the

cathedral

between

choir
and

ambulatory

an
astronomical
clock
with
chimes
.
The
clock
from
the
years
1540
to
1542
is
one
of
the
most
important
monumental
clocks
in
the
German-speaking
world.
It
is
part
of
the
so-called
"
family
of
Hanseatic
clocks
",
of
which
only
the
clocks
in
Gdansk,
Rostock,
Stralsund
and
Stendal
are
relatively
original
(the
clocks
of
Lübeck
and
Wismar
were
destroyed
in
1942
and
1945,
respectively).
It
has
a
number
of
common
characteristics
with
the
watches
of
this
family
of
watches.
The
clock
is
also
one
of
the
few
remaining
counter
clockwise
rotating
public
clocks
.
