I've been traveling the south trying all the hidden bbq and soul food spots. This place is top tier. Rib plate, LG bbq sandwich, Mac n cheese, and hushpuppies. All of them are worth a try. People were very friendly, ac was cold, and I couldn't even eat all my food even though this was my first meal of the day.

Eat here!!! We were just passing thru Greenville, decided to walk main street. It's a nice town but a bit too high end for our liking. After we left, we just happened upon mike and Jeff's bbq!!! 2401 old buncombe rd. Greenville. Our style!!! Simple, welcoming and oh so good. The waitress was so charming. We felt like we were at a friends home. The food was delishous and the portions were huge. The prices were fair. It was fantastic!!!! We love the local favorite restaurants of America. We toured texas last year and ate at dozens of bbq joints, mike and Jeff's is now in our top 2 list!!!!

To be fair this is not a five-star restaurant in the traditional sense of Ritz-Carlton. But it is in barbecue and IMHO. A great little shop with a great reputation in the heart of San Souci Greenville. The staff is very nice, the food is very good, and it was an enjoyable experience. Recommend for dine in or take out.

I’m just going to do what I do best and shoot it straight. If you were to judge a book by its cover most people would just pass by @mikeandjeffsbbq at 2401 Old Buncombe Rd. They may not have the best curb appeal and the inside dining area is dark and in need of updates. But where they lack in fancy fixtures, brand new fancy buildings and massive marketing budgets, they make up for in flavor, value and character. Mike and Jeff’s is an absolute Greenville gem hidden in plain sight, providing the most incredibly moist pulled pork, chicken and fall off the bones pork ribs in Greenville. They have 3 delicious house sauces, mild, hot and a mustard base. (which you can buy for only $8 a bottle) Although you won’t need it because their hickory smoked bbq is THAT good. Can you believe that plate was only 18.95?

My first time here and what a hidden gem of a restaurant! Delicious Southern BBQ with homemade sides, in an old but quaint building on the west side of Greenville. Fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices...but the food is the main attraction here. I tried the mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad...the latter being my favorite. Many more options and I'll be back soon to try a few more.

OMG!!! First timer here and so glad we ran into this spot! My fiancé and I shared the 3 meats and 2 sides plate, and it was more than enough food. Everything was so delicious, down to the homemade bbq sauces!! All of the staff were super friendly - it felt like we were over at a family members house eating rather than at a restaurant! Don’t forget to get banana pudding to go - sooo good!! We will be back!

A friend of mine was in town, and he loves BBQ; I wanted to find the best BBQ in Greenville, so I did a search, and the names I recognized had average reviews. But Mike and Jeff's were 5-star, so I thought we'd give it a try. Maps gave me good directions to the restaurant. It's a small building, but I was able to see the road sign so I didn't drive by. The food was phenomenal. My friend and I both had the sandwich plate. And we both agreed Mike and Jeff's is really something special.

Everytime I've come here for the last 20 years the place has been perfect. Never a bad or even mediocre experience. The BBQ is incredible, the sides are amazing, the portions are perfect, the price is beyond fair. This is truly a great gem of a place and we are lucky to have them in Greenville. PS. You are one of the few remaining places who actually know how to make sweat tea.
