Avoid this place. A shame the staff and service is not up to the expectations for a 4* hotel. The reception could not care less about getting the luggage in up the long stairs, “just carry it”. Also had to insist to get the info how to get the car in the garage, “just park it outside on the street” was the answer I got for 2 or 3 times. The breakfast staff, or the coordinator who was there, was the worst. He turned off the coffee machine and closed the curtains before the official breakfast closing time: so I’m sitting there in a 4* hotel finishing my breakfast and it gets dark. Upon complaints, he mentioned that it’s closing time and they can’t stay there all day. I’m intrigued by the relatively high rating on Maps, wouldn’t be surprised if they buy ratings.

Einmal vorweg. Ich bin zufrieden und hatte eine schöne Zeit. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und schön. Hat immer Spaß gemacht. Etwas zu wenig Sonnenschirme gab es aber sonst top. Die Zimmer sind sauber und es gibt alles was man braucht. Leider (für mich persönlich) sehr sehr hellhörig. Also ich mag es gerne todesstill 😅 musste mich dran gewöhnen. Aber durch das tägliche Meer / Pool Wasser und Sonnen war Ich dann doch so platt, dass ich gut geschlafen hab. Frühstück ist reichlich und es gibt alles was man so kennt. Manchmal ist etwas zu schnell vergriffen. Das liegt aber wohl an den gierigen Gästen die keinen Anstand mehr kennen 😅 Die Rezeption war meist besetzt und hat auch manchmal Deutsch gesprochen. Leider konnten einige nicht mal englisch. Aber mit Google Übersetzer geht alles. Das Wlan war leider nicht das beste. Da muss nachgebessert werden. In meinem Zimmer hatte ich keinen Empfang und musste mein eh schon kleines Datenvolumen benutzen. Aber war eh nicht so oft am Handy. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr großen und sauberen Hotel. Hier und da gibt es Verbesserungen aber das ist alles meckern auf hohem Niveau. Ich gebe mich gern auch mit weniger zufrieden. 👍🏻

The only good thing is the location near the beach but we are not sure how it got its 4 star. It is by far the worse hotel we stayed in and definitely not the cheapest one. We stayed in 2 star rated hotel and the rooms are much better than this original dim and dated rooms. We were shocked to say the least, you cant control the heat & a/c directly, the towels given are old, shampoo and soaps are like those budget motels. Reception service was poor and couldnt care less atittude. Nothing grand about this hotel less the size of the pool. Just a very poor experience.

Where to start!? Was supposed to spend 10 nights here and left on the seventh morning. The rooms are ok even if they don’t look anything like the images on the website. Pool area is nice to - the rest is a disaster. The breakfast is horrible with nothing but cakes and sugary treats. Dinner was awful and after sending back a cold and dry piece of fish I got an lukewarm and equally dry fish. The cleaning is poorly done and the floors in the restaurant so dirty you wouldn’t believe it. I can go on and on here. All of the above is not the worst though as 80% of the staff was if not unfriendly so as close to it as possible. My wife speaks fluent Italian but even she was treated like she was a nuisance if we asked for anything. We arrived two hour before check, a lot of luggage and 11 month old baby. They wanted 20€ extra for getting the room early... We asked about parking and was told to park in the street. We later found out that the hotel had free parking for guests in a enclosed space. Asking for a toddler seat was like having the staff making us a huge favour. All week was like this. The good thing with our stay was the other guests who was nice and very agreeable to us and our baby boy. Many complaints from them though- especially about the poor food.

It is a nice hotel with friendly stuff and a beautiful swimming pool and spa. But it is very noisy. The floor is marvel even in the foyer and (I suspect) in the kitchen and the stuff pushes little carts for service. The marble is nice and elegant, and the carts are practical, I’m sure but these carts on the marvel floor are extremely noisy in a way it borders unbearable, as its echoes upstairs. It may sounds odd but you can hardly sleep. I am really resilient to noises, and sleep well almost everywhere but this is extreme. Plus the doors are not soundproof as well to add a bit to the annoyment. It is a shame, because besides this, all is OK.

Grosseto is absolutely beautiful and was much needed after spending time in Rome. This hotel was stunning, inside and out. The hotel staff are friendly, professional and always ready to help! The spa was AMAZING!!! They have everything from a pool, to a sauna, to a jacuzzi and to massages! Their breakfast offers a wide variety of fruits, pastries, cheese and deli meat. There are not many hot food items. Their dinner, which requires a reservation, was good. Their fried calamari and shrimp basket was very good, and their seafood gnocchi was out of this world! The other items were not as tasty, but decent! The room was adequate (small shower), but nothing special. Towels and bathrobes were extra on top of the price for the stay.

Nice hotel. A bit crowded somethimes. Welness perfect but better control would be perfect. We saw a 40+guy making strange contact with an underage girl i estimate around 15... this was not ok... Breakfast ok, rooms a bit boring. The facilities in the hotel are very nice.

Grosseto is apparently a total hidden gem, and as an American this place was absolutely perfect for a few days outside of the busy city. The hotel is perfectly located and even though the beach is super close, the hotel pool and spa was so wonderful you don’t need to leave it if you’d rather simply soak up the Italian sun with all the amenities you need just steps away. Great shower pressure and robust European breakfast of fresh pastries, fruit and espresso. Would absolutely stay here again. Wish we knew more of what was going on in the town since not much can be found in English online (this would be very helpful at checkin...) so be sure and know as much basic Italian as possible. The perfect beach and/or spa resort getaway.

Es war alles sehr ordentlich und sauber, das Personal äußerst freundlich und stets hilfsbereit und ansprechbar. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück sowie dessen Qualität war ebenfalls gut. Der einzige Makel war, dass die Räumlichkeiten sowie die Ausstattung beim Frühstück nicht ausreichend für alle Gäste war, sodass man beim Frühstück immer auf einen freien Tisch warten musste. Auch fehlten zum Teil Gläser und Tassen. Das Personal war auch hier sehr bemüht, konnte aber aufgrund der Kapazitäten auch nicht dafür sorgen, dass jeder direkt seinen Tisch fand. Dennoch würde ich wieder in dieses Hotel fahren.

Die Therme ist unverbesserlich, das Zimmer entspricht eher 2/3 Sterne

Wonderful hotel! Very honest. Nice rooms , clean and everything that you need. The swimming pools are incredible also , very clean. Very close to the beach. The breakfast is very good too, the restaurant is very nice. Recommend!
