Beautiful building from the 1400’s very well preserved. In the middle of a very nice village with lots to see and do. Working clock that chimes and has movement on the hours. Worth the visit.

Has a sweet koo-koo clock that rings on the hour in the afternoon.

The visit to Esslingen was a memorable one and I had the pleasure of visiting the surrounding areas of the Rathaus and also, attended a wedding in the historic building which was exceptional and I love the design of the entire building. It's got character and history as well as having an amazing view of the Esslingen burg. Would definitely recommend visiting the amazing location 😀😀👍

This pace was nice for setting cool architecture.

While exploring the Burg, bells rang out attracting us to look down towards the Rathaus, a wedding was in progress. We walked down the long wooden stairway, lunched outside at the tiny Rosenhaeusle, then made our way to the Rathaus, where the wedding guests were still assembled. The landau and white horses added to the attractive scene.

Showcases the best of Germany's middle age architecture. There are restaurants doted around the square.

👍 A nice park with open fields, canals and duck ponds. There is also a small hedge maze for children towards the city offices on the river and a river walk which ends at a dam and wooden footbridge. There are no playgrounds here but open fields for the kids to run in or set up a game of badminton, etc...
