The beach and boulevard have been greatly improved since our last visit. Playa San Juan is now a pleasant destination to enjoy South Tenerife without the commercial hustle and bustle in the nearby resorts. Compliments for the #accessibilty walk boards and covered area for wheelchairs on the actual beach.

Our holiday in Tenerife was very intense. We visited many beautiful and interesting beaches. It is also characteristic of all beaches that they have good restaurants and bars nearby. We came across a great one at Playa de San Juan. The beach itself is interesting, sand that is suitable for a beach.

Cosy stone beach with lovely view☺️✨ Easy to access even with baby stroller thanks to the wood board towards to the seashore👶✨.

Nice beach, mostly visited by older people. No waves, a lot of boats in the nearby harbour. Recommended for sunbathing, well protected from the wind. Not great for swimming.

Town is nice and friendly, but beach is on the rough side. Black sand with gravel and stone, did not dare to step into the sea. You will definitely need your shoes on to get into the sea.

Nice quiet sandy beach with all facilities, lifeguard, surrounded by restaurants. Steps leading up to a beautiful cliff walk towards Abama with great views, recommended especially at sunset.

Nice beach. Sand on top. Stones close to the Shore. Clean unisex Toilet. Fair coffee prices 1.5 € with friendly direct beach service. Free parking. Lifeguard and good swimming place. Enjoy

Lovely little town, nice beach. Plenty to see. Nice stop off on our car tour. Didn't stop here for long but did walk around the coast with stunning scenery. It looked like they were setting up for a concert but there were no signs as to what it was about.

👍👍 When visiting Tenerife this beach it's a must visit. Very nice and cosy location, great sand and great views for sunset. To get there it takes a bit o work but it's worth it. You cand do it by foot by the stairs ( the elevator still not working) all around by car but no parking places availble right...

👍 A group of 3 black sand beaches that offer repair from the ocean waves. The parking is nearby and services are on the beach or walking distance. It may be crowded especially in the weekends

👍 Nice little beach accessible only during low tide. Not very suitable for swimming as there are big stones just after you enter the water. There is a ladder to access the water for swimming nearby. Can do snorkeling, but the water is not very clear.
