Beautiful place. Nice view from the viewpoint at the top, very very cool and new wooden stairs leading down to the valley which you can have a beautiful walk on and you will see some very pretty places in the gorge. Just a cool place to visit, definitely worth visiting! The wooden walkway was closed in March 2022 but no worries by climbing the small barrier, everybody is doing it and there were no risks at all for us.

Espetacular! Fomos até a barragem do Caldeirão e descemos pelos passadiços, que ainda estavam fechados, mas já é possível caminhar por lá até à Cascata. O mais complicado é a subida, mas valeu bem a pena!

Worth the visit and the long stairs. Views are stunning at sunset.

Really stunning place, well worth a visit. A lot of effort has gone into bukdiing the bridges. We went there for climbing but could not spot the routes sketched out by the guarda mountaineering club so will have to go back once we have found out!

From on top of a Dam that holds a nice lake, with public swimming and picnic areas. Looking down over the other side there are walkways with one timber stairway leading down to the valley below. It's possible to be picked up at the bottom via a winding road to save the long walk back up. Can be windy..
