I went in with a friend the other day and it felt so welcoming. It’s was our first time trying the food and they helped us out so much. I ended up getting the the Charleston which is the shrimp and grits and a mango lemonade. When I tried it I didn’t know what to say because it was so good. This food was made out of love and you can tell when trying it. I’m definitely going back.

The service was amazing! We had the Yard Bird it is a delicious chicken sandwich made fresh with fries and when I tell you the food was delicious it was beyond delicious! Oh and the strawberry lemonade I had to get 2 because it was amazing! I Highly recommend The City Bodega to everyone! Great atmosphere and the workers are amazing! Support this business!

I was so pleased eating at this ny style restaurant with an upscale twist. My sausage, egg n cheese breakfast sandwich at this location one Wednesday was so good, I came back Thursday with my husband. He ordered the shrimp and grits and I got the salmon cakes with grits and eggs. The shrimp and grits had so much flavor it was a cajun style so had a lil spice and had sausage in it. My salmon cakes were moist and 2 nice pieces with dipping sauce. The grits were good and eggs didn’t need any extra seasoning which is a plus. We also tried the peach lemonade, mango and the tropical punch. Delicious it’s store made taste wonderful. The food was sooo good. Fresh, delicious I felt I was back in queens NY talking to the owners both days they were so friendly and are from ny as well. So glad we have a authentic New York spot out here finally. Must try place and we will definitely be coming back often.

Wheew!!!! I don’t know where to start. The City Bodega is where it’s at. I had the #2 Time Square it came with grits, eggs, bacon and a biscuit so moist something I haven’t had since my granny. The fish basket with whiting fries and huspuppies was absolutely delicious and flavorful and I can’t forget the Fried Green Tomatoes was the BOMB as you can see I ate half of them before the picture. If you are in the area please stop by you will NOT be disappointed! One happy Customer! I will definitely be back.

Tried this place out for the first time today. I got the Yard Bird with some onion rings. The food was absolutely amazing!! I’ll definitely be going back and 100% recommend for everyone to try this place out, I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!!

Awesome place to eat! So many options and all day breakfast!!! Everything is delicious, made to order with an incredible staff. They're warm, friendly, and give great suggestions. I stumbled on this place looking for something else on UBER. I decided to try it out the next day. 1st great customer service. The owners are from NY (we are actually from the same place) the food is very good. I got the shrimp and grits. I really was coming for the Bacon Egg and Cheese on a roll but I wanted to try almost everything on the menu so I'll be back soon for the roll. Try it out, I'd go get a drink everyday it was so good. I had the Mango Lemonade

The food was very good. I got the #2 Times Square, my boyfriend got the Shrimp & Grits, and a Chopped Cheese as well. My only critique is I wish they had cheeseless grits (even though the cheese ones were very good, I’m dairy free). The service was quick and the woman who helped us at the register was very kind and nice to talk to! We will definitely be making this our new food spot, love that it’s down the street from my home as well.
