Building from the 16th century, currently in use as a school. It is a place worth visiting. Inside, the Renaissance and neoclassical style patio stands out. Your visit is free

The complex of the Mendoza Palace and the Church of La Piedad, in Renaissance style, is today a public educational institute. You can visit it during opening hours, surrounded by the center's schoolchildren. One thinks about the luck of these students to be able to study in a historical monument.

Former palace of the powerful Mendoza family and then Convent of La Piedad, it was also a prison, museum, headquarters of the Provincial Council of Guadalajara and finally a secondary education institute. Of original Renaissance style, it has an attractive central patio with lintel galleries with stone columns and wooden footings and cornices, all walls decorated with glazed tiles. The guided tour only includes the patio and exterior.

It serves as the facilities of the Caracense Institute, excellent academic quality, for me one of the best in Guadalajara. Keep up the good work, bravo 👏

Palace with a lot of history which was transformed into an institute so that young people can attend ESO. Inside it is decorated with tiles and behind its doors there is a lot of history. It is worth visiting

Among the many artistic details of this building, which is one of the first built in Spain in the Renaissance style, are the capitals in the patio, all designed by Lorenzo Vázquez.

Truly incredible place, patio fruit of Italian Renaissance civil architecture, younger brother of the other palace in Guadalajara. Rest of the building without much interest (it is a school). The main entrance has two amazing doors as well. You can't miss it!

(Translated by Google) Today it is a secondary school. This so-called convent is an icon of the city of Guadalajara, and was an old palace of the Mendoza Family. In addition to these uses, it was a library and a jail.

A historic palace converted into a study center. Very good attention and explanation received. I recommend a cultural visit to Guadalajara To add a but, it caught my attention that the stairs that go up to the upper floor are not "fixed". They were uncomfortable, the tread of the steps was not straight and I imagine they will have a lot of student traffic.
