5/5 Tim P. 2 years ago on Google
I
finished
my
business
in
Detroit
and
had
an
hour
or
so
to
kill.
I
decided
to
look
for
local
coffee
along
the
way.
It
was
cold
and
damp
and
coffee
sounded
like
just
the
thing.
Checking
Google,
I
found
Morning
Glory
Coffee
-
and
what
a
find!
From
the
minute
I
walked
in
the
door
I
knew
this
was
my
kind
of
place.
The
lighting
was
warm
and
cozy,
and
I
could
see
the
wood
furniture
and
wood
surroundings
that
set
a
great
tone
and
spoke
to
my
soul.
Then
looking
a
little
farther
along
I
saw
the
pastry
counter.
I
wasn't
looking
for
pastry,
though
I
admit
I
almost
wavered
seeing
the
fabulous
pastries
with
their
beautiful
designs
and
various
shapes.
I
pulled
myself
away
and
a
little
farther
along
and
found
the
coffee
counter!
Just
what
I
was
looking
for!
The
menu
was
about
what
you
would
expect
and
I
ordered
a
latte.
I
headed
back
toward
the
entrance
where
I
remembered
seeing
a
fireplace
behind
glass
with
an
impressive
flame.
The
table
for
two
in
front
of
the
fireplace
was
available,
so
I
plopped
down,
took
off
my
jacket,
and
just
melted
into
the
environment.
I
didn't
even
look
at
my
phone
for
10
minutes.
A
record
for
me
probably.
I
just
closed
my
eyes
and
listened
to
the
sounds
of
the
people
talking
and
chatting
as
they
ate
their
pastries
and
drank
their
coffee.
Very
relaxing
after
my
drive
there
and
in
anticipation
of
my
drive
to
the
Detroit
airport.
The
coffee
was
fabulous
-
just
what
I
needed.
So
after
30
minutes
or
so
I
resumed
my
journey
to
catch
my
big
old
jet
airliner.
If
you're
looking
for
a
quaint
coffee
shop,
this
is
just
the
place
for
you.
The
staff
was
excellent
and
the
fair
was
perfect.
If
you're
in
town
shopping,
and
you
need
a
place
to
stop
for
a
break,
possibly
with
a
friend,
you
will
find
this
an
excellent
resting
locale.
I
highly
recommend
Morning
Glory
Coffee.
