Really good food here with great service. I had bean enchiladas with chili verde and carnitas, it was excellent. I tasted the cheese enchiladas with the red sauce and it was excellent too. I tasted the tamale and it was really good. I did not try the quesadilla but my kid enjoyed it. This is a must go to place in Gunnison.

This family run hole in the wall had some wonderful margaritas, cold beer, but most importantly great tasting home made food. I can highly recommend this location. Come early as the place fills up quickly after 1800. As per usual, I did not take pictures of the food until after I already polished off half of it. Tasted great. First time I had a Chef’s burrito with all the meats cut up and mixed in one burrito. Beef, Chicken, Pork, and Shrimp. I enjoyed it!!

Fantastic! We stopped in at this little place half way through a long drive and it was perfect. The margarita was excellent and they had a nice menu. It was pricier than mexican food generally in Colorado but it's not a large town and the food was definitely worth it. We were a large group and everyone loved there dinners!

Food was really good, but had to wait for almost an hour for the food and they weren't busy.

Great food, bad waitress! Our friends took us there and told us it had great food, and they didn’t lie. Their salsa was on point and the food was really good. The only problem was the waitress, she was rude, acted like she was in a rush, and is understandable but a least she could have tried to take our kids drink orders. I Ask questions about what she recommended and her answer was ignorant and not helpful at all.

First and only time through Gunnison, stopped for an early dinner. Chips were fresh and crunchy, and salsa had a good kick to it! Tamale was flavorful. Black refried beans were good and rice was OK (a little plain tasting, but that's what makes it good to mix with beans and salsa). Seating is somewhat limited, but nice little spot. Would stop in again if ever in the area.

Seriously, one of the best margaritas I've had in a long time. The chips and salsa are good and the queso was really excellent. Each of the three of us enjoyed what we ordered (chicken burrito, chicken, chimichanga, and a combo plate). If you're into mole, their sauce is particularly sweet so order at your own risk! I liked it more than my wife did, but I recommend seeing if you can taste it before ordering a dish with it. Otherwise, everything was just really good Mexican food!

This place is small and fills quickly. We went in at about 530 on a Saturday and waited for a table for four for only about 20 minutes. Our waitress was quick, kind and had a great memory. She was getting all the tables orders without writing anything down and not missing a beat. The food and margaritas were delicious. My husband said he would drive an extra 60 miles just to have the beef burrito.

I ordered two tacos. No cheese and flavor was average. Prices too high and atmosphere was not very chill.

Long room with a bar running a great length from front towards the back. The food was delicious, and the initial indicator is the salsa. Bravo

This is a top rated Mexican restaurant by the majority of people who have eaten here. I highly recommend based on my experiences and never had a bad meal. The Margaritas excellent and are made from scratch from house to Top Shelf. A++++++

We've lived here since this restaurant was created. It's still my son's favorite place to eat. It's my favorite for Margarita's.!!

Some friends from Montrose love this place. Met them there at their request and agreed it was good and inexpensive for the quality of food. Be sure to go early evening for happy hour specials on Margs! Wish I could give a better review but it was one meals one night.

Unique Mexican food run by a nice family. The place is small and seating is limited so show up early. You can reserve one table if you have 6 or 7. The margaritas are stroooooong.

First time in town and this place was highly recommended by a lot of people so we decided to try it. I ordered the steak fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken enchiladas. He said that the enchiladas were fantastic but that the rice was tasteless. The fajitas were okay (it was the first time I've ever had fajitas with mushrooms). I ordered the fajitas for 2 and it was just enough for one, instead of getting black beans, I got very runny pinto beans and the rice was bland. The guacamole had too much onion in it as that was the only thing I could taste. The flour tortillas were excellent. It's in a convenient location but overrated.

The beef guisado was yummy. The salsa was a little spicy and excellent flavor. I rarely find spicy salsa at restaurants. The rice was one of the best I’ve had. I typically don’t enjoy Mexican rice. The margarita was potent and very flavorful. Glad we stopped on our way through Colorado.
