay. I ordered the quesadilla (it was a bit too greasy for my taste) Next time I will stick with tacos. 🌮 But babyyyyy the drinks are great! Definitely a must visit for happy hour! ☺️😋💃
