😠 I literally just threw away 2 plates of food. Everything was old. Like from 2 days ago old. I ordered a veggie plate and a large fry. And had the nerve to upcharge me for extra BAD Mac. The Mashed Potatoes were definitely spoiled. I jave no comments on the yams. Just OLD! By the time I made it home... People often mention time, cheese, good, chicken, grits, wings, service, friendly, fries, order,

I literally just threw away 2 plates of food. Everything was old. Like from 2 days ago old. I ordered a veggie plate and a large fry. And had the nerve to upcharge me for extra BAD Mac. The Mashed Potatoes were definitely spoiled. I jave no comments on the yams. Just OLD! By the time I made it home 5 mins away you could tell this was really old food. Please see pics. Even the Fries. I couldn’t tell if it was the potato itself that was bad or the taste of fish. Or if these were refried from noon lunch. Everything just terrible! Its not SAFE TO EAT HERE. I had a burger and mac last week which was pretty good. Thats the only thing that brought me back in tonight. I am truly disappointed.

I got a chicken sandwich and it came with fries, I was a little disappointed the meal didn’t come with a drink the lady didn’t mention that or see if I wanted to add one. By the time I asked she already swiped my card and she told me it was an extra dollar for a drink. I returned the fries only because I had no time to get them remade they where cold and clearly sitting under a heater for way to long. The ten minutes it took to prepare my chicken sandwich was more than enough time to prepare new fries. You can look at the fries and clearly see they are old when I returned them they offered the fry money back I told them I wanted the tip I gave back also seeing how the service was not up to par nobody ever even apologized for the fries being a disappointment they just gave the money back like here bye after saying I wanted the tip back that was also put on my card the man replied “well you didn’t say that” which I felt was rude and sarcastic. Moral of the story customer service was lacking and they are willing to give you old food and just hope you don’t notice.

Guy at counter was very friendly. As I got seated to wait for my food. Seen a lady in the back. I smiled and she looked at me and keep walking. Rib sauce was good. They where tender as well. But they tasted like they was baked or boiled. Mac and cheese was bland. Sweet potatoes was not sweet and had a lot of cinnamon in it. This is my opinion not trying to bash a small business. But I love soul food. I go to restaurants all over the states. Yall keep doing your thing!

So... I wanna support. I honestly do. But the third time is NOT the charm for me. I tried to give it a few months before my review, still didn't help. Greeting was lack luster because I asked if they were still serving breakfast. "What is it that you want?" Placed my order, left a tip, then ran to the gas station next door. Came back roughly 3 minutes later, made eye contact with a young lady, but she kept moving. Then noticed what I thought to be my order under the heating tray... I wasn't gonna grab it. So it, and I, sat there... for another 9 minutes. Until the woman came out and said she didn't know I came back. 🤔 So... we just leave the front unattended for 10 minutes at a time?? Work on the customer service aspect to food. Also... the biscuit was okay, but they use to much baking soda.

I searched for shrimp and grits and this place came up. It also has a picture of shrimp and grits. Once I arrived I asked for it and the lady said that they don't sell shrimp and grits. False advertisement. Very disappointing! I drove out my way to go there.

Delicious "southern comfort " food. Visited for dinner last night and breakfast this morning. Excellent fried chicken and yams (secret family recipe). Breakfast platter was excellent, especially the chicken that accompanied the eggs and grits. The owner was very friendly and we chatted for a long time. Don't let the adjoining gas station discourage you from stopping. I promise, it's not your "typical" food/gas stop. I asked the owner to open in Colorado, but unfortunately, he's set on where he's at. Very reasonable prices. I highly recommend!

I finally made it here. The fresh fried chicken was juicy and crispy. And the sides are highly suitable for southern comfort cuisine. The owner is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. Overall, I enjoyed my visit.

Walked in was charged $4 for a biscuit yet on the menu says $2.19. Woman at counter says biscuits are 2.19 without meat. Yet menu says otherwise. You shouldn't uncharge people because business is slow.

Stopped by while we were headed to Stone Mountain and the food was phenomenal. The ribs were fall of the bone tender and the owner and his wife were very friendly and accommodating! Everything is made fresh and the chicken wings are the best we have ever had! My kids loved the food as well. If we are in the area, we will return!

I came up to Georgia from Florida, and stopped here for lunch on the way from Barnesville to Stone Mountain. The place was incredibly clean, the owner was working the counter and was incredibly polite, hospitable and helpful. Everything was priced very fairly, especially the wings. The wings were delicious, the sauces and dry rubs were made in house. We ordered 30 wings between myself and my sons (a 2 year old and a 3 year old). We cleaned the plate, my boys liked it better than Zaxby’s. My wife had the ribs she enjoyed it, their greens are also great. I am not exaggerating when I say the wings were the best we have ever had. The pound cake was also delicious.

We had the Philly cheesesteaks and fries combo and both were seasoned perfectly! Really good portion size, friendliness, and quality food will have us going back again soon I’m sure.

Instead of sitting in that less than pleasurable traffic from Locust Grove through McDonough, we decided to make a stop for gas and had a pleasant surprise with some fantastic food and hosting. Carolyn & Quinn welcomed us with open arms and served up fantastic wings and the philly cheese steak was over the top. I have this feeling, we're going to make Carolyn and Quinn restaurant a habit whenever we're traveling south. We snuck in just before the closing time at 4:00 p.m. and we're able to sample a few of the wing sauces and the Philly. Being in business in excess of 9 years and adjacent to an extraordinarily clean gas station, the experience was excellent.

Stopped by because I had a taste for a southern-style breakfast, and the food was just as I expected. The creamy grits with cheese, eggs with cheese, bacon, hash brown, and biscuit was A-1.... I enjoyed the entire meal. The service and the atmosphere was very inviting. I will definitely come back again. 😊

First time. Just stopped in for some food. The people here are friendly, charming, and knowledgeable. It really felt like I was walking into a place that I had visited on the regular. Food was cooked perfectly. This will be a reoccurring stop

Came across Carolyn Quinn’s about two weeks ago and have been coming almost every day since for breakfast. The owners are very nice, and down to earth people. The sausage egg & cheese biscuit is great and the cheese grits are top notch! 10/10 recommend.

Don't let the gas station location scare you away as it's not your typical gas/food place. The food was good, and the owners were great. We spent a good bit of time chatting with them, very nice & and well-rounded folks with great values of life.

My husband and I stayed in Locust Grove for a few days and came across this little gem. The fried chicken wings were delicious and seasoned well. The sides were just as good. We had collard greens, yams, and mac and cheese. If ever in the area, we will definitely stop again.

Exactly what the name says “Southern Comfort” I was greeted immediately with light conversation and southern hospitality. The breakfast platter was the star of this mornings show as everything in the platter held its own no one food outshined the other. The grits were amazing buttery, cheese with a taste of love, eggs and biscuits were amazing as well. I took it a step further and made a sausage biscuit with the patty I ordered and was not disappointed. I will be coming back to try everything else!

I placed an order with door dash and I picked up order. My husband and I couldn’t wait to try it He said it was ok and I was nauseous after eating. My hash brown patty was soggy and in the middle of my grits! My chicken that I paid extra for was nothing but gristle and not to mention so small I almost missed it! Not a good experience and I won’t be back! Owners wife was apparently having a bad morning! Not friendly AT ALL! If I had paid full price I would have been pissed!
