Tourist attraction Park

👍 Nice little park. Has a smaller playground for younger children and a larger one for big kids. There’s a small basketball court and field for kickball/baseball etc. It would be nice if it had a restroom!! People often mention park, kids, nice, pretty,

This actually is a pretty nice park this is my first time coming through here and you know it's really seems like they truly made it look very nice and very great for families and just a good spot to come it's peacefully tucked away you really won't notice it if you don't come over this way. It's on longdale I think it's driver road I don't know but it's pretty awesome I suggest if you're in this area of Decatur near flat shoals or 2nd avenue you might want to come through and check it out I would definitely recommend this place right now I'm here it's 8:00 in the morning so it's no one here but it's pretty peaceful they got basketball hoops here so I'm pretty sure they Hoop It up and there's an area where you can have like picnic or whatnot tables and stuff so pretty good glad I stopped in I suggest you do too.

Great little public park located in a private neighborhood. Covered dining areas, relaxing swings for parents and two separate playgrounds for a little ones and older ones. Not to mention a double basketball court, and a huge open field for a softball, football or frisbee game!

Quaint and quiet neighborhood park. Clean and well-maintained.

A decent park with nice playground and basketball court. Careful on the trails in the woods behind it. Sometimes people live there or shoot guns back there...i used to live through the woods and heard gunshots frequently...there is a hill they shoot into so it isn't too crazy but you never know what idiot might show up and do it wrong. The guy I met who lived back there was nice enough but you never know who else might show up or be back there. Lots of wildlife too. There was a heard of deer that ate in my yard most mornings...pretty cool for being essentially in Atlanta...although I guess it makes sense since no one hunts them there.

Okay so this is clearly a newer playground, I can tell from the look of it. They have a smaller play area for kids up to 5 and a larger one for bigger kids. I gave it three stars because the mulch is just not a good idea for kids in my opinion it makes it easier to fall and catch a splinter, Also the playground areas were fill of trash on the ground. The men playing basketball were using Opprobrious words and people were smoking weed in their car. It has a gazeebo , a large field, and large black sitting swings. Regular swings for kids but no baby swings. I'm not sure of I'll go back or not. I'm always trying to find decent playgrounds but it's not easy.

Not a whole lot going on over here, but it was a nice lil spot to eat my lunch while I was in the area.
