Nice comfortable hotel with plenty of amenities. Very friendly staff. The beds were super comfortable. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear the hallway noise and people above you. Good hot continental breakfast. We were enjoying our breakfast when the lady with the “service dog” tried to bring it into the small dining room. The front desk lady was very polite in telling her she could sit with the dog outside, but it couldn’t be around the food. They are pet friendly, but some people think they can bend the rules and then throw a fit. See review by travel 21.

It’s a low cost hotel (although it was expensive for our particular stay), but the rooms are very clean and functional. The staff is amazing and very welcoming! We’re used to staying at higher end hotels, so it’s hard to compare them to our usual experience, but this is a good solid place to stay, and the management and staff are really great! Thank you all!!!

Very kind, gracious person working the front desk who helped us get a pet friendly room when our van broke down. Straightforward, clean room, and a nice hot breakfast.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Close to campus. The breakfast area was a little cramped, but overall we were happy and woureturn.

Very poor customer service and not at all affordable or cooperative with long term stay guests, rooms are mediocre shower and bathroom area old and not very clean

Everything was fine until checkout. I left 2 days early, and checked out at the front desk in person. Front desk said have the 3rd party you booked with call us, and I will give you a refund for two nights. The 3rd party called me and said they had called Econo Lodge. Econo said they never agreed to do that. When I called Econo they were very arugmentative and unprofessional. They agreed to only give me a full refund on only one night. Looked at my bank account and they gave me half a night refund...

We have stayed in other hotels in Gunnison and the Econo Lodge has been the best by far! The room was very clean and updated and very spacious which is important when you have a little one needing space to burn off energy. The complimentary breakfast was incredible: fresh bacon, fresh waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, and more! They also weren’t restrictive with the breakfast, which we found other hotels to be. The staff had the best service, everyone that we asked for assistance from was extremely courteous and helpful! They really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel itself is in a great location, right next to a large park, ice skating rink and bus stop. Most impressive is that this hotel was one of the least expensive options in the area. We really appreciate the service and facilities and will be staying here again!

Clean room. AAA price. Breakfast ok. Nice staff. Walking distance to Sherpa Restaurant. The main hallway carpets need replacing though.

Ali at the front desk was wonderful! She was quick, clear, and friendly. I don't know if she saw my handicapped tag in my car or was just being thoughtful, but she assigned me a room right next to an entry door (which I really appreciate.) PRICE: exceptional. They matched the Hotwire price with no hesitation and with a smile. The only thing "cheap" about the room was the toilet paper. 🤷 CLEANLINESS: Everything was clean (floors, sheets, surfaces, etc.) tidy, and easy to find. CONVENIENCE: plenty of regular plugs, four USB ports on clock. Room has coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge (no freezer), desk, two chairs, hangars, iron & board, and hair dryer. Hotel has wifi, small office area (computer, printer, etc.) hot breakfast, and vending machines. Desk clerk has basic need items like toothbrush/toothpaste for free if you forget something, and menus from local restaurants. BREAKFAST: Eggs, bacon, biscuits, hash browns (not pictured, I left too early) muffins, bagels, breads, fruits, cereals, yogurt, juices, coffee, hot chocolate.

Jayna is so sweet! She was personable and didn’t make me feel like my 2 year old was a bother in the lobby while checking in or during breakfast. Clean place and quiet.. even during a busy graduation weekend. Breakfast was great. Hot showers, good water pressure, comfy bed. Will stay here again when we come back

Everything great friendly folks clean and affordable. Good free bfast with waffle sausage eggs bacon. Very clean. Let us check out a hr late with no problem as we where repairing vehicle.

Don’t stay here. We reserved a room for the night as we just moved and didn’t have beds set-up yet. Check-in: When we arrived, they took a very long time to check us in. We arrived just before 2:00 a.m. It took almost 1/2 hour to check us in. No Running Water: We were there to sleep and shower. There was no running water in the room. Charge: I was very explicit about only sleeping there for the evening. The person checking us in knew they made the reservation wrong and attempted to fix it. They did not, I was charged twice for the same room. I called and they said they would refund me for 1 of the 2 charges and call back to discuss how they would do a partial refund for having no running water. They did not refund our money for charging us twice, and have not called back to do a partial refund Don’t stay here.

Stayed here to drop my son to college. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and quiet. Located across from campus and a big park. Rates were good for the area because I reserved a few months early. Definitely don't wait til last minute though because this is a tourist town and a college town!
