One
of
the
many
amazing
things
about
Wisley
Garden
(RHS)
is
the
constant
blossom
somewhere,
at
any
day
of
the
year.
Even
in
the
mid
Winter-
and
not
just
inside
the
tropical
house,
but
also
outside
-
whether
it’s
crocuses,
snowdrops,
Camellias,
tulips,
daffodils,
roses…
and
thousands
of
other
annuals
and
perennials.
Each
visit
is
full
of
new
seasonal
surprises
and
beauty.
Another
thing
is
the
precision
and
masterful
design
with
which
each
little
corner
is
developed
into
a
unique
place-
there
isn’t
a
square
meter
unattended.
The
imaginative
design
and
thoughtful
planning
gone
into
creating
and
sustaining
Wisley
gardens
is
to
be
admired.
The
land
was
gifted
to
RHS
in
1905,
and
ever
since
the
creative
development
has
not
stopped!
Each
walk
is
a
sensory
discovery
of
a
new
life,
new
aroma,
a
new
colour.
My
favourites?
The
Bonsai
walk,
the
Horses
head
statue,
the
magnificent
Tropical
house,
the
Hilltop
view
educational
centre
with
wonderful
free
lectures
and
gardening
courses,
the
river
and
rockery
walks,
the
orchard,
the
ever-changing
colours
and
aromas
of
the
bulbs
plants,
the
variety
of
the
immaculate
green
houses,
the
beautifully
designed
garden
shop
(one
can
spend
a
small
fortune
each
visit),
the
restaurants,
the
hidden
paths
in
the
Oak
wood,
and
many
more.
There
is
plenty
to
see,
plenty
to
walk,
plenty
to
breathe,
and
plenty
to
learn.
And
all
of
it
is
topped
with
a
fantastically
helpful
army
of
staff
and
volunteers,
always
in
a
marvellously
friendly
mood
and
with
a
great
helpful
attitude!
Must
mention
that
almost
all
of
the
garden
has
been
made
accessible
for
disabled
people
via
wide
paths
and
alleys,
by
providing
motor
scooters
which
can
be
pre-booked.
A
brilliant,
refreshing
and
stress-relieving
experience!
