Great local portuguese barbecue food in a small but cozy ambiance! Their focus is definitely on barbecuing cow & pig meat, the ones we tried were delicious, the "picanha" our favourite. Also the baked potatoes were very good. Their complete lunch menu is 9€ and if you order some meat (12€/13€) it comes with baked potatoes, rice & beans and vegetables. Great value! I would come back :)

Amazing meet, we followed the recommendations from the waiter to taste both the beef and the pork (Bola and lagartija respectively) and they were both amazingly tasty. The roasted potatoes, vegetables and rice with beans were also really good. The deserts amazing: both the one from the house as well as the creme brulée. No doubt why it is so popular within the local community. Also the local wine was fresh and good

Great place if you like good meat barbecue dishes. Simple, honest, affordable and with quite nice people.

Service was great and very friendly and even if we both didn't really understood each other we were able to find out what to order. We went with the mixed platter of beef and pork that he recommended to us. I can't be more thankful for that recommendation, perfectly grilled meat and tasty potatoes with great cabbage made our day end on a high note.

We were unlucky to miss our reservation by 35 minutes, and afterwards it felt like nothing went as smoothly as we would have liked. It was tight/we felt crammed with a stroller. We waited over an hour to be seated. The plate, which was the waiter's suggestion, was good but not great.

Family restaurant that specialises in meat. Perfectly cooked meat cuts and the best bean rice I've tasted. We had the 'Posta Mirandesa' (beef) and 'Lagartinhos' (pork ), at the front of the house's advise. The staff was very friendly. Reservation advised especially in COVID times. During our meal we heard several people being turned down for dinner because they were full (it's a small restaurant). Note that this restaurant only serves meat.

We found this place because of the delicious smells drifting in the air. We were lucky to get a table, because they were turning people away. The smell of grilled meat did not disappoint. Rice with beans, cabbage everything was Absolutely delicious!!!

Muito sabroso! As they say in Portugal. If you're visiting Guarda, definitely do not miss this gem. The grilled "smokey" meats are delicious. The rice and beans amazing! The potatoes rich in colour and flavour. And the selection of wines is great!

Awesome and tasteful food. Cosy environment with attentioned staff. Could have card payment but, nevertheless, a great experience.

Great service! Cook/chef came to our table, as did the gentleman grilling the meat. Food was exceptionally good and served in a timely manner! Highly recommend!
