The expansion of ‘self-service’ checkouts, has seen the closure of traditional checkouts (particularly in the late afternoon and evening) and an associated reduction in general customer service/satisfaction. This has driven many previously loyal Coles customers, to shop at other supermarkets in Griffith, that do not have self-service checkout facilities (e.g. IGA etc). Most people do NOT want to use self-service checkout facilities. They are notoriously unreliable and crash regularly!! Coles might believe that this is the way of the future, but customers will show that this is not the case. Customers are rejecting the concept and finding alternative options to buying their groceries. Coles (Griffith) - you need to open more traditional checkouts…particularly in the evenings. More and more people are simply going to leave trolleys full of groceries at the self-service area and walk out of the supermarket. I am seeing this occur more frequently. And deservedly so!

My cousin is in iso due to her fiancè having covid and they are in desperate need of supplies so she ordered a home delivery from Coles in Griffith Due to unforeseen circumstances Coles cancelled the order but POLICY means they *can't* give an immediate refund "no exeptions" so my cousin can't even organise some other supplies. Now they are broke and still have no food or supplies. How ridiculous! Coles company needs to remember the are dealing with real humans.

More self check outs and less staff.. Not good for old people waiting in lines

I always prefer to buy all grocery from coles also all staff and management is very good and helpful but Last 6 months on my experience coles Griffin plaza don’t provide trolly Token to customers, I want to purchase but staff say” runout token ..”

Today I am buying the fruits what I find in the pears already no good to eats where are the fresh Food people I talk to one of the Coles staff and they yelling on me what’s your problem if you want to buy buy them otherwise leave there Thump down to the Coles why they put that Rubbish fruits in the shelf’s

Prices are good. Very friendly staff. A happy place to shop. Trolleys clean and easy to push around. Wheelchair accessible. Plenty of food choices and an excellent fruit and veg assortment. Overall it is a very good supermarket to shop in.☺

Store is big but they don't have butcher in store and I wish they sell goat meat, like other Coles stores sell it

I saw pack of beef at shelf. Which was near 10 years old cow meat.$20kg. Good on you. People say something.

Never enough staff at check out.

Yeah, it's a bit run down and you feel like you need to have a wash after being in the centre. The shopping centre itself has been let go and is in very very poor condition. But it's all to be expected when Woolworths buys out the facilities as was reported in the area news and Coles supermarket is your competitor.
