I notice that several reviews commented on poor service. I thought service, food and ambience was excellent up to bill paying time. Our bill was for $800 p and since we did not have the correct amount we gave the waiter $1200 p and then waited. And waited and waited. We could see the cashier and waiter glancing at us and thought, surely they aren’t expecting a $400 p tip on an $800 p bill. After a 10 minute wait the waiter LOUDLY asked us from the other side of the room, ARE YOU WAITING FOR YOUR CHANGE? It was embarrassing. We said yes and then begrudgingly left the 15% tip we had intended to leave in the first place. You couln’t drag me back in there with a team of work horses.

It's an authentic French bistro. Servers were friendly and helpful. I ordered their escargots and duck confit, signature dishes from France. I found the escargots tasty but the duck leg was a little dry. The atmosphere was nice. There was a guy playing piano there.

House sangría with escargots on the patio with live music on a Friday afternoon with my hubby, they have valet parking and sangria to go, life is good when you can come out here just to relax with good service and great food cheers..... They have a very large drink menu🍷🍾🥂🍹🍸🥃

It's not my first time here. I know this place from a while ago and it representa a good choice for French food in Guadalajara. It's very well known and popular among doctors, so you can say pretty much that they have a cautive target with them. Every time I've come the food is truly enjoyable and close to French cuisine. I guess I can say my favourite dishea here and I can attest they're good are the L'Entrecôte Roquefort and the Filet Mignon. I must say comparing the scargots here to those I had a few weeks ago at Balthazar in NY, the Balthazar's were way much better, more moisty and buttery. This time I had some of the specials they offered and even it wasn't bad at all, I expected more from them. The dish I had this time was the confited duck in fig sauce. While the duck was truly savory and well cooked, the fig sauce was more like a mermelade. I can say the sauce was in the way of the extremely delicious duck. The fig sauce tasted more like any fig jam jar sold at any supermarket. Still they keep the quality of French cuisine. The only detail I can see at this place I didn't like this time is the service and reason for giving 4 stars. While service is ok, the servers get lost once they take your order and you have to call them in case you need anything, like another drink, there's a new guest, whatever, they are not really paying attention of the clients. Other than that I can recommend this place for a good French cuisine experience and probably will come back for a next time.

The food is exquisite, the service is the best, they make you feel at home in a nice environment. For us, is the place to go for special occasions, and to treat ourselves everyday too. Delicious food . There is live piano or accordion playing . Place with its charm and history , it is now 40 years old. Very nice French restaurant .

The food, drinks and dessert are just delicious there's no way to choose wrong. The place is all tidy and neat, many reviews say the service wasn't good, I say otherwise, really good service and everybody made sure we were doing well. Great prices for what you get.

The fillet mignon dish was tasty, not the meat so much as the sauce and veggies. Those were fantastic! The escargot wasn't bad but not my favorite. If you prefer buttery, garlic escargot, you will be disappointed, as these are herbal. They do, however, offer different quantities than the 6 shown in the menu. The chicken and mushroom appetizer was okay, but nothing I'd order again. There was fresh bread and butter that I really enjoyed. The red wine list was a bit disappointing. I was looking for a Pinot noir and the cheapest option was 1000 pesos. Considering there were other red and white options for 200-300, I was very disappointed. The live piano music was in good taste and wasn't too loud to enjoy conversation. I'd go back, but I'll try another French restaurant first.

Lacking upholstered chairs look old and worn, quiet place to talk excellent gastronomy

The food presentation clearly showed the traditional French cuisine. The taste of the food was delicious, the restaurant fancy and traditional, and the piano music was beautiful.

Upscale nice fancy and classic French dishes. The ambience is very much like an old Parisian restaurant.

Really nice food and excellent service

Cozy little french restaurant with pretty good food and nice personnel. Only thing I didn't enjoy that much was their bearnaise. Too much vinagre and more of a paste than a sauce.
