From the get go service was slightly slow, but that is totally understandable in today's world. The servers were all very friendly and were always smiling. We ordered lunch, and got the pub eggs as an appetizer. We were not disappointed by the flavor they delivered!! Everyone was pleased with their meals, and the portions are pretty large! Definitely a place to stop in and eat if you're hungry and looking to fill up!

Nice place to sit down and have a meal, pretty atmosphere they have a dining section or you can sit by the bar. The waitress was friendly but didn't know to much about happy hour...she said it's beer and wine....so we ordered a draft beer and then another and it was still 11 dollars....that's not much of a happy hour. The food was good, didn't have to wait too long til the appetizer or food was served. The straws for the drinks were awful...like drinking from a toilet paper roll...didn't like that part lol The taco salad was good but the whole bottom was practically a whole head of lettuce...I was ok with it but if you don't want a whole head don't order the taco salad. The price was 55 bucks for 2 people thats including an appetizer 2 entrees and drinks. Other then that it was a nice, cozy place to eat. We would eat here again if in town.

Nice looking place from the outside. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, service was super slow. After being seated waited ten minutes to get drinks ordered. Once food was ordered it took an hour to get our order. Several tables of whom I assume were locals as the staff greeted them by name. Ordered and received their meals before us. A few tables finished up and left before we received our food. Food was okay but I would not recommend this place.

Looked good from outside but the food was only ok. It took the waiter 15 min to bring 2 beers and over 45 min for 3 dinner plates. We were placed in a corner (inside) and it was very cold. Honestly hard pass next time

Had dinner 2x. Green chile burger and prime rib. Both meals were good as was the service. New Belgium juicy/hazy was very tasty.

Was referred by the Ol Miner restaurant when their cooker went down. We were in a hurry to get to church. Nicole our waitress took our order and the food came out in a timely manner. It was the most tender steak we have ever eaten at a restaurant. Good food, atmosphere, and service. Highly recommend. Wished we had one of these in Louisiana. Nicole was a very friendly sweet waitress.

In Colorado for a few days, we’re near Gunnison and decided to find a place to have a good meal. I had the Ribeye, it was pretty dang good. It was a bit over cooked but full of flavor. The mixed vegetables were good, and the baked potato was fantastic. The kids had chicken fried chicken and a sirloin and they both said it was good.

I live around here and I really like this place. Love it for what it is. It’s a local haunt, a really fun bar full of regulars. They have an excellent, attentive, friendly team who work there. Think “Cheers,” where everybody knows your name. I love the relaxed vibe. The food has always been simple and mainstream, but really great, consistently prepared with artful skill. Fill your belly with a wide variety of options. It’s easiest to eat here if you don’t have a bunch of dietary restrictions, but they are helpful at modifying the menu items to make it work for those special requests. Thank you Palisade for years of excellent food and fun, and here’s to many more to come!

Great experience with patio seating and having our great dance join us. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered the fish and chips and it was very tasty though one piece was slightly overcooked. The onion rings were very good and my daughter enjoyed her fried shrimp.

I am from the south, NC. This place is a little taste of home, right here in Gunnison, CO. Not only did my taste buds get taken on a journey back to the roots of good home cooked southern cooking, but the service was as warm as the fire my boyfriend and I enjoyed our meal next to. The steak I ordered was cooked and flavoured to perfection, prepared along side a skillfully seasoned bed of vegetables. My boyfriend ordered the salmon pesto fettuccine, which he was kind enough to share a few bites. This pesto fettuccine had the creamiest finish, with a flavour I've only had in Italy- love and garlic. If you, the reader of this review, are ever in the area, this is a perfect place to bring a date or the entire family! Enjoy! Cheers!

We asked for the warmest table in the restaurant, and they sat us right beside the fireplace! The gentleman who waited on us was very attentive. I had the mandarin chicken salad and my husband had the garden salad. Both were excellent! We will be back!

Great burger!! The chicken fried chicken was sooo crispy and juicy. Our little dogs were welcomed with open arms in the sunny patio.

Ruben was okay, burger and kids meals very underwhelming.. seemed like all the ingredients came from the frozen section of the grocery stores next door. Was all edible and the kids ate it but definitely not somewhere I'd go back. Staff was very friendly did a great job with the transaction.

We ordered take out because we had the dogs with us. The food is devious and very well priced. We are from Northern Colorado out vacationing and are extremely happy with quality and value. Thanks next time we are out here we are definitely coming back. We had the Ruben and Burger

Excellent food! I recommend the fish and chips and their desserts are wonderful.

We picked this place because it had a large selection on the menu and a dog friendly outdoor patio. We couldn’t have been happier! It was a great shaded outdoor space and the waitress was wonderful. Definitely try their fruit cobblers.

Good food! I had the French Dip and house chips which were so good! I also sat under a giant moose head which added to the fun “wild” atmosphere. They seemed short staffed. It took a moment for anyone to greet us at the front door for lunchtime but our server ended up being friendly and fairly attentive once we were sat at our table.

Ceasar Salad always no croutons check, gumbo soup the best! Check. Clam chowder, very creamy and yummy check. Grilled Chicken salad so big, could not eat all. Check. Appetizer quesadea almost didn't get a picture of as it was so yummy we ate before I remembered pictures!!!

Neat restaurant but we waited over 15 minutes to have our drink order taken (party of 2) on a Thursday at 11:30am. And then took awhile to get our drinks and food order. Food was 30+ minutes coming out and food and salads came out together. Probably won’t be going back.

Service was not good and very slow, even though the locals next to us had drinks as they ordered them...I get it...I guess. Food was warm at best and seemed like it sat under the heat lamp for too long. It tasted decent overall but would have been better if it was hot and fresh. The garlic parmesan wings were not crispy and not hot and did not taste good, we give them a 2. My chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes were a 4. My wife had the Reuben which she gave a 5. Older kids had nachos which had soggy chips and they have it a 2. My 12 year old had the fried shrimp and she gave it a 4.

We enjoyed our visit to your restaurant. We sat outside on the dog friendly patio. Service was great. The food came out fast and hot. The staff was amazing. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Thank you.

Pet friendly patio, which is always a plus. We ordered the gumbo, which was about average, and we recommend pairing it with something else, as it wasn't very filling. We also got the fried chicken salad, which was beautifully arranged and tasted very fresh. It was very filling. The grapefruit beer was delicious and the peach cobler was amazing!
