Der Schlimmste Bahnhof denn ich je gesehen habe, kaum Sitzplätze, dreckig ohne Ende. Einfach nur der Planke Horror.

The Ostbahnhof was modernized a few years ago and is a good connection axis for public transport. The biggest shortcoming is the lack of accessibility. Wheelchair users cannot use the train station. It becomes a fitness test for cyclists and strollers. Even as a man, I get a little uneasy in the dark. The access tunnel is often full of water, urine and e-scooters and the entrance is less inviting. When I consider how much the Ostend has now become gentrified, we shouldn't stop at the train station.

Der Ostbahnhof ist eine Schande für die Bahn und den gesamten ÖPNV. Dreckig, überall stinkt es nach Urin, und völlig runtergekommen. Leider sieht es in vielen Bahnhöfen so aus wie ich bei der Nutzung des 9,- € Tickets feststellen musste. So etwas passiert wahrscheinlich wenn man einen ehemaligen Beamtenappart privatisiert und eine AG daraus macht aus der die Anleger dann Gewinne erzielen wollen. Der Trend geht leider immer weiter, siehe Gesundheitssystem ...

Very difficult access to the DB station. 2x incorrect signs "To the trains" refer to a large construction rubble area cordoned off with construction fences (as of April 2023). The only entrance near Danziger Platz is only visible when you stand a few meters in front of it. No transition to the pedestrian tunnel under the tracks, and therefore not to the subway. No access from the eastern side/Ferd.-Happ-Str. No accessibility.

The Ostbahnhof station area is located close to the River Main. There are many quiet residential areas and hotels for tourists, and it is a convenient location for access to the city. It is also the first train for U6, so if you time it right, you can sit down and go to the center of town. When I tried to use the elevator at the station, the elevator didn't work, and when I got off, I luckily encountered a double rainbow. Looks like something good will happen♪

This train station and the outside area look like they did 40 years ago, although a lot of new and remodeled work was done because of the ECB, absolutely nothing was done here! The construction sites and the fences and devices for this have been in place since 2018! What's wrong with the city? Why is this train station being allowed to deteriorate like this?

The station is in terrible condition but is currently being renovated. At least I hope so, there is definitely a big construction site there

Öffentlich zugängliche, begehbare Baustelle. Ruine, seit mindestens 15 Jahren. In der Eingangshalle/Unterführung begrüßen einen zwei Tauben, die dort wohnen und die Base chillen. Sinnlosester Bahnhof Frankfurts: 2 Gleise, eine Regionalbahn in Städte (Richtung Hanau), die auch andere Bahnen an anderen naheliegenden Bahnhöfen anfahren. Keine Aufzüge, nicht barrierefrei. Zwei Sterne, weil hier immerhin etwas fährt und es tierfreundlich ist (Tauben).

Die Verantwortlichen der Bahn gehören verklagt. Dieser Bahnhof ist eine Zumutung. Baustellen sind sicher notwendig, aber das hier toppt alles was ich jemals gesehen habe. Ein mieses Drecksloch ist eine liebevolle Beschreibung. Unfassbar. Und die Beschilderung zu den Zügen ist eine Katastrophe.
