What an absolutely fantastic dining experience. Family run restaurant, super friendly, they only take cash and have a "no tip" policy. The best falafel sandwich I have ever had with just the right amount of veggies, falafel and tahini. Don't forget to add some hot sauce for extra flavor. The restaurant also has a grocery store which looks charming, and I intend to check it out on our next visit which will hopefully be soon. If 6 stars were allowed I would give Pita House a 6 star rating. Will definitely visit again!

Superb! Everything tastes perfect. Great environment. Fantastic choices, feels like eating at a friend's house. But if that friends mom didn't think you were a good influence but still had high hopes for you because of your potential. But that dude's mom can throw down in the kitchen. I miss my friends' moms. I got the gyro.

My wife & I had a great experience here. It was definitely a different feel than the average traditional (American) restaurant; and I deeply appreciated that! I ordered the lamb gyro, and it was EXCELLENT! These people take great pride in their place, and put a lot of love in their food. Thank you Pita House!!! RECOMMENDED!

This place is a gem, lovely Arab food and a great supermarket attached selling lots of Middle Eastern groceries. I also find Nougat and Fould Madamas

Very good authentic Mediterranean food. The restaurant is in the back half of the building while a small grocery store is found in the front. Not much seating there, but it seems that the long line of customers were mostly there for takeout. That was a good surprise as we were passing through and tired of the usual American food fare and wanted a place to sit down to eat. The high rating was spot on and didn't disappoint. I would recommend the side of babaganush. It was amazingly tasteful.

The food was absolutely delicious and there is so much of it. My husband and I could probably have shared a plate. I got the vegetarian plate and was so happy with it. He got the lamb kabobs, and said they were so tender. Definitely will be going back.

This is a MUST if you want the best authentic gyro that you will experience without traveling to the middle east! That family is wonderful ! They have a small store that offers fresh pita bread and imported foods. If you are anywhere near Greenville you have to try it. BE AWARE - They accept CASH ONLY - NO CREDIT CARDS. So be ready with cash on hand. The prices are very reasonable.

Visited Pita House and had the falafel plate for $10.48. It was absolutely Devine! It was fresh, soft and so flavorful! Cash or checks only. They also have a store on the other side that has a variety of seasoning, coffee, tea & fresh beans! This place has awesome customer service!! If u eat in they bring ur food to ur table. They explain how to order if u are a 1st timer and what the meal comes with. After my meal I got a to go order of the delicious hummus & pita bread to take home & enjoy! Love the warm atmosphere & diverse flavors & customers. Will definitely return to try new things.

Our new favorite local middle eastern restaurant! Everyone was so friendly and the food was delicious - especially the pistachio baklava. It was priced fairly and we enjoyed checking out their grocery store 😊

8/5/22 Went to dinner here on a Friday night, hours of operation are 11 am to 8 pm every day but Sunday. Upon arrival we lined up to place our order and pay, cash only, no tipping. Specializing in Middle Eastern food everything is made of fresh ingredients. Their pita bread and freshly made hummos are especially good. The restaurant is clean and has family atmosphere we saw people of all ages and many children dining. We enjoyed a Mediterranean Salad & a Tabouli Salad and for entrees a plate of Grilled chicken and steak kebabs with middle Eastern style rice pilaf and the Middle Eastern plate with Chicken Shawarma. Also located here is a Middle Eastern grocery store open 8 am to 8 pm every day except Sunday. We bought two packages of their pita bread which is 6 to a bag for $2.99. For dessert we got the pistachio baklava. We had enough food to enjoy our dinner and take half home for later. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Tef

Mike from Columbia Saddest day of the year. I always try to make it to Greenville on the way back from Atlanta to Columbia. This way I can stop by the Pita House for lunch or dinner. The trick is to get there hungry so don't eat anything all day till you get to the Pita House. Order the middle eastern plate as soon as you get there. Then, order your food to go while you shop for groceries. Imagine getting there and....

Food was very good and the price is reasonable. Even though it’s an older place it’s extremely clean, they have hand sanitizer on every table. The owner is very aware of everything going on and keeps his employees in check if they miss something.

Always excellent! Their vegetarian plate is also vegan. Sadly, their desserts are not vegan, but they are delicious. This is one of a handful of local places me and my (non-vegan) spouse can go and both walk out very happy. Their red pepper sauce is so good, we not only use it there, but also buy some to take home with us too. Make sure to bring cash though, as they're a cash (and check) only business.

The kebabs are spectacular! EVERYTHING is good. We try to eat here once a week. The fresh squeezed lemonade is the best around. We also enjoy purchasing items in the grocery section. The family works really hard to put out an excellent products d service.

Unpretentious good food!!! Cash only. I love eating here. Everything is so good and fresh and you can buy the best feta cheese from the attached grocery store. I am not a vegetarian but their vegetarian plate is my favorite thing they have.

I get the hype! We always drive by pita house and saw the crowded parking lot but this time we went and had dinner at 4pm to avoid the crowd. Everything we ordered was amazing.

Delicious authentic middle eastern food. Best doner kebabs I've had anywhere in 100 miles. Remember to bring cash! Also, great middle eastern grocery store!

My first visit here. Was hesitant, I didn’t think I would like Greek food. I had the ham & cheese pita. Food was so delicious! Very friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be going back.

Im from New Jersey where theres a plentitude of Mediterranean food everywhere....this one spot in the middle of SC has blown all of them out of the water. 11/10 so flavorful price is great best food ever.

I recommend Pita House to everyone. The food is phenomenal. Very authentic Mediterranean, always fresh, and the portions are generous. I've had Mediterranean food in many places, but nothing even compares to Pita House. Atmosphere is very casual. It's order-at-the-counter, but even so, the service is very good; everyone there is super nice. Do note, however, that they only take cash or check, no plastic.

They have variety of food and good service and always busy but worth it. Only thing is they only take cash. Enjoy their food every time

Just a mediocre experience here for lunch. The person taking our order was very distracted and did not seem customer focused at all. The food was just okay for the price. The restaurant was clean. To order you wait in line and they give you a number to put on your table for them to bring the food to when it is ready.
