Paulus-Dom is the cathedral church of the Catholic Diocese of Münster in Germany, and is dedicated to St Paul. It is counted among the most significant church buildings in Münster and, along with the City Hall, is one of the symbols of the city. The Astronomical Clock in Church. The Astronomical clock is the very best and very spiciel. Easter is the first sunday after the first moon. we can know the moons phases 6 weeks in advanced. i took photo this clock please see the clock. its wondering.

Ein sehr schöner Dom inmitten von Münster. Hier sollte man unbedingt mal reinschauen.

Wonderful historic Cathedral. A lot of Paintings and Sculptures Art. The musical sound of organ was amazing. And it is nice to see and attend while the people do their prays.

Incredible cathedral. It was damaged during the war and throughout the years. I like how it displays pictures of how it was look like with the damages and how it was restored and rebuilt to today’s shape. Inside the cathedral there are many chapels of which each of them shows different design and decorations. The most beautiful and impressive thing inside the church is the astronomical clock. It’s kept the original form and calendar which was built in 1600’s. It’s amazing to see how complicated the mechanical system was back then.

Very beautiful building. The only downside is that all the church wealth is inside and people are in the cold and outside begging for food. Maybe cater more to the people around the church than the visitors.

Amazing historical building, beautiful inside. Well maintained. Must go too, when visiting Munster. Beautiful place specially when visiting around Christmas.

That is I guess the biggest in Munster, ones we got there, we realised how huge it really is. The community is also very active, their website is always full of activities, but the statues and details there were captivating we ve spent almost half an hour just to see the church…

One of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen. The architecture, the stained glass windows, the art inside are just amazing. The astronomical clock was my favorite part.

The cathedral was destroyed during the war and reconstructed. Free entrance but take into account that if there's any activity inside you can't enter and you have to wait.

Very modern sermon, bridging how an ancient book can be interpreted by today's world. Even as an atheist I was able to find value in it. Plus, the choir Sint Bavo was a joy to listen to.

It was much much nicer than what I expected. Cathedral is way different to what you always find inside German churches. There are amazing stained-glass windows and sculptures inside, displayed in a sort of artistic way rather than the usual boring-church-style, and together with the astronomical clock and the graveyard, it makes the cathedral a special place. If you're interested in arts and architecture, this place is a must in Münster. On top of that, on weekends a local market takes place in the square next to the Cathedral.

The Münster Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in Munster , under the patronage of the Apostle Paul . The Cathedral of the Diocese of Münster is one of the most important church buildings in Münster and is next to the historic town hall one of the city's landmarks. The cathedral is administered by the cathedral chapter Münster . In a yoke between high choir and (south) ambulatory is an astronomical clock with chimes . The clock from the years 1540 to 1542 is one of the most important monumental clocks in the German-speaking world. It is part of the so-called " family of Hanseatic clocks ", of which only the clocks in Gdansk, Rostock, Stralsund and Stendal are relatively original (the clocks of Lübeck and Wismar were destroyed in 1942 and 1945, respectively). It has a number of common characteristics with the watches of this family of watches. The clock is also one of the few remaining counter clockwise rotating public clocks .

St. Paul's Cathedral is a 108 metre long structure built over a apan of 40 years in the 1200s. The entire build of this gigantic church is a typical representative of Gothic style. There are three organs here and the Astronomical clock is an attraction worth seeing.

It doesn’t catch your eye from the outside, but it is marvelous from the inside, and full of tiny yet beautiful details.
