VIP service at the Hotel Gerber. I am a Celebrity Writer from LA working on a story. The hotel is absolutely beautiful from the artistic decor to flowers and friendly staff, The Hotel Gerber is one of the best hotels, I have seen in Europe. They offer a breakfast truly made from the heart with an array of homemade jams, fresh bread, and variety of meat and cheese platters. The dining room is fit for royalty with the red fabric and fresh flowers. If you are on holiday, business, or plan a wedding, this is an exquisite place. Did I mention the champagne? First class all the way at The Hotel Gerber. You will also enjoy the beautiful patio for morning coffee filled with plants and conversational art.

My son & I stayed for two nights in June. Cracking hotel, excellent staff. Very impressed with the breakfast, the twin room was immaculate. The beer was tremendous, will happily stay here again.

Nice clean room, good restaurant, nice staff and easy to get to as well, some noise from the railway station over the road but it didn't bother me. Good choice at breakfast but due to COVID-19 restrictions it's not a smooth operation in a morning I found. A few to many steps if you are in a wheelchair or with a pram as we were but generally a nice place to stop and a good price.

Fine hotel and not expansive. Breakfast is quite diverse for highway standards. Friendly staff and the rooms are sizable.

The room looks tidy, is spacious and has a place for everything. Comfortable bed. Shower would need more pressure but it's nice. WiFi is above average, but not great depending on room location distance from router in the corridor or time of day because of other guests. Good TV set.

Decent hotel at a fair price. Don't expect anything too fancy, but you'll get a clean room and good WiFi. The only thing that confused me was the room service knocking on my door at 8:30 as they wanted to clean the room - quite an uncommon time to the best of my knowledge, especially because I wasn't supposed to leave before 11:00.

It was clean and ok. The single rooms are small, but not really a problem. There was a bit cold in the room, the heat seems to run on a schedule, the radiators were off almost all night. Good breakfast.

We stayed for 2 nights in Hotel Gerber. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a very enjoyable and memorable experience. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant that serves excellent traditional German food. The hospitality is of 5 star quality we received the two days many thanks.

I give it 5 stars. The guy at reception was very polite. Perfect for those looking for a hotel close to the highway.

Hello. The hotel was well placed near the destination I needed to attend. The food was good and the staff really nice. Actually they were so nice that they didn't aware me my reservation expired and I stayed for one more day without knowing. Of course now I have really big issues at work cause I was supposed to check out one day earlier and I need to refund the whole price. Except that it was a really nice stay at the hotel. I would go back to it. Thank you.

Good place to stay over night …

Authentic cosy family hotel with renovated large rooms. Very clean. Great bathroom. Friendly staff, English speakers. Located not far from the highway. Excellent breakfast. Great value for the price. Parking is available. Tip: Ask for a quiet room because of the busy road and the railway in the front.

Stopped off on the way back to the ferry. Ideal location close to major routes. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Brakfast is buffet style and plenty of it. Rooms are clean and there is a restaurant next door for an evening meal which serves home cooked food. A small shop in the reception area that sells toiletries if you've forgotten anything. There is a trainline nearby, but didn't disturb me during the night. Plenty of parking on site. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Room is very small but the breakfast is excellent 👌

The bathroom has a glass door: why??!? Very inconvenient, when you travel with friends
