    I am really really disappointed and frustrated. I trusted them to buy an used car I went to see the car and everything was fine the next day I went to buy it and I asked them twice if the car wasnā€™t leaking any oil and they said no, so I trusted them. They delivered the car the same day I bought it when I got home I realized the car was missing the antenna cover and the front fender lines and the bumper were very loose, the next day I took the car to my husbandā€™s shop (5 min away from home) to check under the car and surprise!! The car had oil leak :| I took it right away back to them one of the ā€œmanagersā€ told me that maybe it was because of how I drive šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø and the fenders: maybe the mechanics who checked the car šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø so 1st, the person who checked the car was my husband. 2nd, the car was leaking oil. Then they said it wasnā€™t oil leak it was a power steering leak and it needed the hoses, the lady at service gave me a price of $800 and later the manager told me $1,200 and they want me to pay the half of price like how the hell will I pay for something that is not my fault. I stopped there today to talk to the ā€œGMā€ he said he didnā€™t have time because he had a ā€œmeetingā€ and then he sent the salesperson to tell me a different price that now the price is $650 but still, I donā€™t have to pay for something that is not my fault. They lied to me I need the car to drive it with my two little kids everyday and now they donā€™t want to fix it, they want me to pay for something that is not my fault. Also I took the car back to them since the next day I bought it, they said they didnā€™t have time so I dropped it off the next day and left the car there now the car is been there for almost 2 weeks waiting for them to solve the problem and they donā€™t do anythingā€¦ If youā€™re thinking on buying a car there I donā€™t really recommend them. UPDATES: the next day l wrote this review I went to the dealership, the ā€œgeneral sales managerā€ talked to me about thisā€¦ so he said they were going to fix the car under their cost. But I told him that I need a car thatā€™s why I was buying this one, if they have one that I can drive while they fix itā€¦ he said they donā€™t have cars but he was going to see if he can get one and he was going to call me backā€¦ I never got the call, Iā€™ve been trying to talk to them and they donā€™t answer the calls. 2 weeks later, I went to talk to the manager, to see whatā€™s going on with the car since they donā€™t get my phone calls, they didnā€™t even say ā€œhiā€ or ā€œgood afternoonā€ (so unprofessional) I drove 45 minutes to sit there down with my sick little girl just to wait 1 HOUR for one of the managers and none of them talked to me, they just sent the salesperson to say ā€œthey were waiting for partsā€ I work with customer service and what theyā€™re doing is so unprofessional!! If you (students, moms, or whoever) are saving money to buy a car I donā€™t recommend them, go somewhere else. They are unprofessional and they just want your money. I called again today (11-03-2023) and they just said one of the managers ā€œPaulā€ was going to call me back to let me know what was going on with the car and of courseā€¦ He never did!!!

    I purchased brand new car from here and had great experience. My salesman Jon Osvath really helped me get what I wanted and was very professional. The manager personally came to negotiate the price with us and treated us very professionally. Thank you.

    If you come to this dealership look for Ron, he is tu best sales person I have ever met. My buying experience was amazing. Ron was an amazing sales person and we were so please with his professionalism and work ethic. I went to look at the cars and went back the next day with my husband to get the car I wanted the next day. After I left the day I went to look around a Manager emailed me to offer additional help. Like, I said I was so happy with the costumer service from Ron I share our experience with others. Their financial team is great and clear. I got a fair and great offer from my trade in. The Best deal for the car. They were clear, kind and explain everything. I couldnā€™t be happier with such a beautiful service. Unfortunately the service department lacks of transparency, and costumer service.

    I purchased my Volkswagen Tiguan from Gurnee Volkswagen last week! A huge thank you to Tyler for all his help! I saw my car on the website and knew it was the one, Tyler made sure it was mine within a few hours. It took a week to get my license plates due to some issues with the WI system but Tyler stayed in communication with me the entire time. I definitely recommend Tyler, Alfredo, and Gurnee Volkswagen for anyone looking for their next car!

    At first we came in to only view and test-drive the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk at Gurnee Volkswagen. After the test-drive though we quickly fell in love with the car. With very competitive prices and great hospitality, I highly recommend checking out this dealership for all your car shopping needs.     At first I was happy, I got a nice vehicle at a good price. However even though it was new, I only got 5 minutes away from the dealership when I got alarms on the engine. I turned it back in the next day and sat there for 3 hours before they told me that it would not be looked at until the following Monday. They gave me a loaner for the weekend but on Monday they told me that it required a replacement part on the engine. That part is on order but will not be in until Thursday and I should be able to get my Vehicle on Friday. I buy a New vehicle with 7 miles on it and then I loose it for another week because it does not work.

    The sales team was courteous and respectful. They made extra efforts to find a deal that would work. My wife and I have been shopping for over a year across multiple brands. This team was willing to work with us and did so professionally. The finance process was digital and easy. We both felt it was one of the better vehicle purchase experiences we have ever had. The only change I would recommend is to have someone in service show us how to use the car. With all of the tech, it was quite the dive into the manual for several hours to understand the capabilities of the car.

    One of my worst experience buying a car. Read carefully what you agreed before signing any paperwork. At the beginning all great and wonderful, they added thousands of dollars that I didnā€™t agreed even that I specially told them not to several times. AFTER THEY GIVE YOU A MONTHLY PRICE, AKS THEM ABOUT THE COST BREAKDOWN ALWAYS!!!! Otherwise they will scam you adding warranties even if you told them no! After I signed the papers the treat me like if I was begging for money. They promise me an EV charger, that Iā€™m still waiting, and I donā€™t have any hopes by now that they are going to keep their word. Salesman is just ignoring my texts now! They donā€™t even want to send me my full contracts that Iā€™m still waiting after 6 weeks of buying the car. They are hiding the offer document that I signed with the things they offer me, Because they know they trick me. READING GOOGLE AND FB REVIEWS. THEY HAVE DONE THE SAME THING TO OTHER PEOPLE, AND THEY WOULD DO THE SAME TO YOU IF THEY HAVE THE CHANCE

    I was pleasantly surprised at my experience at Gurnee Volkswagen. I was very pleased with my experience with Iris, my sales girl . I did not feel at all pressured as we were discussing the vehicle, my desired out-the-door price, and my concerns about the inflated used car market. Of course, as a salesgirl , itā€™s her job to be personable and understand the needs of the customer, and obviously to her benefit, I felt she was genuinely endeavoring to ensure I received what I needed. We had a fun personal conversation as well! She is the best !

    Gurnee Volkswagen saved me from running out of power on my VW AWD ID.4 ProS. I was heading to Chicago and two charging stations in a row on I-94 were out of order. šŸ˜”. I only had 60 miles left. I was afraid I wouldnā€™t make it to the Electrify America charging station by Oā€™Hare. Soā€¦. I called Gurnee VW to see if the had a charging station. They did and said it was available. Super friendlyā€¦. And helpfulā€¦. Even though I didnā€™t purchase my ID.4 there. (But I did purchase my VW CC there a few years back.) While I was there waiting, I checked out some of the cars. They had a great selection. Be sure to check out Gurnee VW if you are looking for a car.

    Ron was a great salesman and worked with us for hours, even after the dealership closed, to get us a great deal on a new truck! Ron listened to what we were comfortable affording and didnā€™t pressure us in any way. We had shopped at other places and left annoyed after dealing with pushy sales managers.     Although nervous about going through a dealership to purchase a vehicle, having never enjoyed the experience before, I was pleasantly surprised at my experience at Gurnee Volkswagen. I was very pleased with my experience with Sandi, my salesman. I did not feel at all pressured as we were discussing the vehicle, my desired out-the-door price, and my concerns about the inflated used car market. Of course, as a salesman, itā€™s his job to be personable and understand the needs of the customer, and obviously to his benefit, I felt he was genuinely endeavoring to ensure I received what I needed. We had a fun personal conversation as well! Although I felt more pressure from Rocco, the GM(?) I did feel that he worked with me to get things to a price I was happy with, he knew the market well, and listed the vehicle at a price that was more than fair in relation to others I had seen in my research. I financed a portion of the used Subaru I purchased, and Rich was helpful in answering each of my specific questions regarding the additional products. Again, I felt some pressure here but I felt he was truthful here as well. I felt that there was a package put into the contract that I requested not to be, but, that is ultimately my responsibility to understand what Iā€™m signing. I should note I didn't receive every page of the warranty contracts that I signed. The entire team stayed late to ensure what was probably a relatively small deal for them, until about 11 PM, given that I arrived about 7 PM. I did decide to cancel most of the add-on coverages/warranties upon reviewing the fine print and deciding they didnā€™t make sense for me as I intend to keep the vehicle beyond the useful duration of the products. Rich has been helpful, so far, in canceling the coverages and I hope continues to be until the cancellation process is complete.

    Tyler was excellent. He worked with us to find the exact minivan we wanted and work with us with price to get us the payment we could afford. He's very knowledgeable of the vehicle.     I was working with Sandi to purchase a vehicle. Sandi was very personable and made the car buying experience an actual experience instead of a chore. Sales manager Luis was awesome to speak with and was available to discuss my concerns. Finance/Acquisition manager Will kept me informed on products and recommended additional warranties after he understood my needs and did not impose or pressure on any product purchases. It is a shame that this dealer was burglarized not too long ago, however they will remodel soon so buyers should look forward to coming here!

    As I walked into the car sales department and met Mr. Israel Rosa he changed the ambiance of the environment. He positively made a great impact in explaining in detail every question I asked him. He explained everything from engine size, to type of tires to where the car was made. Heā€™s absolutely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I wish there were other car dealers like him. Heā€™s an amazing candidate and a great asset to your company. We need some more Israel added to your company where customers will always want to come back.     This was the first time I went to a car dealership and didnā€™t feel pressured to buy a car. I worked with Cameron, he was great! I am extremely happy with the purchase of my new Volkswagen Tiguan! I couldnā€™t have asked for a smoother buying experience. We also worked with the manager, he was great as well and really listened to get my payments where I needed them to be. I will be referring all my friends and family to them!
