I am excited to leave a review! This place has a full menue and they have a buffet, an up scale buffet to say the least. Arby's may have some beef but this place has all the veggies. The veggies are seasoned well and full of flavor a great way to eat healthy without sacrificing taste! Beans and cornbrdad, cabbage, carrots, greens, mac&cheese, green beans, rice and gravy, mashed potatoes, cajun sweet potatoes etc, etc etc The meat entree are obviously freshly prepaird in house not typical restraunt food serviced heat and eat. The salsbury steak is incredibly delicious, and so is the buttermilk fried chicken. It is a small cozy dining roo. We did not have to wait for a table however appears to be quite popular so go early, and if you have to wait it will be worth your time. This is good old fashioned American cooking at it's finest. The owners are hands on and genuinly friendly and are quite pleasant to interact with. I hope to see them thrive and prosper. One of my new top 10 favorites for this area.

Was not expecting buffet, but it was really good. I ate way too much. 1st dine in experience and both bathroom lights were out. No way I could have used the bathroom in the dark, but I propped door to have natural light in to at least wash my hands. The lights were repaired during my dine time tho. The waitress did not know the WiFi passcode. But quickly retrieved it from the boss via text. Really quiet in here, no music playing. Waitress was sweet as pie to be sure the few of us in here were satisfied. Food: chicken, tenders, meatloaf, hamburger steak, peas, corn, green beans, squash, Mac n cheese, salad bar.....to name a few items. Will return sooner than later.

There aren’t enough good things to say about Southern Palate Catering. We had the pleasure of being catered by them twice this weekend; once on Friday for our daughter’s wedding rehearsal and then yesterday for the wedding. The food both times was absolutely amazing! We had a complete Mexican meal on Friday and Chicken and waffles was our main course for the wedding! Simply amazing! However this goes way beyond food; this couple and their team were the hardest working vendor I’ve ever worked with! They went out of their way to make sure our night was perfect! Over the top customer service from beginning to end! I can’t say enough good things about them! I wish I had more stars! If you need a caterer; look no more! Thank you for everything you did to make our weekend one we’ll never forget!

Southern Palate Cuisine catered my wedding & they did a phenomenal job. Their service is great & they were very helpful when it came to planning and deciding on our menu. The food at the wedding was outstanding and they did a great job keeping the serving line smooth. Everyone at our wedding thought the food was so good. Southern Palate helped us cater a our son’s engagement party. We had a taco bar and had so many compliments on the food. The beef and chicken were wonderfully seasoned, but the biggest hit were the homemade queso, chips, and guacamole! When we arrived to pick up, everything was ready to go! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I contacted several caterers for my niece's wedding. Chef Denise and James were by far the easiest to work with. They had no issues adding/subtracting from their stated menu, where others absolutely refused and were rude about any changes. Chef Denise stated she would do her best to make brides day the best day ever and she did. We had the taco bar which was delicious. Their homemade chips were to die for! All the guests were complimentary on the food. We had chicken and mac & cheese for the littles and my great niece told her grandfather it was the best mac & cheese ever ☺. The staff was very professional and friendly. James checked with us numerous times during the reception to make sure everything was as expected. I could not be happier with the food, service and pricing. Thank you so Much to Chef Denise, James and the staff for a perfect evening.

Denise and her team did a wonderful job at our daughter's wedding this past weekend. They are professional and experienced not just at running a top shelf experience with a nice presentation, but having the flexibility to meet unique dietary needs of guests. Oh yes, and the food was yummy!

Southern Palate is GREAT! I was well taken care of by Denise and her team. I highly recommend them to anyone for catering. Everything was amazing from communication, pricing, service, to food quality. We used Southern Palate for my son's rehearsal dinner of 65 people. I knew what atmosphere I wanted but had no idea how to achieve it. I was on a budget. I called several places, some didn't respond, others weren't friendly after realizing I wasn't spending a fortune. I emailed Southern Palate one evening and the next morning Denise called. She never made me feel uncomfortable (cheap) when talking about my budget. She found a way to make everything perfect within my budget!!! She responded immediately to questions and details. She guided me through details I had not thought of. The food was amazing. Everyone was impressed. The quality, the taste, and the setup were perfect! There was more than enough food, no one left hungry. The team was efficient and thorough. Denise also guided me emotionally through my first son to marry :) and made sure she was at my event! I can't thank Southern Palate and Denise enough for making everything exactly as I envisioned.

Simply the best! Chef James and Chef Denise not only make phenomenal food, but they're also the kindest, sweetest, most caring people who truly try and get to know you. My husband and I knew after one bite we had to book these guys and I cannot tell you how many compliments we got from our wedding guests how great the food was! They really took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed so we could just relax and enjoy our reception. I cannot give high enough praise for these two wonderful people.

Southern Palate catered a retirement party at our church in Western NC. The food was excellent! We ordered 4 different "small bites" and loved every one of them. My favorites were the Spinach/Artichoke dip, and the Shrimp and Grits Shooters were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I heard people say that was the best thing they've ever eaten! Denise and James were very professional and quick to respond. Great experience! Thank you both so much for helping to make this celebration extra special!

Our review is long overdue. We had our wedding 7 months ago and I still think about this food. I cannot begin to say enough great things about Southern Palate Catering. They were able to make our dream of having a breakfast bar at our wedding come true. The food was amazing. Our guests still talk about how much they enjoyed our food. I can't give enough stars for this AMAZING caterer! Chef Denise was a gem to work with! We used Southern Palate for my daughter's wedding recently. Throughout the entire process, she was wonderful! Communication was spot on. As for the food and service, impeccable! We had a last minute venue change, within days of the wedding. Southern Palate pulled it off without a hitch! The food was absolutely delicious. All our guests were raving about it. If you're looking for a caterer, I assure you that you will be most pleased with Southern Palate!

I can’t say enough good things about Denise and her husband. The tasting was delicious and had so many options it was hard to narrow it down. But we managed to narrow it down for day of. Now let’s talk about day of. They took care of everything! Their staff even made us plates and made sure we always had drinks and food if we wanted it. Having good food at a wedding was number one on my list. They checked off everything on my list!

I would definitely recommend Southern Palette for catering. The food was great and the ladies that stayed for the event were very sweet and helpful. They were a little hard to get ahold of sometimes if you had questions before your event but would eventually call or email you back. Also, they cut it close getting getting there and setting up in time for the event but did manage to have it all out and ready to go by starting time. All in all, it was a good experience and I would hire them again. The spinach and artichoke dip was truly amazing!

We recently used Southern Palate to cater our company Christmas party. We cannot say enough great things about Denise & James. Their food was all hot & amazing. Everyone at the party raved about it! The wait staff was on top of everything & very helpful. They set up the room perfectly to accommodate everyone. I would highly recommend Southern Palate for any event. They are kind, caring, trustworthy and talented beyond belief. They take pride in their business & go out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of and happy. 5 star all the way!

I am writing this the morning after my wedding because I cannot thank chef Denise enough for everything she did. The tasting my husband and I had with her months ago was absolutely delicious. She provided a wonderful spread, took her time working with us on options, and never made us feel pressured about our budget. In the months following, she was very thorough, accommodating, and communicative. The day of, she handled literally everything. The food was one of the only things I did not have to worry about, and all of my guests thought it was incredibly delicious. Her and her team were quick and efficient, and Denise took special care of me and my husband. I truly felt as though she was part of my family. I can't recommend Southern Palate enough. My husband and I are so grateful for everything! Thank you, Denise!

Southern Palate catered our daughter's reception and did an amazing job. Presentation was beautiful, food was amazing and the servers were gracious, friendly and helpful. We had tacos and everything was fresh and delicious. The house made tortilla chips were the hit of the night. I had one guest say she'd buy a whole bag if she could! 10/10 recommend!

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I attended a wedding where they chose Southern Palate as their caterer. Denise was friendly at the wedding but unfortunately the food was ICE COLD. Beyond that, it was flavorless. It could of been dumped out of a can. Actually, a can may of had more flavor. When the groom left a negative review, she had the nerve to call the bride and complain to her about her new husband! Classless behavior, poor service, ridiculous price, and the worst catered food I’ve had. Also on a side note, the set up was unprofessional. There was no finesse or attempt to go above and beyond. This was a high end wedding and this caterer came prepared for a BBQ style event with their set up.

Southern Palate is our caterer of choice! Denise Norman and her staff always take such good care of us. Whether we order for large occasions or small, it's always a treat to have lunch from Southern Palate. The food is delicious (my favorite is the chicken salad). Denise always puts her customers first and makes them feel like family.

I cannot rave about Southern Palate enough!!!! I hired them to carter my wedding in October 2020 and they did an incredible job! Not only are they affordable and the food is top notch, but they are amazing people to work with! I had to reschedule my wedding do to Covid, and part of that process included hiring a different caterer. That's how we found Southern Palate. I'm convinced that it was meant to be! They have a beautiful set of mix-matched china that went with my theme, and the food was out of this world! They even boxed two plates specifically for me and my husband to enjoy the next day. And they gifted us with a bottle of champagne for our toast. Chef Denise and her husband have a passion for what they do which is key when planning a wedding. You want to hire a team that loves the job and not just the paycheck. I cannot rave about them enough! Thank you so much Southern Palate for being apart of our day!
