The legendary Sandy's has changed hands but the legend lives on ! It's still a wonderful and genuine local bar with great character and characters. The new owners are really welcoming and it's still the best bar in Playa San Juan by a country mile.

At just 15 minutes ride from Puerto de Santiago, close to Playa de San Juan, you'll find a little amazing seafood place, Solo del Mar! We arrived at closing time but the staff were welcoming and accommodating! We had Calamares, Choco and Caballa a la plancha and a good bottle of wine at a very reasonable price and everything was fresh and delicious! Definitely the place to go if you are after simple and fresh seafood ... we are gonna be back before leaving Tenerife!

Food was incredible. We had the chipirones and the gambas. Best we had in the islands.
