This place is quite amazing. The many tastes of the food were bursting in my mouth. I was 100% satisfied with my meal and experience at Mr Egg. I highly recommend and will be back again the next time I'm in Greenville.

I have heard about this place for a couple months and finally went last night for takeout. My only regret is waiting so long. The food was absolutely amazing and the family that runs it was so incredibly welcoming and friendly. They let us sample some thing we didn’t order. They also explained where they are from and how the food is a little bit different. The amount of flavor in every dish was amazing. We will go back soon and they are now offering cooking classes on Saturday and sundays.

Wow, this place is awesome. Seriously. This is not your typical chicken tikka masala cookie cutter Indian restaurant with all the same Americanized dishes. This is the authentic real deal. There are so many dishes here I've never heard of but the owner was patient in explaining things and even gave tastes and samples as he educated us about his cuisine. The flavors were bright, the quality of the ingredients fresh, and the service (albeit for take out) was excellent. Can't believe it took me so long to find this place. We will be regulars.

My wife and I were craving Indian for brunch on a Sunday and decided to try this new Indian restaurant in town. This is one of the only restaurants that opens at 11 am and has amazing options for brunch, lunch and dinner. The food seemed free of any artificial additives and had a very homely feel to it. We ordered a Tokri Chat, Chana Bhatura and Chef Special Omlette. The owner is very passionate about sharing true Indian food. I definitely recommend this place, I know we will be back again.

Authentic, fresh Indian cuisine. A fantastic stop. The sweet lassi was so good, the chicken roganjosh was to die for and the palak paneer was perfect. I highly recommend stopping in. They are closed Mondays. I've had Indian food all over the state and this is by far the best and freshest I've ever had. The owner is super passionate about his spices too. He came out and talked to us and it shows how much he loves his work. This is the best Indian place around.

It was my first time trying Indian food and I can say that it was an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I will for sure visit this place again. The customer service was amazing, especially the cashier was super nice to me and my family. I disagree with all the negative reviews, Ive been to all the local Indian restaurants and no one compares to this one. All the food in the other restaurants were basically tasteless.

For the life of me- I cannot understand why the good reviews. Chicken curry should not be bland and soupy ever; like water mixed with curry powder. Horrible. Do yourself a favor and go to another Indian restaurant. Several good ones in Greenville.

I, like the last few reviews I read, came with the expectation of a good experience due to the glowing reviews. We found several packs of expired spices in the front of store that they were selling. Which I understand can happen, but after ordering and getting our food I was really surprised at how bad it was. The butter chicken is a universally loved Indian dish and it tasted really bad with rubbery chicken. My wife got dhai puri that was not thawed out fully. I understand that restaurants need to do certain things to deal with volume including food prep and we expect that a certain degree but we aren’t supposed to be able to taste that. Anyway, we will give it another shot one day I’m sure - the kid taking the take out order and stuff was very nice.

After reading all of the glowing reviews I was really excited to try this place, but I'm not going to lie, not one thing about the meals we had was even close to three stars. Maybe someone else was cooking? I don't know, but it just all lacked flavor. I don't think I've ever had to put salt on Indian food until I ate here. The flavor was that lacking - WITH INDIAN FOOD! Do yourself a favor and try some other Indian restaurant, because this is not the one you are looking for. One star added because I didn't starve.
