We stayed here while in town for a gymnastics competition. The hotel was very nice. The staff was very welcoming and always polite! The only negative was I had to go ask for towels from the pool. But on my way back there was someone stacking it back up! The shampoo was also empty in the shower but I had my own and forgot to let them know on my way out. The room was very clean. We got a king bed and a pull out sofa. You could tell the sofa had been attended to with clean sheets and made up. The small fridge was cold and there were plenty of light options in the room! The pool was open which was nice and clean. Breakfast was great! I love their cinnamon rolls. They also had potatoes which I don’t usually see at the Holiday Inns. That was a plus! Great place to stay!

Would give 10 stars! The staff was amazing, the two gentlemen at the desk were wonderful. The breakfast ladies went above and beyond. It was like they knew us personally and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and i wanted to take this bed home. All of us did the most comfortable bed ever! Will be staying there from now on when we go to Greenville.

I was here for business for three days and couldn’t have picked a better place. I’ve stayed in a number of hotels around the country Hilton, Radisson and other five-star hotels. I didn’t need to spend that kind of money in those places to have nicer accoutrements. Staying here was clean, safe and with a very helpful staff. The manager was very attentive in providing what I needed for my business needs. The staff at breakfast was always very friendly and helpful. We were offered complimentary bottled water at the front desk every day, which we took advantage of gratefully. The rooms have very nice finishes and are clean. The work area is also very accommodating. The room darkening shades were especially effective to allow us to sleep according to our time zone. I would stay here any time I come to this region.

Everything looked really clean (minus 2 hairs in bathtub). I liked the shampoo and soaps attached to shower wall, very nice touch. Good water pressure! Lots of storage for luggage Nice indoor pool area with plenty of pool towels Updated fixtures and modern style rooms Close to downtown Springs on the right side of one full sized bed dug into my back - they were lopsided! So we used the other full sized bed. No batteries in remote, so we got batteries from front desk, but remote still didn't work! No channel guide for tv, which we would have benefitted from. Breakfast was actually really nice! Lots of options (yogurt, pancakes, cereal, eggs, biscuits, muffins, etc.) We had an overall nice stay, would stay again!

Disappointing stay! First we used quite a bit of our points to stay at this hotel for a free night and it was not worth it. First the room - the carpets were so stained everywhere, the entry floor was so sticky, the toilet paper holder was broken, they didn’t give us enough towels, the bottom of the tub was so scratched up and rough (it looked like someone tried to scrape off the bottom) and lastly they are lying about the JR Watkins soap provided. That was not filled with the JR Watkins body wash, shampoo or conditioner- this is false advertising and can cause allergic reactions! But one big gross No No - a long black hair in the sheets! So gross! Breakfast was meh - had better in other Holiday Inn Express hotels. The halls and elevator were dirty and didn’t look like anyone cleaned at all overnight or morning. I talked to the manager the next day and he didn’t seem too concerned so I just stopped sharing because he didn’t seem to care. I enjoyed staying at IHG hotels but now I am definitely second guessing that! Spend your money and points somewhere else!

Definitely would recommend a stay here ! Staff was very polite, facility was very clean, and their breakfast was, hands down, the best we’ve ever had ! Pump soap in the shower was very nice and beds were comfy. I incurred a problem at check-in, having booked through Priceline, and worked with Tom at Holiday Inn Express, to get the problem resolved, to my satisfaction. Great place to stop overnight ! Would use them again !

Amazing staff at front desk and management. Breakfast staff also. All were incredibly helpful, accommodating and polite. The initial appearance of the outside was eye appealing and so was the lobby , hallways and breakfast area. Even the pool area was kept very clean. I learned that the property dates back to the 80’s but EVERYTHING, including our room and bathroom seemed much newer and updated. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance and the pool allowed me to do a complete aqua therapy session . So important to me. From check in to check out the next day , it was a great stay. Kudos to the management team and great staff. : Tom, Chris and Olive at the desk and the most pleasant and cheerful, hardworking gals at breakfast. They surely deserve a little extra. Thanks **. I wonder if I misunderstood the dates the lovely overnight front desk woman told me . Nice conversation all the same. And yes , we do plan to return next time in the area

If you're traveling and lay over in Greenville South Carolina or are just visiting the area this is a fabulous place to stay not only were the rooms clean and comfortable but it had one of the best staffs and management I've ever experienced not only courteous, friendly and helpful but willing to go above and beyond. We were already hours away when I realized I had forgotten three of my prescription medication and other personal items when we had checked out, time and distance didn't allow to return for what I considered would be a useless attempt to retrieve them figuring housekeeping had already discarded them along with the trash. So my rushed to be on the road putting miles behind us had cost me over $400 worth of very expensive medication and other personal items but to my surprise we received a call the following day from the hotel saying that my medication and personal items had been found by housekeeping and they would be mailing them to me... Really, during a time when everywhere you look help wanted signs decorate businesses and many of the people filling those positions seen to care little if any about the quality of their work or the overall professionalism with which they present themselves with the management and staff of this hotel shine brightly as they go above an beyond what we have grown to expect.

I was extremely disappointed in my stay here. First of all, we were given the wrong type of room (we reserved a king room and received two queens). That was corrected, so we appreciated that. We did have to wait for rooms to get ready, but the wait wasn’t too long. There was a debacle with the key not working, but they corrected that and even sent a hotel staff member with me to make sure we could get into the room. However—things went downhill from there. Someone tried to break in our room and kept trying to open the door. They said they were part of the hotel staff and they apologized for “being told the wrong room” (not sure what that was about). Then, we received a call from the front desk asking what our name was and we were told there was a “glitch in the system.” Fast-forward to the next morning—my husband went out to our car to get something and the key card had already been deactivated. Also—someone next door to us was having a party and didn’t quiet down until early the next morning. I have a 4-month-old baby and he had a very hard time sleeping because of the noise. I did contact the front desk around 11:30 that night and they said they’d send security. The music stopped shortly after, but the people proceeded to talk very loudly until late into the night. Usually, my stay at a Holiday Inn Express has been great. But this time, my family and I were very disappointed.

Welcoming friendly staff especially dining room attendant's. Suggest providing welcome home IHG guest gifts. Make them feel appreciated by saying thank you. Attended grad party over the weekend it was awesome. Save money book party venue in advance you'll love it.

Wonderful staff. I went for an early check in. They couldn't get a room ready for me so they upgraded me to a suite. I was surprised and in awe when I saw the room. A Clean, fresh smelling room. The hot breakfast was terrific as well. When I return to South Carolina from Pennsylvania again in a few months this is where I will stay!

Our stay here was great. It was quiet and every staff member we encountered was so friendly and kind. I’d like to give super extra praise to the 2 breakfast ladies that were working 9/9/2023 and 9/10/2023. I didn’t get their names but man, they were THE BEST! Made everyone feel like family all while keeping everything stocked and tidy. I’ve never felt more at home when staying at a hotel. We will certainly be staying here again and I hope those 2 sweet breakfast ladies will still be there.

I travel quite a lot and I stay with different hotel chains. I chose this Holiday Inn Express for it's location. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, with several restaurants within walking distance. You can toss back a few and walk back to the hotel. Breakfast is self-serve, there is a large selection to choose from. From pancakes made in minutes, sweet breakfast buns, sausage, eggs, or omelets, and a variety of breads for toast. There is yogurt, fresh fruit, and a juice dispenser. You'll walk away from a hearty breakfast feeling satisfied.
