Attended a symposium here, and I must say the place is a perfect fit for business purposes. The location is very calm and silent, it has that elegant feel that Marriott is known for. I had a pleasant experience here. I would highly recommend if you are planning a conference in Greenville area, you've got this place with all the facilities.

Overall this Marriott met my expectations. Everyone was very friendly and service was very good. The shuttle driver, Warren was very helpful along with Denis, the caterer. Breakfast was excellent. Terri, who helped assist in my event planning was very nice and Jennifer at the bar did an excellent job serving my guest during the 3 day event. The rooms are starting to get dated and are average. They need some updating attention. HVAC was not working when I arrived to my room and I had to call the front desk. They had to adjust something - seems like my room would have been better prepared. I do like my coffee in the room in the morning and was disappointed with what was offered. No bottled water in the room other than a $6 bottle that seemed overpriced. Coffee creamer available was out of date / spoiled, so that was definitely disappointing. Overall the 4 rating is a little stretch only because of the room.

Rooms had weird stains on the pillows, the shower head was chugging along at half strength, the room had horrible air flow to keep the room cool. Also whomever remodeled the 2nd floor up...I feel like they stopped after the first floor and gave up caring about the customers from the 2nd floor up.

My edit for marriot: As I said, there was no place to put the wet soap once I washed my hands. It would be nice to have a spot around the sink to place the soap. It was sliding around the sink counter, getting everything wet and soapy. The only place to put it was in the shower, but I don't wash my hands in the shower. As for hooks, a small place to place your small washcloth would be nice. Again, the only place to hang anything is in the shower. Kinda inconvenient, especially if someone else is using the shower I want to emphasize that the staff were great, efficient, and friendly .

I had an excellent stay at the Greenville Marriott. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was immaculate, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows, which made for a fantastic night's sleep. Overall, I highly recommend the Greenville Marriott for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area.

We stayed here due to the proximity to the BMW Performance Driving School. Staff was top notch and the Artisan Restaurant served creative and delicious food! The rooms were just average but the staff and food made up for it. They also had a decent gym. Nice and clean with some cardio equipment and weights. We loved that they had an EV charging station on site. If your intent is to go to BMW this is the place to stay!

The hotel is a scam, host told me the breakfast was included with the room number I was in, well it was not, and the breakfast was horrible, don't eat the sausage, I'm still paying for it days later. This hotel looks great on the serface, but it's a dump. Microwave in room didn't not work, beds are horrible, better beds at a Red Roof Inn.

Great location to spend the night. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. I love staying in business districts because everything is so conveniently close by and generally it's it's always a great neighborhood.

Hotel was booked with no vacancy for the conference that was in town so I was unable to move rooms when mine had a musty aroma. Issue at the front desk with billing upon arrival was fixed by the time I checked out. Staff in all positions were friendly and courteous.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. They put out so much effort and are so kind. I am beyond impressed. Every staff member was helpful! I would definitely go back!

Posting 4 stars because the hallway on floor 5 smelled like sweaty armpit. It wasn’t a subtle smell. It smacked you in the face as soon as you got out of the elevator. Other than that, it was great. I liked how housekeeping came everyday.

Marriott's used to be very good hotel and had great service above and beyond, but this hotel was bad from the beginning. I reserved a king bed and the front check in - not caring person, gave me a double bed room, did not say anything. I went to the room, called back and said, I reserved a king bed. He gave me a line "oh, we take in more reservations than we have rooms" was his excuse. I told him, I am not paying for something when I did not reserve it. The front desk really does not care. BTW - if you try to use the guest internet, - it fails and says unstable site. I clicked off since i did not want to use it, but it charged me for the 2 days that i stayed. I could not even log in. The front desk, told me, that i should have known to call them to tell them, that i could not connect to the internet. Where did the high standards of the Marriott go?

The room was nice, the Jacuzzi tub jets did not work, the room was lacking a microwave, and the restaurant double charged my room for 2 entrees that paid cash for. But it is a beautiful place and there were plenty of towels and the king bed slept really well.

This is our go to hotel when we visit Greenville. Admittedly I'm a big fan of the Marriott brand and their high standards. Built in the late 80s, it has been well maintained and regularly updated. I love the entrance, the big lobby and the pool. Rooms are quiet and comfortable with excellent bedding. You've also got a full service restaurant, bar and fitness facility. The staff is friendly and professional! Again, another reason to favor Marriott.

Pretty average hotel. Carlos works the front desk like a true professional. Outrageous dining prices, compared to other higher level hotels. Decent parking. Safe environment. Dated rooms, this place is ready for a remodel.

I stayed with a group of friends while we were participating in training at the BMW Rider Academy. The Marriott was the perfect place to stay! Great rooms, outstanding staff from front-desk to barkeep to restaurant staff. Great shuttle service with super nice and flexible drivers. Great restaurant, great breakfast. We'll be back!

Nice older Marriott. Second time we have stayed here. Our room is always clean and has what we need. The pool is an outdoor one and is open year round from what I was informed. The staff was very friendly upon check in. We had paid for the breakfast and didn't get to use it unfortunately due to a change in our schedule. Unfortunately, if you aren't platinum or higher, you lose out & won't get points for that. Other than that, it was good for the price overall for what was supposedly a busy weekend. I do wish they included the desserts on the weekend, we have yet to experience that and thought for some reason when we booked it would be available.

Update: more than a month later and the manager, Bryan Crown or Marion Brayboy, refuses to address the issues presented below or refer me to their regional manager. Hard to even know who the manager is as Bryan Crown is sending emails from Marion Brayboy's marriot account. This is Marriot style costumer service? What a clown show. AVOID THIS PLACE. Doesn't matter if you reserve a specific room, they'll give you something else when you check in. Restaurant is sub-par, dirty carpets, dirty silverware, low quality meat and ingredients. The elevator even broke, and stayed broken, while we there. Book your room somewhere else, this place may be a Marriott, but you'll get better rooms and service from a motel 6 than here. Edit: I received a faster non response from their manager on Google reviews than via email, but still the manager refuses to provide me with their regional manager's information to better facilitate my complaints about their service and their hotel. Just goes to show how terrible their customer service really is. TLDR: stay away from this Marriott, book somewhere else.

The staff was exceptional. This facility is not up to Marriott's typical standards. The room was comfortable and clean, but it was quite dated..

Rooms were big and I was able to work from my room before my flight. My issue was with cleanliness. They only clean rooms every other day (a growing trend in the industry), but even after my room was serviced, it was still dirty. The floors and countertops were not clean.

Son & I attended BMW M Performance Driving School and stayed here. Great breakfast buffet & omelets. Friendly bar for sharing the day's exploits. Looking forward to next time!

Attended a Continuing Education Experience for Pharmacy and this venue was great. Acoustics we're excellent and plenty of water fountains and restrooms! I knew exactly where it was located, on The Parkway, as I was Pharmacy Manager at the Publix on the Parkway. Perfect place for a meeting!

Not the full service quality I am most used to with Marriott. Needs an update. Toilet ran- had to jiggle handle for it to stop. Breakfast buffet good. Staff nice. No ice cream anywhere on the property!!

Clean, tastefully furnished and decorated room. The only negative was a 100% blocked sink which meant brushing teeth in the shower - not very convenient - hence just 4 stars. A good breakfast was offered although I didn't eat too much since usually I don't eat breakfast. Hotel staff was top notch. This hotel is closely affiliated with the BMW plant in nearby Spartanburg so lots of their staff and customers staying. They have an impressive array of BMW vehicles for picking up/dropping off guests. My favorite memory was chilling with my wife and daughter in the very comfortable and relaxing gazebo by the pool. With Spring springing, the surrounding plants and shrubs blossoming/blooming, air temps in the high 60s and noone else in the area it was most relaxing and very special.

The room was comfortable. In unit A/C. Also had a sink area separate from the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. They had made to order omelets, and it's one of the first places I have seen with craisins (cranberry raisins) to put in your oatmeal. They also had 6 different fruits including pineapple and cantaloupe. Good coffee, tasted like it was probably Lavazza. It was a mid level hotel type place. Not too fancy but definitely not a motel. The front lobby area is huge and looks impressive. One could bring their laptop down and have a nice area to just sit in.

This was a beautiful hotel and so nice. The pool in particular the day I went was absolutely lovely with very few people in it so nice and relaxing and sunny with towels provided at the pool. The restaurant was absolutely delicious and worked with my dietary restrictions.
