Loved this campsite as someone who can spend up to 10 hours on their phone a day. There’s no option but to enjoy the countryside, which is great for a short trip, considering the absence of any service or wifi within a 10 minute drive. We stayed as a couple with the dog which we kept on a lead and we had plenty of room from others (probably at least 20 meters) - we camped right in the back corner on the field that doesn’t house the toilet and shower block. This seemed to be a good decision as I’ve seen a few recent complaints about the farm dogs barking but they live close to the other field so if they were noisy we definitely didn’t hear a thing. Each pitch comes with a large fire pit and logs to sit on with firewood per night at £7. The toilet block has 2 showers and 2 toilets for women and I believe there’s only 1 toilet for the men + urinals and a unisex shower - these seem to be cleaned daily later on in the night. The showers were lovely and hot once they got going the water pressure isn’t great but you can’t expect miracles somewhere so off grid. Definitely take some shower shoes as the bathroom floor itself is pretty muddy. The only improvement I can really suggest is to supply drinking water as the water supply comes from the spring and must be boiled to drink. There is a communal freezer that is only to be used for ice blocks which you can rotate in and out of the freezer and your cool box. I recommend labelling your ice blocks before you arrive as ours went missing :(. Overall, you can’t complain when other sites are charging £40+ a night for something extremely similar, when this site costs £18 for a couple and a dog per night. Not to mention, the stream which runs along the side of the campsite (and sounds so relaxing I slept like a log for 12 hours) travels far up into the hills and is the best wild swimming spot I’ve ever been to with amazing waterfalls and pools.

A perfect little cabin in the countryside. The location is idyllic, with woods, waterfalls and paths on your doorstep. For the adventurous, one of the paths up Snowdon is accessible from the farm, for the less adventurous there are loads of villages and seaside resorts to visit.

Very nice campsite. This site has great views and is situated at the base of the Watkins path of Snowdon. The site has shower and toilet facilities onsite. There is also firewood available at an additional cost of £7 per day. Each tent pitch comes with a fire pit so you can light a campfire. There is no mobile phone signal at the site so be prepared to go without internet and phones for the duration of your time here. The local towns are around 20 minutes drive away and there are no shops nearby so make sure you bring all your supplies or be prepared to drive out to get some. Overall we really liked this site and would definitely visit again in the future.

Great campsite. Toilets & hot showers that were clean and despite only 2 of each never had to wait. Washing up sink with cold water. Tumble dryer that was £1 to use. Firewood £7 a night from a large pile in the carpark. Paid via cash. All very simple but good. Great location for climbing yr wyddfa and for exploring the pools above the campsite. My only grievance is the carpark isn’t marked out, meaning if people park spaced apart it becomes ‘full’ quickly leaving no where to park without blocking access.

I used this campsite as a base to do the watkins path. Absolutely perfect to do so as sits at the bottom of path. Beautiful surroundings. The nearest village is very pretty and is about 50mins to an hour walk away. I unfortunately was only there for the one night but will definitely be returning for longer next time.

Stayed 5 nights location is beautiful no signal which to me is a plus! Stayed next to the river running down past the camp which never affected sleep its more so white noise. Campsite is hilly so finding a spot when it's busy could be difficult but we were lucky. Onsite freezer for ice packs and a tumble dryer, difficult to catch empty when everyone else wants to use it. Females have two loos and two showers, believe the males have less but work is in progress. Firewood at £7 per night which is very reasonable. Campsite and washing area very clean. 20mins walk to the start of Watkin waterfalls ideal for dips. Only downside is no cars on the campsite so lots of carrying back and forth but understandable as it would wreck the field in all honesty. Sheep roam freely which was no problem and a firepit for pretty much every pitch which we've never seen at another site! Would definitely visit again! Katie on the site is around on nights, plenty info for walks nearby in the visitor hut. There was a cafe along the road with WiFi but everytime passing it was closed even with an open sign outside so unsure on that! Nearest town about 15 minutes drive. Snowdon...campsite is bottom of watkin Path but a more dog friendly route is 15mins drive away from Pen Y Path, pre booking required which we never knew! Alternatively there is a car park further past with a bus every half hour to the start. Very enjoyable stay also take plenty water or would have to boil the water but there are plenty taps

Beautiful location with good amenities (Ice block freezer, fire pits, nice toilets/showers). Very close to Snowdon and various other walks. Katy, the site manager was very lovely and gave us a great recommendation for a walk. Water did say you should boil it before drinking and there was no warm water for washing up. There is no signal which is ideal for if you want to switch off but worth knowing. Great if your wanting a simple, quiet campsite surrounded by beautiful scenery. I'm sure we'll be back.

So here is the honesty. The river next to it is soo loud, I nearly got a sleepless night. No peace and quite 24th a day. The place is great, very in the country side feel. Toilet facilities and a shower, shower was hit and miss, sometimes cold sometimes boiling hot. Car park was easy to get too. And self check great.
