Absolutely gorgeous park that brings the city together as it shows the harmonious symbioticness between the river falls and skyscrapers. The extensive walking path purposely weaves everyone through the landscape with great views of the waterfall. The Liberty Bridge politely calls attention to its engineering marvel. What a great place to spend an afternoon people watching and soaking up the city vibe. Also a great place to take the pets!

This place is so beautiful. My family was absolutely amazed to experience the falls in the middle of downtown. We took a few trails( woody, narrow stairs, bugs) that led to one exploration after another(Spill the Beans coffee has great ice cream. The Grand Bohemian very picturesque, and Gather has a ton of food options in a covered outdoor fun atmosphere) The Falls Park is really cool. You definitely need walking shoes!

Busy on a Saturday afternoon we found one parking space four blocks away. As we got closer there was a wonderful floral scent that grew stronger as we got closer to the park. Lots of restaurants and shops line the street leading to the park. Beautiful falls and walkway gardens surrounding the park. A three bathroom stall ( very tiny for the highly popular spot) is found through a outdoor patio. A very clean, safe and family friendly spot! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful and thoughtful place. We visited in the morning - the air was crisp, the water was flowing, and there were just a few people. We can't wait to come back and relax on a swinging bench and take in more of the area. We parked downtown and took advantage of the free 2-hour street parking - it was about a half mile walk. Just gorgeous!

Wonderfully thought out city-center park with a pedestrian suspension bridge highlighting the cascading falls and surrounding downtown buildings. To casually stroll through the park is a must-do activity when visiting Greenville. A quick stop nearby at the Grand Bohemian Hotel is an intriguing and glorious place to see.

Nestled in the heart of our city, this park is a true gem for nature lovers and dog owners alike. The highlight of the park is undoubtedly its artificial waterfall, which is nothing short of phenomenal. The sound of cascading water creates a serene atmosphere, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The surroundings complement the fall beautifully. The park’s design is thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing, with winding paths, lush greenery, and well-maintained flower beds. It’s a delight to stroll through the park, with every turn offering a new, picturesque view. Dog owners will find this park exceptionally welcoming. The area is very dog-friendly, providing ample space for pets to run and play. There are also plenty of benches and seating areas, making it comfortable for pet owners to relax while their furry friends enjoy themselves. Overall, this park is a wonderful spot for relaxation, exercise, and enjoying the beauty of nature. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the waterfall, take a leisurely walk, or spend quality time with your dog, this park caters to all.

Falls park is very nice. Lots of people and children along the banks and playing on the rocks in the middle of the river. Lots of photo shoots going on and saw someone taking their wedding pictured. Very nicely organized and designed. The suspended Bridge is the center point of attention and curves around perfectly so you can enjoy the small falls in the river. Over all a great place to visit.

Great place for outdoor enjoyment! Hot day but Lots of shaded areas and open lawns. Paid parking close by. 2 hour free street parking 1st come 1st served. Benches throughout the park. Many groups out playing frisbee, parents and kids splashing in falls. Enjoyed and will return.

Serenity found. We enjoyed an early midweek stroll and had this gorgeous place pretty much to ourselves. We had researched articles and short video history on this area so it made our visit that more interesting. History is fascinating on this area! Gorgeous and all FREE. Also public restrooms were available too.

Park on street right at entrance. The walkway give a spectacular view of the falls. Go down below and be at the base of falls. Also go above falls to the river feeding it. Enjoy nature. Lots if shops. Geese offered a cool experience as they came a cross river to where I was sitting to eat grass.

Beautiful and relaxing walk in the middle of the city. Great views all around. In the summer, it is very hot, so be sure to bring some water and stay hydrated. A few public restrooms are scattered throughout the path as well, which is great. Lots of history so if you're a nerd for learning like I am, there are a few plaques to read which I found interesting.

We loved walking the trails under the tree canopy along the river. It's is a beautifully landscaped park with a variety of flowers and trees and a lovely rolling waterfall below the pedestrian bridge. It's a must do while in Greenville.

Years and years ago, no one paid much attention to this area and it smelled bad and there was litter in the water. Now it’s a focal point ppl travel to visit. The trails around are well done, lit at night and provide easy access to many shops and restaurants. The bridge is nice and wide and a favorite spot for photos. It is fun to return home to Gville and see the improvements and changes that have taken place. Happy to see it thriving.

We sat in a Shaded little swing facing the falls. Surrounded by deep dark lush foliage and the air so hot that your skin felt Sticky…then a gentle breeze comes and it cools you down. The water was quite pleasant for creek stomping too. The trail seemed to be a system of trails that connect and options for a park and even a workout 🏋🏻‍♀️ section along one part of this system near the falls. Also it is stroller friendly!!!

The most amazingly and beautiful park in any city ever. Make sure to explore around and look for the secret staircase in the photos. Hint, you may have to cross the falls to find it. The suspended bridge is just incredible with views and energy. Plan to spend a good half day enjoying this park and walk along all the trails.

This is such a beautiful and relaxing outdoor experience. Beautiful place to: Take pictures, Relax, Read a book, take a walk, people watch (because some humans are too funny). It’s hard to believe this gem is surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the busy city, yet you don’t hear it once inside the park. We could have and would have stayed longer but we had other things to do! I do hope you get a chance to check it out!!!

Beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature. There are multiple trails, some stairs, but it's all clean. There are also some benches to sit and relax.

Wonderful! Absolutely splendid time with my family walking the paths and enjoying the spring blossoms! It was an easy walk for kids and older people. There were more people than anticipated. However, it was Valentines Day. It is a nice clean park, walking paths and very well maintained. No homeless or needless to worry about like other metropolitan areas, so that is nice. People are friendly and very laid back. Cannot wait to go again.

Wow this is a little gem in the center of town. Great food and shops to explore. The waterfall is beautiful and looks very natural tho I’m not sure if it’s man made. The bridge oversees everything and is fun to cross. We came here and relaxed for a bit while we took in the views. This was one of our favorite spots to visit in Greenville. Great place for couples or family plenty of peace and a little bit of nature in the middle of town.

Although the water level wasn’t as high as I believe it usually is, our family certainly enjoyed a brief foray into nature amidst the bustling beautiful downtown Greenville. There are lots of steps which may be difficult for some, so beware that this may not be disability accessible. However, there is still beauty to enjoy while watching from the landscape above while others explore. There is some enchanting sort of ethereal/whimsical, almost “secret garden” type feel to this tucked away treasure. It’s a lovely little breath of fresh air and fabulous for some great quick pics. I would certainly recommend a brief visit to meander the natural site while exploring the town.

Falls park is unlike any other place in our country. It's beauty is supported by the eclectic nature of its city surroundings. Amenities aplenty including restrooms, eateries, many shops, galleries, picnicking areas, and walking paths. Dog friendly, the park is a playground of exploration for both children and fun seeking adults alike. The park IS the destination for those people in search of wonder and relaxation.

Falls park is absolutely beautiful. You can walk around the falls, cross liberty bridge, find a bench or swing to relax on. There are many restaurants and stores along the river walk, and even a cute little area where artists sell their artwork. There was free two hour parking right outside the park, and once you are done you can walk through downtown Greenville.

In the middle of the city, this is a beautiful gem with paved paths and beautiful fall views. There is no free or public parking available nearby, so you need to park in a parking garage nearby. It may seem like a small spot, but there are many paths you can take that takes you to beautiful spots where you can sit relax and enjoy. Paths are a bit uneven, and there are stairs, so wear appropriate shoes.

Breathtakingly beautiful and has the natural calming of, well, nature. The juxtaposition between the waterfalls and the city streets is such a unique experience. Definitely recommend stopping to see while stopping in Greenville.

This was a nice walk after a great dinner at Sushi Go. There was a festival on Main St. When we went. There were a lot of shops to look at on the way to the Reedy River. There are also a lot of park benches to sit and relax.

Wander around the mostly natural oasis smack dab in the middle of Downtown Greenville. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. There are many dining/drinking/desserting options nearby. There are signs that warn against climbing the rocks, etc.; however some believe these warnings don't apply to them. Anyway, enjoy the respite in the middle of the urban surroundings. City parking is abundant and inexpensive.

Nice and a must visit. We visited the area downtown and the bridge. Easily accessed. There is an elevator that can accommodate wheel chairs and scooters. The bridge is wide. There is ample seating scattered along the river. The river is below you and the falls are spectacular for both sight and sound. Visiting this park is easy and well worth your time. Especially in the spring for flowers or fall for the trees turning color.

The atmosphere here is very relaxing and beautiful. We spent some time just sitting on some side rocks next to the waterfall while worshiping God and admiring His creation. Worth the visit to Downtown. ♥️

What's great place to take a stroll. It was 100F when we were there, but the amount of beautiful shade trees and breeze from the waterfall made the walk very comfortable. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and it's right outside the entrance of the hotel. Great opportunity for a little exercise.

I will never forget the feeling of AWE the first time I saw Reedy Falls in the heart of Greenville! Magnificent, beautiful and breathtaking! The best view is from the pedestrian bridge and it also takes you to the other side of the river! Greenville would not be such a spectacular place without the falls. We love and treasure our downtown park!

Visited during the holiday season.. streets filled with lights and a festive atmosphere. There were Christmas decorations, live music and popup stalls selling trinkets and gift items. The highlight was the picture with Santa for free! As this park was right in the middle of the city, there were all sorts of stores for shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. Plenty of street parking and garage options.

This is an amazing place to visit. This park makes this city. The waterfalls are very relaxing and the park is beautifully maintained. The pedestrian sky bridge is a great place to take photos. The location is perfect for having dinner and enjoying the visit to downtown Greenville.

This park is beautiful and expertly crafted. The views are stunning. The coffee shop (Still the Beans) above it is delicious. I've never been to the restaurants but they look great. There are so many spots to sit and read or write or people watch, you won't be disappointed. There are often ducks swimming in the water and there are so many places to take pictures. The suspension bridge is always a fun walk, but beware, if you are afraid of heights even a little bit, it does sway/bounce a bit. I've seen more than one person become scared part way through - but it's pretty short. That's the other thing, it doesn't yet go anywhere. But the views are great!

This place is spectacular for those who love nature. The walking trails, the streams and the waterfalls are wonderful. There are many shops along the way and great hotels right in the area.

  • 5/5 Kevin H. 11 months ago on Google
The Park is well worth the effort to visit. It is beautiful and the pathways wind up and down and around the water fall. We parked close by on the side of the street for free and made a circular trek around the falls first across the big bridge and then back over on a smaller bridge at the head waters, It is in downtown Greenville and is surrounded by upper scale Hotels and businesses.

Such a beautiful place to go. Take a blanket and have a picnic with the family! Let the kids play in the shallows while viewing the beautiful falls.

  • 5/5 Michelle D. 1 year ago on Google
This park was astonishing. It was very relaxing and peaceful! There were a lot of people, but the place is so big that it was not crowded. There are a ton of different trails and paths to explore. I highly recommend checking out this location! Unfortunately they don't allow you to get on the rocks or in the water, but still a pleasant experience non the less. Also, the ducks and geese said the sign was a lie, they had not just eaten and would have gladly taken food from me.

Nice town to visit. A great weekend getaway from Atlanta. A nice walking and biking weekend trip. Plenty of restaurants friendly people. Nice water fall downtown.

Wonderful park venue, with the Reedy River, several sets of rushing falls, ducks, geese and other wildlife abundant. Many trails with shady areas that really help when the heat and humidity are this high. Many easily accessible restaurants along the river. Shakespeare was being performed at seven in the evening.

What an incredible place in the heart of Greenville! We were stunned at the natural beauty of Falls Park and how well it contrasted with the city surrounding it. It’s a great place for a relaxing walk but you can still feel the city vibes around. Close to so many shops and restaurants too! This is a true gem
