On DPR trail, great spot to park and run. It's about 5.5miles to Independent Grove park

This is a good trail that's connected to the north of the Des Plains River Trail. Some parts are a little muddy from the rain/snow.

It's a park, but to me, and underutilized trail head and kayak launch. Almost always nearly empty parking lot, and one of the few sections of the Des Plaines River Trail that isn't over crowded.

Great place to park and go north on the trail or launch a canoe or kayak.

Used the kayak ramp Terrible have to drag your kayak up a gravel ramp just to scratch your kayak.

Great park that provides access to both the des plaines river trail and des plaines river water trail. Plenty of parking, great kayak and canoe launch, port a potties. Great spot to put in on either a boat or bike for a great day of exploring all that the des plaines river trails have to offer!
