My absolute favorite fish taco place and one of my favorite places in Gdl! Just love how you can put everything you want on your taco. Really recommend going there.

The place has a great atmosphere and food, but if you didn't have the time to stand in line — you are not missing out on the best tacos of your life :) Definitely try their ceviches and drinks.

I love this place so much! I realized it was another location of the same place featured on the fish taco episode of Netflix's Taco Chronicles after the fact. So that was kind of cool. The fish tacos are great. Crispy, perfectly breaded. You can make two tacos out of one they're so big with the filet and the double tortilla. I love the aguas frescas especially the horchata. They have a bar with every topping you could want for your taco and seemingly every option of hot sauce too. And it's really affordable. I especially recommend going on Saturdays. It's very busy but fun with all the energy of the people and at least when I was there, live street music. Definitely recommend!

If you're on the hunt for the best fish tacos in Guadalajara, look no further than taco Fish la Paz. With their unlimited salad options, this place is a haven for fish taco enthusiasts. However, it's important to note that they only accept cash payments. While the service is fast and efficient, the taqueros might not be the friendliest. Nevertheless, the exceptional taste and variety of fish tacos make it a worthwhile experience for any seafood lover. This branch is better than the one in Colonia Americana.

Busy first thing in the morning. Liked the concept of chose your own toppings and about 20 different hot sauces but overall the tacos didn't hit the spot. Good to check out but not a must

Saved the best seafood taco place for last! This was an experience that was so good, my friends and I all agreed to come back for more. We got there after 4 pm and the place was packed. There's a line up to order that looked like a theater line at an opening for a hit movie. But don't worry - it moved fast. Two big surprises: the taste of the fish tacos and the low price! Please note that I like the odd greasy food like fish and chips, so this place really satisfied my craving for fried seafood. The tacos were huge! I'd say they were about the size of four regular tacos that you would normally get at any given taco stand. The condiments were amazing as well. There were two long food stands that had fresh coleslaw, onions, fried onions, tomato salsa and regular slawed cabbage. There were a million hot sauces in small bottles and about 5-6 different creamy sauces in squeeze bottles. I wanted to try all of them but ended up being too full after eating the first taco. The condiments were fresh due to the number of customers constantly eating there. I would hazard a guess that they served upwards of a few hundred per hour. I would recommend getting two tacos and loading up your plate with the veggies as a salad. Use the sauces as a salad dressing and sprinkle some of the hot sauces to give it a kick. In terms of drinks, there were waiters and waitresses that walked around and served you the drinks. They were readily available at all times. They really knew how to serve in chaos with so many customers sitting, standing, and walking around this street corner. Parking was a real problem because of the traffic from the large street and the small businesses in the side streets. But this pain was definitely worth it to get a taste of their tacos. If you're in Gudalajara, this is definitely a place you don't want to miss.

Best taco place of Guadalajara ! We went here on a thursday and it was very busy at 2 pm! It was very chaotic and we waited for 5 minutes while waiting for the order. If you are around the place you have to go there! This is a must see and must visit place! TIP: don't order too much at the beginning, 2 is way too much and I'm a big eater!

Jumping into the fray to agree that Taco Fish La Paz is amazing. From the taco de camarón especialades to the Marlin taco de dorado to taco de choyero y the barre de ensalada (y condiments), I've visited this busy casual outdoor restaurant no less than seven times over two trips to Guadalajara for a reason; that's the consistently great fresh seafood tacos. Never once disappointed. Get in line, order, pay, hand your ticket to the cooks, take your tacos to the rolling alimentos cart, throw carrot slaw, cebollas, pico, chipotle mayo, hot sauce on top y enjoy super tasty grande tacos at one of the several folding lunch tables for less than 100 pesos* I crave the tacos from TFLP both in GDL and when im back in the states. *With condiments, all I need is two tacos to be satisfied (but so good I could easily eat three)

No frills and thrills restaurant but let the food speak for itself. Shrimp and fish tacos come battered. Self serve condiments. Freshly made selection of juices. Absolutely delicious!!

Class food, self service all the salad and toppings. Great value

Food was awesome! Thinkni may have got a little food poisoning from the mayo... so stay away from that. Service was good, even for my limited Spanish. Atmosphere was a little "busy" for my liking, but may be normal or appreciated by others

Best fish tacos ever! Visited this place a few years ago and came back because it’s incredible. A little chaotic but that definitely adds to the overall vibes. If you’re struggling, they’re willing to help you. Warning, tacos are huge and will fill you up all the way to the brim.

Was staying at Hotel La Paz down the street and always saw the lines and decided to try this place based on the good reviews… Wasn’t disappointed. This place is great. Wasn’t too busy and food was really good. Price was fair. Would def recommend.

Some of THE most delicious tacos I've had in Mexico!! I ate the fish and shrimp tacos. Super affordable as well. A must-eat in Guadalajara!

  • 5/5 Aivi M. 11 months ago on Google
Definitely some of the best fish tacos we've ever had. This is a must if you visit Guadalajara. The line gets long to order, but moves pretty quick. The restrooms are some of the nicest and cleanest restrooms for an establishment that's as old as this one.

the tacos are cheap and delicious! the place was slammed when I was there, but the wait wasn't insanely long. they had a band out playing old Nintendo songs and it was awesome!

The last two experiences were not good. The shrimps are not fresh anymore. It looks like TACO JAIBA has been soaked in oil. I can't taste the crab taste. I can only taste the oil taste. The previous TACO LA PAZ was more delicious and I liked it better. Now they seem to have changed chefs. I hope they can improve the quality of their ingredients in the future. And strictly control the products.

So good we went 3 times! The shrimp tacos and ceviche tostados were our favourites but to be honest everything is delicious. Very well staffed too and staff are all super friendly. The salad bar is unbeatable and the array of sauces is mind-blowing - literally - some of them are super hot so take care! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great place for some Fish tacos, shrimp and octopus favorite's. Tostadas empanadas Price are reasonable $35-45 pesos for a taco fish or shrimp breaded or you can ask for it grilled. Water flavors are typically your usual Jamaica, Limon etc. Their salsa bar is great as well! Clean atmosphere live music and the view of visitors and locals is eye catching:) I highly recommend especially if your hungry the tacos are very well served!

Best fish tacos in town! Would definitely recommend the shrimp tacos.

  • 5/5 Ivan R. 2 years ago on Google
Great fish tacos are served here. The good is delicious, and they have a good variety of dishes, not to pricy. I think the only downside is that there is always allot of people, however I don't find it as a turndown.

    Best taco place ever!!!

  • 5/5 Sofia P. 2 years ago on Google
Wow This place is a huge bustle if activity. But they hop right in to move you along. They take your order, you walk up to the cashier to pay. Take your receipt exchange it for your plate. Now the fun begins. There's an island buffet of snatching you can imagine to enhancd your taco. A virtual salad bar , Cole slaw, cukes, onions, peppers, salsas, no end to the bottles of hot sauces. It's all outside with plenty of seating, it's was Ash Wed when I went. And super busy They bring you your drink . leave a tip

Best fish tacos in Mexico! The original restaurant is in the city La Paz but if you don’t have a chance to go there just try these ones.

  • 2/5 Nitzan M. 2 years ago on Google
Cool atmosphere but expected much more from the flavors. They have only fried options and it not fried fresh at the moment so, what makes it more soaked with the oil then tasty.

Delicious delicious delicious! The portion was generous! Staffs is really nice! We just tourists and don’t know how to order. But suddenly a guy approached us to get in line, show us the salsa counters and getting us the seat. And finally someone knows where is Bali, Indonesia is. 👏🏽 Btw salsa counter are amazing, a lot Of variety of salsa I just saw in my life. Food is amazing it does get busy during lunch time, so seating is limited!

They did not live up to the hype. Flavor was okay on both shrimp and fish fillet. Price was good but the flavor just was not there. I would say go try somewhere else and skip this spot. They have other things in the menu but after trying these basic tacos I just didn’t feel like trying anything else.
