If you are having a wedding or need space to host an event in Greenwood, Folktale is the place to host it. Katie, the owner, and her team are simply wonderful! They have been nothing but kind since the first day I walked onto their property. They are currently expanding their outdoor entertainment space, it includes a large slab that will be shaded. The outdoor space has tall mature green trees, large green lawns, front and rear paver patios, lighting, and ample parking. The interior of the house is simply beautiful! It should not be missed. Oh, I almost forgot to mention they have food truck that operates Tuesday through Saturday 6-10 pm. The bar is open as well with the same hours. Even if you aren't hosting an event swing by and have a bit to eat and a drink. The food and drinks. Did I mention it's kids friendly! 😊

While hosting my bridal shower brunch, received many compliments from guests mentioning how beautiful the decorations as well as crystal chandeliers were as the venue is named appropriately, once you enter the door you feel as if you stepped into a fairytale world like a princess. We had our wedding at Folktale Event Center, and it was a total dream. Katie was such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. The building itself is also just so beautiful. Our day was magical and perfect. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing to host an event, and maybe in the future we can have an anniversary party here. We cannot thank Katie enough.

Folktale is the perfect place to have a gathering. The home is beautifully decorated. Spacious rooms. Great location. Plenty of parking. The owner is super nice & very helpful.

Went to my cousin's wedding here and went off pretty well for the size of the place and the price they charge you cannot beat it I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a small Event Center the prices are very reasonable the only issue I had with the entire property was the brick sidewalk from the house to the patio very easy to trip and fall

Folktale is the perfect spot to host beautiful, intimate events -- weddings, baby showers, and everything in between! The staff are all extremely friendly and hardworking. (Special shout-out to the dream team of Katie and Bretta -- they are both amazing! Super accommodating and great at their jobs. I have only positive things to say about them!) The house itself is gorgeous and full of wonderful, detailed decorations, and the staff are able to arrange the interiors in many setups to host all manner of events. If you have a wedding or get-together to plan, you need to check out Folktale! My experience with them has been nothing short of perfect. ❤️
