First time trying Ethiopian cuisine and let me tell you something... you need try this one!!! The food was super delicious and I loved the fact that I could eat with my bare hands. I also tried an Ethiopian beer that was nice but nothing too different from usual ones I'd say. The lady who served me and my friends was super nice, one of my friends is Ethiopian so they really connected and she also offered us Ethiopian alcool at the end of our dinner. This place is a must if you want to eat some good Ethiopian food in Nürnberg !! 😋

Great place! The staff is super nice, friendly and very thoughtful. Always on the look to help. The food is aromatic and full of flavor. The quantity is as good as the quality. Come hungry to have enough space. The honey wine is a must try for people who like sweet alcoholic drinks. The coffee is also tasty. You may want to give it a try.

Amzing restaurant, great food and friendly authentic staff. The food is definitely worth a try. It's much and has various flavors. The decorations are lovely and the music in the background is fitting. Also, they explain their name on the first page of the menu. Go find out a bit about the Ethiopian culture and have a taste of it.

We recently spent a few nights in Nuremburg and enjoyed a very good meal at Mesob Restaurant on this trip. This is a casual Ethiopian restaurant on Pillenreuther Straße that makes for good alternative if you are looking for something different to German and Franconian food. Not particularly familiar with Ethiopian food, we found the waitress particularly friendly and able to make good meal suggestions. Menu is in German only but she was able to explain things quite easily in English. During our meal we had a mixed platter for 2 persons that included a mix of stewed meats and vegetables served with injera, a sour dough bread. Some of the items we enjoyed more than others but on the whole, everything was flavourful and enjoyed. In the end, this was a quality meal that we enjoyed very much, would gladly return for another dinner here during future visits to Nuremburg.

Can only confirm the positive ratings. Nice staff, atmosphere and menu. Veggie plate for 4 persons a delight but also way too much. Dessert an eye opener and super delicious. Highly recommended!

I’m not sure if the food was authentic, but it was absolutely amazing. So tasty that I wish I had two stomachs.

The food is delicious, but we all had explosive diarrhea the next day that affected our travel plans. I’d say it’s better to stay away!

Omg!.. such am amaxing time and food here. Its typical Ethiopian. I ordered the veggie platter and wow every item in it was full of flavour. The ambience here is traditional and the staff (1) lady in the front did a great job. Well done team, keep up the work.

The waitress was very kind, she helped us find something to order from the menu (the menu was in German and we don't know German). The food was very good.

Injera is the best. We tried the Injera with meat and veg options for 2 person. Amazingly delicious and served really quick. We loved it and we recommend Mesoba. The host was also very loveing and friendly.

Nice food, is specially plates for sharing. The service could have been a bit better (we waited a bit longer to be asked for our food order). But the person was nice and polite while serving.

The service was slow but once my order was put in it didn’t take too long to come. The food was cold and the taste was okay.

Attention is awful. The table was truly dirty and sticky. Not even napkins. And the food was not that good for the price, the soup was almost half oil.

Beware fake reviews. I was here at peak dinner hour (on a weekday). I was the only guest during my entire hour-long stay. That doesn't happen for a restaurant with an honest 4.8 stars (which it had when I arrived). The food was ok--nothing anyone would search out, but good enough to finish what you ordered.

The food is really tasty, but also overpriced. It just might happen that you get dirty glads with pomade on it. Also, an insect we spotted strolling around our table. I would give it 2.5 stars but as this is not possible, here are 3, still it is too generous for our side.

The Mix Teller had superb flavors. Rather spicy but that was expected. Reasonable pricing

The staff was extremely friendly and the food delicious. I loved that the Lady offered for us to take the leftovers home (lovely and big portions). If you order on Tuesday, they offer Injera with 100% Teff-Flour (gluten free).

Very good food and nice ambience. The flavours of the food were well balanced. The salad dressing had a pickel kind of flavour which was very nice. The mix teller with chicken and egg is a must tryv which comes with Ethiopian soft pan bread. A freshly brewed Ethiopian coffee was nice to end our eating experience there on a nice note. The staff were quite courteous.

Extremly friendly and tasty. We enjoyed this exotic evening. Eating with hands was not so easy and I used fork at the end, but that was not a problem. Food also was a little spicy for us, but we also were ready for that. Otherwise just an amazing experience. We would come again when we are in Nuremberg.
