We ordered bacalhaou con natas it was delicious. Such a warm welcome. the staff is super friendly and food is really really tasty. I will come back 100%. Love it

10/09/2023 . Coming from Bretagne in France for a large Road Trip in Portugal . Our third stop was at Guarda. We went 2 times in this restaurant downtow where the clients are mostly the natives ... 😉 Just a genuine local Portugal meal, well prepaired and served with nice smile and natural pleasure... Excellent moments . Perfect atmosphere, welcome and exchanges fully true with the locals . We eated the Bacalhau na brasa and cabritinho de leite. We should like to give 6 stars 👌 we recommend .

A pleasant surprise! I absolutely LOVE the food. Amazing taste, generous portion (we can't finished at all) The service is also amazing like a cherry on a cake. I recommend Enchidos da regiao, bacalhau a bras, bacalhau c/ Natas, Cabrito Grelhado. If I come back to this region i will return!

Top level family food. Very well dressed table, perfect service, authentic dishes. I recommend of course the Bacalhau a bras very well served. And the grilled goat. For a shared starter try the grilled sausage mix. If you are looking for a wine to go with i recommend the douro (valle do nideo). The menu is in french and english as well.

We had a great dinner in Bella Horizonte. Two elderly people running the restaurant with one younger guy who speaks a bit of English. Main courses are huge and very tasty. The wine selection was limited but the reserva we ordered was excellent. If you are looking for some traditional home cooked type of food this is the place.

Very traditional restaurant that seemed to be opened since forever. The staff was very welcoming and the food was amazing. If you find yourself looking for a meal in your way back home, taking a little detour will be worth the time.

Fantastic restaurant with really home made food. The staff is very friendly and the space is very cosy. I asked for the "Chanfana", who was absolutely delightful. Highly recommended if you are looking for regional food with that home made touch.

Good food, great price, and excellent hospitality. Fresh meat and fish. They do wine take away.
