There is no better place to stay in Guayaquil City. The rooms and beds are standard Hilton excellence. The amenities and view from the executive lounge are exquisite. The chef in charge of breakfast is a true master, perfectly poached eggs, baked ham with a beautiful crispy skin, etc. (If you enjoy entertaining travel and cooking videos, please visit CuisineQuest on YouTube!)

Hotel is like a resort. Only thing missing is a beach. The locals are super nice. The breakfast is amazing and the dinner is a good combination of familiar and different cuisines. Would definitely recommend eating here.

This is one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel. The room was perfect. The service was great from the front counter to the restaurants. I was a little concerned with all the security, especially at the front door. Also, they used metal detectors. I am glad to report that there were no incidents.

I usually do not like to leave bad reviews but at this point I think it is required from me. In my opinion, this hotel is a health hazard just because it is so MOLDY the smell of mildew is everywhere besides the atrium. We stayed here because of a long layover and it was close to the airport. We had a room on the first floor… as soon as the elevator doors open, the smell of mildewy dirty carpet, walls, everything…. gives you a headache straight away. I feel really bad for the staff who work there everyday… in my opinion the hotel should be closed and sanitized. I am wondering if it should not be reported to the Health Authorities… Otherwise, besides the Atrium… nothing really to write home about. Very average and expensive without reason.

I used the buffet brunch and it was good. You can drink beer, water, carbonated drinks, coffee, wine and juices. It has a section of desserts and salt food, fruit and other stuff. I really enjoy this buffet and I share a good time with a good friend. This place has a good atmosphere to close negotiations with your business partners or maybe talk with a good friend

Everything about the hotel is good. Only one day I met one Iberia crew blocked the elevatorS, not letting everyone else to get in but their people. Who do they think they are? It’s a hotel, not your the airport and not your flight! Shame on them!

Really friendly and helpful staff! They speak English&Spanish. Taxis are only $5 to and from the airport. Great views and breakfast. Room service is amazing! Very safe location

    - Poor service during new year celebration where we rented 8 rooms. 3 rooms were rented during 3 nights. - disabled passengers left waiting until 6 pm for a room ( checkin was at 2 pm), and he was only given a room when I called to put a complaint. - poor service at breakfast. We paid 63 USD for 2 people breakfast and had to wait 45 minutes for a cup of coffee. - poor service at breakfast on Jan 1st. No coffee, no people to attend breakfast, no bread, dirty tables and we were sent to another restaurant where they didn’t wanted to attend us. - poor service at pool area. I asked to buy 5 water bottles. It took 45 minutes to get the bottles of water and only because we went to complaint. - poor service at lobby area. No taxis available and when asked to bellboy to get a yellow taxi he wanted to sell his friend car as taxi ( no yellow car). When I asked for a formal yellow he say he cannot help. Hilton in Guayaquil is a 5 star hotel, but during this stay people working here behaved as 1 star hotel.

This truly is a five-star experience every time. We happen to go on an election weekend so there was no alcohol being served at their spectacular happy hour. That was the beginning of February 2023

Nice hotel with great services and food. Is a great option to have a great stay either for vacation and work. Is great option specially for business. This is one of the most biggest chains around the world but this one I Could say is one of the best.

Beautiful hotel lobby interior. The bed and pillows are some of the worst I’ve slept on unfortunately. They pillows look big and supportive, but when you lay down on them, they flatten out and the sides wrap around your head. Worst night of sleep I’ve ever had.

I've stayed a total of 7 days over the past two months. My most recent stay will be my last. I purchased the Sweeten your Stay package which is supposed to include a $50 on property credit. The hotel decided that I could only use my credit at Cafe Colon although that is NOT mentioned while booking. After arguing with them all day about it I finally ate at Cafe Colon and they had NO CLUE about my $50 credit and acted as if I tried to defraud them by charging to my room. So you are selling a package that no one in the hotel has a clue about. I have status with Hilton and have never encountered such inflexible policies. Not only that the service at the pool is TERRIBLE. The guy that runs the pool bar is quite possibly the worst bartender ever. He is selective about who he serves and one has to wonder if there is a racial aspect to his lack of service. The only good things in this hotel are the rooms, and Natalia and Melissa from the executive lounge. I will stay at the Marriott next time I'm in Guayaquil as the Hilton Colon will not receive another penny from me.

Excellent service! The staff is so good and helpful! The Spa is amazing with its services. Also the breakfast is superb and everything is delicious . Cafe colon is a great choice if you would like to eat smaller portions . I would highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and safety in Guayaquil!

I have experienced the best Comfortable accomodation, Round the clock services, Sparkling cleanliness, Quick response to the queries, Delicious food, Comfort beds, Pick up and Drop at arrangements and Smiles on the face at Hotel Hilton, Guayaquil, Equador. I recommend it to all who would like to enjoy their stay away from the home.

Beautiful hotel and excellent service. Very clean and professional. Only exception is service at Sal & Pimienta restaurant; I made a separate review on that web site.

Very nice Hilton hotel. About 15 minute walk to Mall del Sol. I stayed here after my Galápagos cruise and very happy with my stay here.

We have used this hotel for our medical missions in Guayaquil for years. The rooms are clean, the beds extremely comfortable, and the views are great. The best thing though is their food. Their breakfast buffet is the best I've ever had at a hotel. They have multiple venues for lunch and dinner and they are all fantastic. I would especially recommend their steakhouse and Sal y Pimienta

This hotel is one of our favorites in all of Ecuador. The executive lounge including the happy hour were superb! The service was excellent and they offered free parking. The staff was very nice and made sure we had everything we need. The pool and spa were amazing and easy to reserve. We highly recommend this hotel and the amazing breakfast!

Everything was wonderful about this place rooms clean and spacious. All food was delicious. But, where it really excels is the customer service with every single member of staff being brilliant. Especially Joshua and jhon of the cafe colon who were brilliant hosts and lovely to speak to. Please give it a try and thanks for my wonderful stay.

Ricardo at front desk and Freddy in breakfast room were outstanding and went above and beyond to provide top- notch service. Free airport shuttle. Beautiful outdoor pool with swim-up bar. Massages in the spa were excellent. And the Exec Lounge was terrific. We'll go again in 2024!

Good: breakfast have a lot options is delicious. Front desk service is so nice. Gym machines are a little old but there are a lot of options. Pool and wet zones are very nice. Opportunity: bouncer at the entry is so rude. People at the kitchen not nice, they say no to everything . Rooms smell old. Room doors closes very hard. So if your sleep is not so depth , it wakes you up the sound of the doors.

Great people work here! Breakfast is amazing! The room wasn't the best even though I was in one of the executive rooms and for the price I paid, I expected much better.

The very best of hotels in Guayaquil. Very good service, affordable to some, expensive to others depending on which floor you book, I was in the executive lounge floor(9th floor) and it has its amenities that the rest of the building does not have. I felt at home, I was pleased with their services and will book again. Thanks Hilton Colon Guayaquil.

Still a great performer but needs a facelift. Staff remains as professional and friendly as ever; the executive floor is still a good choice and the rooms are nicely appointed. They do go the extra mile to ensure safety in the current circumstance of the plandemic.

This review is mixed. The hotel is nice and clean. The parking was free. But there weren't enough towels. As soon we asked for additional towels they were brought up, so that was a save. The Direct TV was also glitchy, but they also took care of that right away. The only issue lingering Ng was the shower. The bathroom is really nice, but the shower drain is narrow so the water drains slowly and overflows causes mg a mess. Also, I had a Deluxe room that should have had two Queen beds, but they were two Full beds and instead. Fix these issues and this will be a 5 star hotel.

This hotel is fabulous. Once of the nicest rooms I have stayed in! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Dinner and the Deli were both fabulous. Service and Staff -5*! I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guayaquil. Airport and large shopping centre very close.

Overall it was a nice stay but definitely ruined when I realize I left a really nice shirt there and when I called, no one had “found” anything. I am 100% certain that I left the shirt there, and it’s sad that the employees at this hotel would take something instead of turning it in.

It was a good stay, I am a diamond member and everybody treated me well. Wish their staffs speak more English - that price and that global chain, some speak zero English. One of the meals, I had hard time paying my bill.

The staff here is very professional and courteous. I don't want to say it's not friendly, just very very professional! The breakfast is very delicious at the colon cafe. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The security guys are super helpful and answer all your questions! Van is quick as well. Close distance to the airport

Once the best hotel in Guayaquil it's now run down and not well maintained. The pool is still nice with the swim up bar and it has very large comfortable rooms but the wall paper everywhere is looking old, something with the carpet everywhere and the exterior of the building. Wish they would maintain it more. The service is still great.

Close to everything in Guayaquil Ecuador, the staff is very professional we stayed 15 days on the 8th floor's suite. Our balcony and terrace gave us an incredible view of new year's eve. Sunrise terrace and lounge food was something else. I will stay here for months

This hotel is very comfortable because it has comfortable furniture in the waiting room, the room is clean, comfortable, large, beautiful, and cozy when you are in it. The hotel is not noisy, it is quiet and elegant, it is touristy and very quiet. The room is cozy and huge.

Great hotel and acommodations! Food at the Cafe Colon is delicious especially the breakfast buffet is out of this world. It offers a wide selection of items ranging from American style items up to Ecuadorian shrimp and fish ceviche. I would recommend it 100%.

This was a fantastic property! The pool was gorgeous and kept up nicely and warm!! The kids had a great time. Service was top notch. I got an automatic upgrade to executive floor. We joined in for happy hour and the appetizers were filling. I would have liked a large selection of alcoholic beverages beyond beer and one selection of red and white wines. We even got a special welcome dessert in our room! That was a real treat! The hotel room itself was in good condition and everything was very clean. Free shuttle to and from the airport was a great service!

Love the customer service here, executive lounge had delicious snacks beer and wine. The view is amazing. Pillows are so comfortable. Clean and luxurious spa area, although not open during the hours posted. Only thing I don’t like is the laundry service, they charged for extra items and simple throw away items cost over $60 to clean. I suggest walking 5 mins to Mr. Jeff, the same items were washed for $7

Nice room, very nice people servicing Tricky shower, it is not full glass to cover splash out of shower, so you end up with water all over near the toilet, it doesn't close Tricky as well because you have to find hot water by turning it all and moving slightly until you find the comfortable spot, there is only one faucet. Breakfast at 6am, but you can only order omelette at 7am, if you're in a rush you cannot wait. They've got cacao which is good Very central location, nice presentation & fast service, it is good place

Hilton Colon Guayaquil is nicely located just minutes away from the airport and main shopping centers and restaurants. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel as both hotel staff and amenities (sauna, steam shower, indoor sauna, pool) are just great. Can't wait to stay at this hotel again.

It sad to experience such a beautiful place with poorly transportation organization. Even though they have shuttle buses it was very difficult to commute back and forth from the airport to the hotel. we was told that the shuttle buses go every hour and even though we will wait before the hour. No shuttle buses. To me it seems like it was just a scheme because they were very quick to get you a taxi even though there were two shuttle buses park right in front of the hotel. So hi, guys be prepared to pay forr rides.

Melissa on the executive floor is five stars! She was so kind and helpful, truly went out of her way to help us! It’s not a service that is frequently delivered in Ecuador. She deserves a raise and a promotion! She was by far the best part of our experience. Kind, friendly, informative, knowledgeable, efficient, etc. The front desk workers at the main entrance are more like two stars. They need to pay attention to which customers are waiting in line and service guests in order. Room was nice and spacious, also clean. Super comfy bed. The showers are so weird and I give them 1 star, which equates to overall 3 stars for the room. You can tell they cut major corners to save money with the showers, this is an important part of the hotel experience. I don’t know if I would stay here again just because of the showers. It has half of a glass door and a very small rain shower head that falls down right next to the wall. It’s one of those showers where you feel cold the whole time. The holiday inn express shower in Guayaquil outshines the Hilton’s shower x 100. This really should not be the case. Guys in the bar área were great! Chef made me a special salad and hand delivered it. Very attentive.
