Just completed my physical therapy with Airene. She is a very caring, thoughtful, and good therapist. We worked out every session very well. She answered all questions I asked. Airene really helped me with the issues I had. I really like Gurnee South Athletico. All the people are so very nice and friendly. I have used them for years and I highly recommend this facility.

Shirley has helped me a lot. She is a very professional therapist. The hand pain has improved a lot. I also want to thank Andrea and José for being so kind.

I took a family member here for a wrist injury and the staff was really friendly and patient with both of us. The therapist that attended us was very nice and also tried very hard to speak with us despite not knowing much Spanish, trying to make it as clear as possible which is really nice to think about.

Shirley Katz, who I saw for my hand, is wonderful! She is highly respected there and even called a legend! She fitted me with a brace for my hand so that I do not tire my joint and can continue living life in a somewhat normal way. She is an artist at fixing braces to help negotiate things that used to cause pain!

Airene Catalan my Physical Therapist did an outstanding job getting both my knee replacement on track. My doctor at Illinois Bone and Joint commented that I was leaps and bounds ahead in my recovery, he noted that I must have a great Physical Therapist. Another person that kept me on track with updates, Insurance questions and scheduling was Andrea Menendex, and many other team members at the 30 Tower Ct facility in Gurnee, IL. When you walk in the front door you are greeted by your first name from the front desk. They are very cheerful and pleasant. Then you're taken to the back at Occupational Therapy where Shirley took over as the therapist. She is very knowledgeable and informative and gave me helpful ideas on how to use my hand with the limited usage I had but she also did exercises that I am able to continue to use at home. I highly recommend Shirley and this facility.

I just completed 6 weeks of therapy with Shirley Katz for tennis elbow. Shirley was very patient, she listened to my concerns, always asked how I was feeling, & provided me with exercises to do at home. I would recommend her as she is great! The people at the front desk were very helpful, caring, & worked with my schedule for appointments. They were constantly sanitizing & cleaning after every use of equipment. All the other therapists are very friendly. If I need therapy in the future I will be returning to this facility.

David and his team are by far the best for physical therapy! David works at a pace that you are always comfortable with but makes sure you meet if not exceed your expectations! The Gurnee office is always super clean and they are consistently disinfecting everything and take every covid precaution possible to ensure that their patient's safety remain a priority always! David is so kind and personable and is always a joy to work with! Thank you!

Had Shoulder pain & Airene C. worked with me increase range of motion and now have a decreased pain. Great team. Very knowledgeable and patient. I would definitely recommend them.

Shirley Katz was wonderful. She was in charged of my moms therapy for her hand/fingers. Every morning/visit she greeted us with a smile and a great attitude. Did a great job explaining to us the movements and exercises. Documenting the progress as we went on with the therapies. She really cared about my mom getting better. Overall, it was great and I would definitely recommend.
