👍👍 UNLIMITED SUSHI. FOR $25. MIND. BLOWN! Honestly the rolls are like $5-$11 bucks, so I literally couldn't eat enough sushi to make the unlimited worth it. I still spent less than the $25 with my three rolls. Just insane, either way you work it, the value is amazing. I used to roll sushi for a livin... UNLIMITED SUSHI. FOR $25. MIND. BLOWN! Honestly the rolls are like $5-$11 bucks, so I literally couldn't eat enough sushi to make the unlimited worth it. I still spent less than the $25 with my three rolls. Just insane, either way you work it, the value is amazing. I used to roll sushi for a living so I'm probably the hardest critic on here besides Japanese folks. This place is in my top 3 all time now! Absolutely incredible menu, execution, and price. I wish I could give it more stars! Do not go anywhere else. Amazing.

Food wasn’t bad. I feel like the rice that they made with the sushi was very filling. Maybe it was made differently than what I’ve had before. Our waitress was a little rude to us (party of 5). I definitely heard the cooks use a microwave, but I’m not sure for what food. The special for all you can eat is a good deal though

Very pleasant surprise. Sushi was tasty and all You could eat…. With great choices on the all you can eat menu. Quiet and down to earth. Lunch all you can eat $21 w tax. Not a bad deal and fish was fresh and sushi arrangement was good too!!

First time there and no plans of ever going back. We were one of 4 tables with customer. The waitress was rude. Felt as though we had insulted her just by being there. We ordered 4 sushi rolls and no sauce dishes were provided or offered at any point. (Seems like a small thing but I have been eating sushi for most of my life and this is the first time I had ever seen this.) Water glasses went with out refills. She never checked with us to make sure our order was correct or if the quality of the food was okay. We sat there for almost 10 minutes after the last dish was cleared waiting for her to come back with the check. I ended up having to wave her over and asking for the check. He reaction was to wave a finger at me and walk away. Where she then proceeded to take another 5 minutes walking around before finally walking to the station to print up our check. She then walks up and holds the book open waving it at us waiting for us to put our card into without getting to look at it. Even though my wife was the one who had paid she dropped the book in front of me. Not set down…. Dropped. As we are getting up to leave she pushes he way past my wife to snatch up the book as my kids are trying to get out of the booth. Every restaurant I have been to or worked at, SOP was to wait for the client to leave, while thank them for coming, as they leave and then after they have gone pick up the check. Not once did this lady give us a warm word of greeting or goodbye. She was just plain rude…. Ordered the “Sweetheart Roll” and this is the first time I have ever been served fishy smelling tuna at a sushi restaurant. Everything else food wise was not quite up to par with other restaurants in the area.

If you're a customer service expert stay away from this place... There is this female waitress/server who just has an angry face all the time, and just what her face shows, that's the exact service she gives out.. The food unfortunately, is impacted by this treatment as your appetite is immediately gone after your first interaction with this lady. I do believe this place has a lot of potential, but I'm not too sure what is this lady's position within the business, therefore, affecting the entire establishment...

$4.25 for sake that frankly will get you at least very tipsy. Plus the sushi is very fairly priced. I don’t really know a better place in the area to take someone out for a date and I’ve been coming here for a few years now.

I recently dined at Toshi Sushi and Grill and had an extremely disappointing experience due to the rude and unpleasant server I encountered. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the server lacked basic customer service skills. Not only did they appear disinterested in assisting me, but their tone and attitude were completely unprofessional. Throughout the meal, the server displayed a complete lack of attentiveness. Empty glasses went unfilled, requests for additional condiments were ignored, and it felt like a chore just to ask for anything. Their behavior left me feeling neglected and unimportant as a customer. What struck me the most was the server's complete disregard for basic courtesy. Not a single smile or friendly gesture was offered, making the dining experience uncomfortable and tense. It's unfortunate that a restaurant with potential like Toshi Sushi and Grill would allow such an unpleasant individual to represent their establishment. Overall, the bad service I received from the server overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal or the restaurant itself. I would strongly advise against dining at Toshi Sushi and Grill until they address their customer service issues and ensure that all guests are treated with respect and courtesy.

Somebody needs to tell the girl server she has the WORST attitude and she should not be working in customer service. I was a loyal customer for over 3 years until she treated me horrible because i told her the mountain dew drink was all syrup and no gas. I always let her attitude slide until that time. The food is good but she’s the only server for years now and makes you feel uncomfortable and not welcomed i don’t care if she’s part owner she needs to GO. Will not be giving them my money anymore until they get a new server. I hope she reads this too.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Worst place for sushi! Doesn’t taste good or fresh. No flavor whatever! As soon as we walked in the hostess was so rude!!! She was rushing us and asking us if we were ordering from the menu or doing the all you can eat menu. I asked what kind of beer they have and she said: it’s on the menu check your phone!!! Like rude! Why couldn’t she just tell me? Then after like 30-40min I had to rush to bathroom and the rest of the night I had a pain in my stomach and kept burping the sushi. Please don’t go there! It’s not worth it at all.

I'm sorry, but so, so...disappointed,unfortunately, I would have to say that all you can eat sushi were the worst I have ever tried and I eat a lot of sushi. Ratio between fish and rice is literally 1:10 Rice is very watery and without flavor. Server is so rude too. I can not believe that it is how this place runs. I would never come back again. Waiste of money!

Waitress and I think she is the manager/ owner provides the worst service and was very rude for the amount I paid and i regret giving a tip. She likes to give out qr code menu, who does that, she needs to get fired. This place is loosing business because of her. ordered takeouts here and tried supporting local business in this area but i will not be going here anymore. The place smells bad, I got food poisoning here once

If you've never had sushi before, then this place is for you! They have rolls with pretty much just rice either fried or not fried. If you are looking for tasty sushi, then this place is a hard pass. We ordered a California, Green Bay, spicy scallop and spicy tuna rolls - - not sure why there is a menu listing different rolls as the contents of the rolls are barely discernible . Recommend hitting up your local grocery market sushi counter before coming here.

went back to this place in 2018, we got the all you can eat. boy was i sick. i actually got food poisoning. i see that my review had gotten taken down from 2018. good must of been bad or idk. i called the manager and told him how sick i was and he really didn’t care and said that i just ate to much. um no i didn’t it was just a cheaper option to buy the all you can eat then it was separately. i have not been back since.

Good covid handling. Typical Japanese sushi restaurant. Beef teriyaki was not cut well and had grizzle. Need to return and try the all you can eat menu with friends.

I enjoyed the variety of offerings on the menu. I tend to eat veg, so it was nice to have several choices. It was quiet, so easy to have a conversation. The food came out in a timely manner. I really enjoyed the clear mushroom soup.

Only times I've come here I've gotten the All You Can Eat. For $25 it is an absolute steal. Coming here with parties is a great opportunity for everyone to get plenty of food and enjoy their time. The food is good - not perfect, but good. I always tip well because I feel guilty coming here with a party, even calling in advance, because I know how hard they must be working in the kitchen to produce the amount of food needed for All You Can Eat. Overall, recommended if you've got a group. Individually or as a couple, you can probably find better individual courses elsewhere.

I am a local and tried their all you can eat dinner and it was amazing. The waitress was really nice and was knowledgeable about their nigiri shushi, and the chef did really good work on all 8 different types of sushi that I chose. I had an amazing experience and look forward to coming back again.

This is one my all-time favorite restaurants. The sushi and the sake are great and the price is really good for all-you-can-eat. I'm certain is the only restaurant I've ever been to that plays vocaloid music. So if you think you might enjoy unlimited sushi to Hatsune Miku and anime OSTs, this place his for you. Trans-friendly.

I’ve been coming here for years and I love it! This is my go-to sushi place. Fresh and delicious meals, reasonable prices, beautiful presentation, friendly and amazing staff and a great atmosphere! I come here for lunch by myself or with friends, or even come out here for nice dinners with company. I am never disappointed and will continue coming here for years. Thank you TOSHI for being so awesome!!!

Definitely one of the best all you can eat sushi places around lake county if not the Chicagoland area. This place won't fill you with 80% rice for their rolls like most other l you can eat locations. Also their drinks are delicious. Our favorite is the honeydew smoothie with boba
