Loved
this
campsite
as
someone
who
can
spend
up
to
10
hours
on
their
phone
a
day.
There’s
no
option
but
to
enjoy
the
countryside,
which
is
great
for
a
short
trip,
considering
the
absence
of
any
service
or
wifi
within
a
10
minute
drive.
We
stayed
as
a
couple
with
the
dog
which
we
kept
on
a
lead
and
we
had
plenty
of
room
from
others
(probably
at
least
20
meters)
-
we
camped
right
in
the
back
corner
on
the
field
that
doesn’t
house
the
toilet
and
shower
block.
This
seemed
to
be
a
good
decision
as
I’ve
seen
a
few
recent
complaints
about
the
farm
dogs
barking
but
they
live
close
to
the
other
field
so
if
they
were
noisy
we
definitely
didn’t
hear
a
thing.
Each
pitch
comes
with
a
large
fire
pit
and
logs
to
sit
on
with
firewood
per
night
at
£7.
The
toilet
block
has
2
showers
and
2
toilets
for
women
and
I
believe
there’s
only
1
toilet
for
the
men
+
urinals
and
a
unisex
shower
-
these
seem
to
be
cleaned
daily
later
on
in
the
night.
The
showers
were
lovely
and
hot
once
they
got
going
the
water
pressure
isn’t
great
but
you
can’t
expect
miracles
somewhere
so
off
grid.
Definitely
take
some
shower
shoes
as
the
bathroom
floor
itself
is
pretty
muddy.
The
only
improvement
I
can
really
suggest
is
to
supply
drinking
water
as
the
water
supply
comes
from
the
spring
and
must
be
boiled
to
drink.
There
is
a
communal
freezer
that
is
only
to
be
used
for
ice
blocks
which
you
can
rotate
in
and
out
of
the
freezer
and
your
cool
box.
I
recommend
labelling
your
ice
blocks
before
you
arrive
as
ours
went
missing
:(.
Overall,
you
can’t
complain
when
other
sites
are
charging
£40+
a
night
for
something
extremely
similar,
when
this
site
costs
£18
for
a
couple
and
a
dog
per
night.
Not
to
mention,
the
stream
which
runs
along
the
side
of
the
campsite
(and
sounds
so
relaxing
I
slept
like
a
log
for
12
hours)
travels
far
up
into
the
hills
and
is
the
best
wild
swimming
spot
I’ve
ever
been
to
with
amazing
waterfalls
and
pools.
