Decent prices, nice beer garden. Doesn't take card unless it's over £10 though, which seems a little excessive compared to most places (any amount or a fiver). Probably get away with it due to there being a cashachi e literally over the road.

Fabulous fresh home made food at reasonable prices. Nothing frozen. Good service. Lovely beer garden for summer. Slightly higher prices on beer than other offerings in town. Well behaved clientele with live bands and enterainment Fridays / Saturdays. Excellent Sunday lunch and weekday specials.

2 if us booked a table for Sunday lunch. I have food intolerances. Which means it can be hard for me. I spoke with the owner he is lovely. As they only offer Sunday lunch he offered to ask the kitchen what they could offer me as an alternative. I was impressed that they would do that for me. I opted to just have meat, mashed and roasted potatoes with lots of gravy. When we arrived we were told which table was ours. It was a small table for 2 people. As we were getting our drinks the owner came out and asked if we would care to move to a larger table. We accepted his kind offer. It was just as well as we were joined by another friend who lives in Guisborough for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their lunch 😊

Amazing pub serving an amazing pint of Old Peculiar at an amazing reasonable price.Landlord very friendly as was other bar staff and regulars friendly too.We never tried the food but the locals informed me it has "top nosh"Well worth a pop in just to see the classy beer garden.

Would be nice if they could answer the phone on a Sunday dinner time . But no so walked down for Sunday dinner to find their was no chef and kitchen closed

Just had a few drinks and the most amazing parmo here,, the best I've ever had, great service and the staff are so welcoming and friendly.. Will definitely be back.. Fabulous outside seating area too.. Fabulous pub. 😍

Popped in for evening meal. Good value and decent food (on the evidence of we had). Friendly staff and a good atmosphere in the pub with a mixture of ages in there. Really great to see it back. Guisborough needs this and we wish them all the best.

Nice pub newly reopened. Lovely big beer garden out the back of the pub. Lots of parking nearby.

Fantastic Live music experience with a great upstairs garden terrace. Friendly and outstanding service from the staff, will definitely be returning again soon!

Never set foot in this place till this moment very atmospheric, good beers, great place to have a nice drink and relax, will be visiting again.

Nice old school pub, a bit rough around the edges, a good atmosphere though , the Theakstons old peculiar beer was as perfect as it gets.
