My 1st time coming in (really a charming café). Not a coffee drinker, but it took everything in me to resist the Salted Caramel Brownie Latte (I’ll be honest, I don’t even know what it is, but the sound alone makes it worth trying). I chickened out and got the Raspberry iced tea (I’m used to playing it safe). Also enjoyed the ham & cheese croissant and the Yogurt parfait (with Greek yogurt, another 1st for me). All in all, I can see why this is an original favorite of Grosse Pointe Farms.

I finished my business in Detroit and had an hour or so to kill. I decided to look for local coffee along the way. It was cold and damp and coffee sounded like just the thing. Checking Google, I found Morning Glory Coffee - and what a find! From the minute I walked in the door I knew this was my kind of place. The lighting was warm and cozy, and I could see the wood furniture and wood surroundings that set a great tone and spoke to my soul. Then looking a little farther along I saw the pastry counter. I wasn't looking for pastry, though I admit I almost wavered seeing the fabulous pastries with their beautiful designs and various shapes. I pulled myself away and a little farther along and found the coffee counter! Just what I was looking for! The menu was about what you would expect and I ordered a latte. I headed back toward the entrance where I remembered seeing a fireplace behind glass with an impressive flame. The table for two in front of the fireplace was available, so I plopped down, took off my jacket, and just melted into the environment. I didn't even look at my phone for 10 minutes. A record for me probably. I just closed my eyes and listened to the sounds of the people talking and chatting as they ate their pastries and drank their coffee. Very relaxing after my drive there and in anticipation of my drive to the Detroit airport. The coffee was fabulous - just what I needed. So after 30 minutes or so I resumed my journey to catch my big old jet airliner. If you're looking for a quaint coffee shop, this is just the place for you. The staff was excellent and the fair was perfect. If you're in town shopping, and you need a place to stop for a break, possibly with a friend, you will find this an excellent resting locale. I highly recommend Morning Glory Coffee.

Really enjoyed our visit here. The customer service was great! There are lots of seating options. Everything our group had was enjoyed. The cheddar bacon biscuit was to die for. And I have heard the turkey vegetable soup was delicious too. This place sells gelato which is pretty cool (not sure how good it is). There is also a cute fireplace for customers to enjoy and sit next too. I would absolutely return and bring my friends!

Great coffee wonderful customer service and the pastries were ok, that day, (beautiful looking in the display though) and the ambiance was delightful. The area is super small so take it to go and find yourself a bench taking in this charming Hallmarkish town or like me taking a stroll certainly puts a smile on my face. I would certainly come back again.

Great place to see what’s poppin in GP! Love the cow outside and the frames animals inside. In cafe Music was great as well - had a nice 90s vibe going.

“This is the best wedding cake we have ever had!” Was a recurring exclamation heard throughout our wedding reception. Morning Glory did a fantastic job with our wedding cake, from the design process to the final product of our beautiful 2-layer cake, and two full sheets of cake for guests as well! They were a pleasure to work with and we would gladly recommend them to anyone planning their special day, wedding or otherwise.

We love the food, drinks, and atmosphere, but seriously, no changing tables in the bathrooms? A simple changing table is an easy add, and we won't be coming back until Morning Glory gets with the 21st century.

While the vision for the cake and cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding shower was not what I expected, they were amazingly delicious. The white cake was moist, the buttercream was light and airy and the chantilly cream layer in the cake was…yum! Guests were raving! I would definitely recommend using Morning Glory for your event, but suggest providing an inspiration pic to achieve your vision.

I really want to live Morning Glory. It’s the closest coffee shop to home and it’s a charming atmosphere. But after three bad experiences, I’m done with it. Twice during recent visits my coffee was cold. The first time it was a latte and when I told them they just gave it a hit with the frothing steam, so it became a weak lukewarm latte. The next visit I decided to order a hot americano, thinking that would definitely be hot - it wasn’t. Then this morning, I went in and decided to get an iced americano with almond milk. It was made fine but it was $7.16! That’s ridiculous! I won’t be going back. Oh, and while I was waiting for my order a woman brought her latte back up complaining it wasn’t hot.

Baristas are super friendly. First cafe I've been able to eat food at thanks to having nut-free options. The music isn't too loud and provides ambiance when you want it, and doesn't compete with your headphones when you don't want it. It's in Google as $$ but honestly, it's competitive in price compared to other coffee shops in the area. New favorite spot.

This is our favorite shop lately. The sheltered patio is perfect for a rainy weekend morning coffee. The coffee is great and the staff is friendly and quick. Love this place. So do our dogs.

Perfect price point for what is offered/served. The wait is usually a little longer than I would like. I understand it is important to talk to customers but it is also important to make sure your customers get their coffee and pastries quickly. Coffee is good. The desserts I have had are ok. The icing to cupcake portion is out of whack. I buy a cupcake to taste the cake with a bit of icing for extra flavor. I don't purchase cupcakes to eat icing. Cool atmosphere though.

My partner bought me a cake for our anniversary and it was the MOST EXCELLENT cake I've ever received. Morning Glory's pricing is also extremely reasonable. If you would please consider making pitbull-type cakes or cakes of different colours I would literally buy your cakes all the time and pay double the price!!! I work for a local rescue, Paws for Life, and this is perfect for birthdays, adoption days, fundraisers, etc. Please consider it!

We got our wedding cake through Morning Glory and everything was excellent. They made an effort to make the tasting special, gave great advice on decorating it and suggested alternate options that stayed within the package price. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. Everyone was raving about the flavor.

This is the cutest Coffee Shop. They have a nice outdoor seating area that will totally protect you from the rain. I purchased mini pastries, beignets and a really strong Mocha and was impressed. Will be visiting again.

You guys did an awesome job on our wedding cake! The cake was a mocha choc. With Barvarian cream & a dark choc. gauche drip, so moist, everyone wanted seconds. Absolutely Beautiful!! You made our night.

We ordered cookies and cupcakes for an event at the War Memorial. Both items were absolutely perfect. We went with simple cupcakes and a printed image on the cookies. The cookies were wrapped and ready for grab and go for our guests. Everyone was very impressed with how tasty everything was and we were so happy with the ease of ordering and pickup of the goodies. Thank you so much!

😠 Came to this place to try for the first time. Walked in and was told it was a 15 minute wait which is understandable for a Friday night. Unfortunately, we had an impatient four year old with us so we decided to order takeout and my fiancé stayed while I took my son home and waited for the food. This...
