Very iconic lake surrounded by big marble mountains with beautiful scenery. Movies like Ashoka & Mohan jo daro shooting done here. Best time to visit is Nov to Jan, the boat ride facility start after 15th Oct to ending May. In raining season the boat ride & in even the place is closed for tourist. Hope this review helps those who are planning to visit Bedaghat.

The Marble Rocks are less than an hours' drive from Jabalpur City and definitely worth a visit. It is a wonderful natural site on the Narmada and is best accessed by boat. There is an elevator to take you from the from the road to the boating area and back. A small restaurant is available opposite to the ticket counter. Marble rocks of different hues are visible. Excellent place for photography

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to visit. - Row boats are available (100/- per person, 8-10 per boat for 30-35mins ride, free for kids). - Nice Marble rocks are the main attraction. - Good road to reach the place from city, 'chalo bus' is also available to reach the place. - Snacks & Marble item shops are available. - During summers it's better to visit before 9am or after 4pm. - Boating is closed during rainy reason because of high flow.

One of the most organised and well kept wildlife sanctuary i have seen. They provide with different options to roam around the place, like one couple sharing, group sharing or by walk. They have electric cars to take u to different places around. The animals were kept in open well fenced boundaries not into some cage, that was the best part of the place. They have water cooles at different locations for the tourists. It was amazing experience to see the animals up so close.

Situated 25 km away from the main city of Jabalpur on the banks of Narmada river, the marble rocks at Bhedaghat rises to a height of a hundred feet and spread across 25 kms. These marbles stones reflect sunlight and cast shadows on the pristine water of Narmada, creating a serene and spellbinding environment. These marble like magnesium limestone rocks cast different colours in different lights and look especially beautiful in the moonlight. This area can be reached by taking a motorboat from the jetty at Panchvati Ghat (Rs. 30 per head) and its a 50 minutes ride along the river Narmada. One can You reach Bhedaghat by road by hiring a taxi from Jabalpur and it will take just 30-40 minutes to reach here. Government buses and shared auto-rickshaws are also available from Jabalpur to take you to Bhedaghat.

A boat ride in the lap of River Narmada amidst the marble canyons rising up to hundreds of feet got to be one of the finest experiences of my life. Though it was an hour-long ride but there was never a dull moment in it, thanks to our boatman who narrated the stories and myths connected to rock formations in a rather witty way!

Marble Rocks in Jabalpur is a such a gem of nature that you will feel inspired. Nestled along the Narmada River, this geological wonder is massive and has a beatiful landscaping. One of the most magical moments was witnessing the Dhuandhar Falls, where the Narmada River plunges dramatically through a narrow gorge. Go only weekday to avoid rush and must go in winters. The boat ride people may try to scam you but you cant do much as they will not take you further unless you give them additional money. There are kids who will jump from heights for 50 rupees but its really scary and risky.

Excellent natural beauty by white/gray rocks, stones, excellent ambient , and boating experience are v. good. boating is a must when visiting this place. For these two natural beauties, we have the mighty Narmada River to thank for. The river, as it flows through the landscape, crosses this beautiful marble gorge. The marble here is soft, and the flow of the river has carved out about 8 km of this gorge. This stunning nature’s creation is a photographer’s delight and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Madhya Pradesh.

This is a magnificently marvelous place to be visited near jabalpur. The natural marble rock hills are so good to watch. Boat ride costs 100 per person with guides who keep you entertained for the entire ride. This is generally closed during the monsoons as heavy rains cause flood like situations in the monsoons.

60 to 90 min is enough to cover the whole sanctuary walking (without spending much time to click pics). Lot of animals... Saw bear, alligator, tiger, fox, and other rare animals. It's a nice place and closes by evening. Worth a visit if you love nature.

Sajjangarh has two attractions, Monsoon Palace and Wildlife Sanctuary. This place will attract you if you love to be in nature. Ticket counter is located at the parking lot. The entrance fee is very nominal. Moreover if you are traveling with kids, and do carry their school/college ID Card, they would get further discounts. Rate for full ticket is 37 bucks. For foreigners the cost is 302. Don't bother for camera fees, as we did not see anyone checking or objecting to taking pictures. You may trek the whole area, or opt for Golf Carts. Now there is two types of cart. The Shared ones and the private one. Difference is that in the shared one they will try and stuff as many tourist as possible. And the private one is all yours. In the private one they give you sometime to venture and will help you pinpoint the animals in enclosure. The cart tour is barely 15 - 20 mins covering all the 21 enclosures. They will leave you at the last animal enclosure and you may walk the way to exit or take a common golf cart back. I suggest an evening trip, as in the afternoon heat most of the animals will be hiding. You will have a better chance to see them when the heat is not there. Be sure to carry insect repellent, as this place is infested with mosquitoes, or at least at our time of visit it was. Other than the animals, and a small play area for kids their not much here.

Boating in river Narmada at marble rock was relaxing and wonderful. The view is gorgeous and the place is quiet. It is good that they do not use motor boat which helps keeping the water and air polution away. There are different coloured rocks and the water is clean.

Stunning natural beauty, one of the unique soft rock formations popularly known as Marble rocks of Narmada. The place close to jabalpur city in a small town, earlier it was surrounded by forest around, but it looks more like a small town with narmada flowing through majestic rocks, one has to experience it closely is possible by boating only (sunrise to little before sunset) do check the timings beforehand. There are limited stay facilities private hotels, the best option is state tourism's Resort right on the edge with a view from the resort. Accomodation is standard not great the property is gone old need to revamp it, although rooms and tents are good with amenities. Inhouse resturant is available with good food options, one can get good stay options of the choice at jabalpur city which is 25 kms away. Highly recommended to explore this amazing natural beauty. Good for families and friends, For senior citizens now they have got lift service by mpt tourism at nominal cost, so now no need to walk through steep steps. Winters are the best time to explore.

It was not at all crowded(maybe because of the Covid times) when we did the boat ride around 5PM and witnessed a magnificent sunset. We took a private boat for Rs800 which was for 30 minutes. However, the boatmen took an extra Rs500 promising us to take further away which is a scam, don't fall for it. But those guys were pretty entertaining all through, giving running commentary.

✳️Awesome, as always, to ride on the Narmada. The boatmen point out various sights like different shades of marble and famous movie shooting spots in a funny rhyming style. ✳️It's a lovely, quiet ride, especially on a sunny day. Be sure to pay at the office up front and get an official boat, with a life jacket.

The best place to visit in Jabalpur...just about 45 minutes drive from the city. Breathtaking view and beautiful gorges and can witness the rock formation and the rivers flowing from Narmada River. We were accompanied by a small local boys who acted as a guide. Otherwise we would not discover this place. Roads were bad and need to be improved

I particularly went in summers thus couldn’t see many animals as they were inside their houses. However very well maintained place and kids go bonkers looking at animals without cage. Trip was very fantastic and worth for money. Tiger, African lion and panther was the center of attraction for everyone.green golf cart is too good for ride and reliable. I think they wildlife sanctuary should be more attractive and I want to give a suggestion that please provide animals with much more better shading to protect them from hard sun and provide fresh water. Overall my trip was very good.

It is not worth the price of ticket and time. The so called monsoon palace, was a small building, not more than a bungalow, on hill top, where members of royal family used to visit during lazy monsoon days. Today it is also sold as a sunset viewing point. Try this if you have lot of time to kill and money to splurge.
