TOURIST TRAP - I trusted the ratings… You probably ended up here due to the incredible rating on google. 4.8 at 1600 reviews is astonishing but also alarming. The majority of people are English people, thus we knew that most of them probably ended up here just like us - the google ratings. The whole utensils were dirty. The prices totally exaggerated. A small portion for 19-25€. The service was not attentive. We asked for recommendation and they were annoying pointing towards some dishes. Taste wise everything is slightly spicy. I had way better Butter chicken and laughed when I tried their garlic naan that’s been promoted hardly here which taste simply bland. The seafood platter for 26€ consists of mostly Paprika and surimi which is not even real fish. Overall I truly believe the business model is to lure people, especially tourists into trying mayur and then ending up paying shit lots of money for little value so that this place get a one-shot big return for their food. That’s why this place is full because it doesn’t haben regulars. Our dishes were disappointing and it’s another underwhelming story of the feeling that we all hate - leaving tons of money for dissatisfying food that makes you feel bad because of the cheap ingredients, the calories and the expensiveness. The staff doesn’t look happy and are clearly being underpaid and micromanaged. I really regret coming here For my German friends I say it in one sentence: Geht nicht hin, lasst euch nicht verarschen von den Google Bewertungen die safe gekauft sind.

A good place to enjoy the Indian food in Düsseldorf Germany, the owners are very courteous and welcoming , they even helped when we wanted to change the order even after placing the order. This place has a big space and nice ambiance. It’s not very far from the central and Düsseldorf hof 🚉 . We tried only veg option which were nice, particularly we liked the rice that they provide with the the dish.

It's one of the oldest indian restaurants in Düsseldorf. The staff was nice, but the service was slow, I ordered Lamm-Biryani, the food had German flavor, no spices! Of course, if you want to spice up your food, you can ask for it.

Interior is good, suppliers are very friendly and humble. Once you visit please do try kheema parata, butter garlic naan, tandoori roti, mutton curry, dum aloo and dal makhani is the best. Must try dishes: Dal makhani Mango lassie Masala chai Butter garlic naan Well maintained restrooms. We celebrated our friends birthday here.

Owner and staff are super kind and respectful, the service is really nice, but above all, the food is amazing and super delicious. I’ve been to this place a couple of times now and it was always this amazing and always the same quality of food. Definitely recommend this place if u like and wanna try Indian food.

We ordered chicken biryani, grill platter and both dishes taste was really awsome. For grill platter they have given extra vegetable rice. Both chicken biryani rice and vegetable rice are really tasty. Both dishes are a must try. High Quality of chicken, lamb and prawn in grill is the highlight.

The restaurant was a bit busy on a Saturday afternoon but we managed to get a seat after we didn’t make it to our original appointment. The staff was ok and did their best. The food was really good. We had the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken. The mango lassi was a bit disappointing as we are use to it being made a little thicker. The prices are also a little steep.

Tasty food, reasonable price and a good price to quantity ratio, friendly and good service, convenient location and pleasant decor. Highly recommended if you are looking for tasty Indian food.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Düsseldorf. The place is quite spacious and have COVID-19 prevention measures in place. The staff is super friendly amd proactive. There is a bit of waiting time, but you can enjoy some starters till then. The food is really good and the portion sizes are satisfactory. The Gulab Jamoon was not quite upto the expectation though. We were a group of 5 and each paid €20 (since we shared) for a nice meal.

The food here is average. They don't allow packing of leftover food. The restaurant is bit overpriced. Also bit far from central station. the staff was nice and welcoming

I just read the reviews specifically the bed ones. I didn’t find them useful. I was looking here the authentic Indian food and same was delivered. Everywhere I got sweet kind of as you can say mostly Europian type but I get it very delicious and not the sweet one. I tried paneer tikka as I am veg. Must recommend as it’s near the tourist attractions and you wouldn’t find the ambiance anywhere like they have in Düsseldorf for Indian restaurant.

Overall a good experience! The food was very tasty and presented beautifully. I liked that you could easily get more bread and rice when you need it. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. The food was also ready very quickly!

Me, My wife and son visited Mayur Düsseldorf on 10-Oct-2021 for authentic Indian dinner and mayur did not disappoint us . Food was very good and service was too good. We enjoyed our dinner at mayur and hope to visit again. Thank you mayur for serving tasty dinner . I will really recommend you to eat once at mayur .

We had butter chicken and dal and other items, everything were fresh and perfect , highly recommended place, the owner showed great hospitality for sure I will come here again.

This place was a very nice place. Note: if you are going there in the evening, you are required to make a reservation. I went there without a reservation because I was there visiting so I didn't know that the reservation was required. When I was there, the shop owners were very nice and let us stay for dinner without reservations. The food was amazing. It was worth waiting till the dinner for a meal. I would personally recommend it to anyone who loves Indian foods. If you are in Dusseldorf and around this area for some reason, I would totally recommend visiting this place.

We had a great time, with excellent food! We admittedly came in a bit late after some monday sunset drinks near the Rhine, but got a very friendly and warm welcome. Especially enjoyed the mango lassi!

I’ve read good reviews on this restaurant so I went to try it. Honestly, it wasn’t the good. Too much spices and too much spicy that I couldn’t eat, although I ordered biryani less/no spicy. This is the best Indian restaurant in dusseldorf, you don't need to go anywhere else if you are looking for authentic and tasty Indian food. Owner Mr. & Mrs. Kumar are really friendly and nice people and we always feel very welcome here. Ambience is also really nice and all safety and hygiene rules are followed which is really appreciated in current situations. All the dishes and drinks are very delicious. Palak paneer, samosa and other dishes are must try. Thanks again for very warm hospitality and looking to visit again!! 😀

Went with a friend for lunch and it was absolutely amazing! From the start, they were so friendly and warm when welcoming us and they were also patient when we couldn't seem to make up our mind on what to have as everything sounded too good. Then the food came and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to! Prices were reasonable for food that great. Will definitely be eating there again whenever I'm in Düsseldorf.
